My concern is my child who has been stuck in the car 4 different times within a week. As I was driving my dashboard lit up with warning lights and audible alarms indicating that I should inspect my regen brake. They did a diagnostic test and determined that it was a faulty E Brake Module that needed to be replaced but is on back order with no parts available in the US to order. Furthermore they do not know when a replacement is available. They reset the sensors so that my safety features were restored. This is the second time within a 14 months of purchasing the brand new vehicle that electrical systems have needed to be replaced. The first time was a faulty wiring harness located in the trunk area that the dealership had said “must have been damaged during installation at the factory”. Again-when I driving at highway speeds suddenly the alarms and warning lights were triggered-leaving me without the same safety features, speedometer and power steering/brakes. The dealership was able to replace the wiring harness and the problem seemed to be resolved until this latest incident.Read more

... problem has been reported/documented way before it hit 84k. Jim Shorkey Chevy is a joke and Boby Rahal has no clue what warranty they’re selling people. This makes for a very loud, very rough ride that’s hard to control going any speed. There was also a valve that would squeak when it went from the V4 to the V8. In order to fix that i needed a whole new exhaust and muffler. Chevy would not cover any of this even though there is warranty for emissions through Chevy I can’t remember the year but i know the miles were 90k. I don’t have that on the car and for whatever reason an exhaust and muffler are not considered emissions even though if there was a hole or malfunction with them I wouldn’t pass the emissions here in PA. Make that make sense. All of these problem were reported within the year of buying this car back in 2020. I didn’t get a diagnosis for these problems until 2023 and 30k miles later. I did and still do have issues with the brake even though the vacuum pump was replaced back when I bought it. My antenna also leaked and I had to pay for that out of pocket. I’d love to stay with a gmc/Chevy but if I’m going to constantly have to pour money into it I’ll never go back.Read more

... easily have been. The dealership claims to have done an analysis on the vehicle and says the motor needs to be replaced. However, they have yet to give me a printed report that states what is wrong. I have been told there is a defect that allows oil to saturate the motor and that is why it died. My vehicle only has 55,465.4 miles on it and this should not have happened. The fact that there are so many other people that I have talked to and there are many reports on the internet from others who have had to replace motors that are so expensive because there is apparently no way to fix the defect other than replacing the entire motor. Every time I talk to the dealership they keep raising the cost of the repair and they also tried to give me a copy of someone else's repair and told me it was the same as mine, but they can't seem to locate the analysis that they said they did on mine. They did tell me at one point that they have had a lot of vehicles like mine with this same problem. I have not had the vehicle repaired because I can not afford it and I keep getting different stories from the dealer. Passengers side back sliding door power locks will not lock the door . Driverside back sliding door will not unlock. Occasionally makes a buzzing g sound. Cannot manually unlock the door or open it.

I do realize there is a Recall for Back-up camera; which I've had issues with since early part of 2022 (we bought vehicle in April 2021). March of 2022 we had our suv to dealership about screen turning blue; which they supposedly did some deprogramming. ... eceipts/documents to prove this). Well, now when in Reverse we have blue screen or black. Occasionally when in drive while driving or sitting idling the screen either is blue, black or completely freezes to where none of options such as Navigation, hands-free calling, or anything can be done/used. I have video footages, I have pictures and the matter is only getting worse! I have called Ford Corporation, I have taken the suv recently to local dealership and just keep being told that all that is connected to back-up camera; THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO!! The Ford Explorer has had many electrical issues ranging from 3rd row seat (have receipt/documentation of this), to at times air/heat not wanting to work. Plus, it has had oil leak coming from front CV axle (have receipt/documentation of this). Anymore the local Ford dealership gives me the run around about repairs it seems to keep me coming back to pay for diagnostic repairs. Ford Corporation when I call them puts me on several holds while they "supposedly" call local dealership about the issues (Ford Corp acting like they don't know nothing). In addition I ve found out that all Services, repairs aren't being reported as required by law to do. I tried to upload my videos/media of the suv but it wouldn't upload to this website. Tire size 225/55R17. - Sidewall separation on the inside portion of two tires (unable to identify from looking at tires on vehicle, this could go unnoticed by the driver). The contact owns a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. The contact stated that on two separate occasions while driving at approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle decelerated. The check engine warning light illuminated, and a message displayed on the infotainment screen indicating “Engine System Emergency, Take Vehicle to the Nearest Dealer”. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that no appointments were available; however, the technician used a code reader that retrieved message: “5 Volts drop to the ECM”. The contact stated that the technician then pressed the START/STOP button to restart the vehicle and reset the check engine warning light. The contact stated that he was able to drive the vehicle back to his location where he parked the vehicle. The following day he restarted the vehicle however, the failure recurred. The dealer was notified of the failure and the contact was advised that if the check engine warning light was not illuminated there was no need to have the vehicle diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 1,108.Read more
