2020 Ford Escape. Front driver door made a lot of creaking noise, hard to open and close, couldn't roll window down because hinge had broken was loose in door. Discussed with Mel Hamilton Ford, Wichita KS, while it was there getting another issue addressed. Said it was not covered under warranty. Just a couple thousand over 36,000. ... had expired. It was in and out of shop to get another issued figured out. Took to Lubber Ford in Cheney KS and they said the weld was broken took hinge out of door. I took to a body shop, said it can't be fixed needs entire door replaced for $3000.00. Ford knows it's a problem, they offered to pay $1200 of a $3,000 fix. Ford needs to replace door at full cost since they issued a Technical Service Bulletin in Sept. 2021. My Escape was still under warranty and had been at the dealership many many times for other issues and no one mentioned the door problem until I had it at Lubbers.Read more

(car is new purchase of 1 month 1 week old, 1250 miles, outside temp of 60 degrees, 3/4 battery charge, full tank of gas) Slowed to a stop at a red light in morning rush hour traffic. Engine sputters and multiple warnings appear on dash, including "Hybrid System Malfunction" "I ActiveSense Malfunction" "check engine" etc etc. CAR DIES IN LANE OF TRAFFIC AND LOCKS IN PARK.

Engine was ticking around 74k miles, it started off quiet and I was informed by a mechanic it should be fine as a lot of cars have a ticking sound. Couple thousand miles later the engine is nearly rattling and there's a thumping causing spaces of silence in the exhaust and there's also occasional hard shifting.

Department of Transportation (DOT) put Tractor Trailers out of service for similar issues due to the health safety risks. This is a common issue with Dodge Hemi 5.7 litre engines of various years and should be a serious issue as breathing carbon monoxide and traces of carbon dioxide are very harmful. Please look into this, the dealership has repaired mine twice with the same faulty parts and now it is bad again and said vehicle only has 70,000 miles on it. Thank you. There is a problem with the rear middle light on the lift gate. Water is getting into them and shorting them out then leading it to need a replacement. This is an on going issue with dodge Durangos. Something needs to be done with this design flaw on the Durango’s because they charge 1400 for the part plus labor for it to be replaced when the light wasn’t built right

I turned off the engine for about 10 minutes, then I restarted the car again and got back on the road. Additionally, the contact observed that while braking while following a curve in the roadway to the right or to the left, there was excessive vibration in the steering wheel and with the vehicle. The contact stated that the vibration was accompanied by an abnormal throbbing noise. The contact stated that once the steering wheel was straightened the abnormal sound stopped. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the vehicle needed to be re-aligned. They tought the problem was fix but again all lights came back again. This happened 3 times in the nissan dealer. This past month and a half I have being dealing with my vehicle. So this weekend we decided to take it to the Honda dealer that's 1hr away from my home, with all the lights on again, scare that she would turn off on the highway. No turn light signals working, no hazard lights working either. Finally today I got an answer from the dealer they said that the cars tailgate left side factory seal, that's like a rubber its falling off little by little and it messed up the computer that's next to the back left panel of the driver side. They say that this is wear but I have heard of too many vehicles being damage on the same spot and it starts with the tailgate. They want to charge me $673.89 to replace the tailgate control unit and that if that didn't fix the problem that I had to rewired the vehicle again and that was going to be be $4790.78. I would love to see Honda to do a recall on this, this is something that has to do with factory issue,I don't think owners should pay for something wrong they are doing while building this mini vans. I have warranty on the vehicle and they are saying that would not cover the repair because its a water damage. This keeps happening to almost all the Honda mini vans. I am simply writing this complaint because the recall says I should if I feel the manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy the recall in a timely manner. This recall is over 6 months old with no current remedy available. After 6 months, I would expect a recall that cites a potential increase of a crash to be addressed in a much quicker manner.

Turning left out of my neighborhood, the truck veered right instead. I lost control and ran up into a yard. Mechanic diagnosed rack and pinion. There is a recall but MOPAR States my VIN isn't affected. I beg to differ as we almost lost our lives.

My 2022 Ioniq 5 RWD died in my driveway in late February after first showing a "Check Electric Vehicle System" warning and limiting the vehicle's speed to 22mph while returning home from a short errand. I was initially able to at least turn the vehicle on, but the vehicle was completely non-responsive within two hours of returning home. If we had been traveling on the highway and/or far from home,
... we would have been in potential danger due to the low maximum speed and could have been stranded with a non-functioning vehicle due to the complete loss of power shortly after the initial incident. I ended up needing to have the vehicle towed to a dealership roughly 25 miles from my home. I was able to obtain a DTC before the vehicle died: (P1A90(96) [0x1A9096] Status: Test failed, Test failed (current drive cycle), Pending, Confirmed, Test failed since last DTC clear, Warning indicator requested). Since other Ioniq 5 owners have reported a similar problem, I suspected the problem to be a failed ICCU, and the dealership that is repairing the vehicle subsequently confirmed ICCU failure to be the problem. For reference, I had the ICCU software update installed in November of 2023.Read more

Vehicle engine light reported codes P050F, FE8:engine, and FE9. It was determined the Brake Booster Vacuum Pump was leaking oil and was faulty. It has been replaced and brakes better. Engine light went off. The other diagnostic by my mechanic showed the Oil Control Intake and Exhaust Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid needed to be replaced too.

Rear passenger door not opening even with door lock in the unlocked position. Child lock was is not activated. I've seen multiple Hyundai fourms regarding this. With door unable to open, presents a safety risk in an accident if the other doors become unoperable. My Hyundai service department has acknowledged the issue, but will not fix without charging.
