... nic years long recurring issue with Tesla cars. Tesla service can not fix software issues. It seems Tesla will never fix the issue. It creates a safety problem when driving because you must take your attention off the road and interact with the screen or try and remember the various voice commands to control them, or look at the screen while scrolling a wheel (you must pre-configure ahead of time to do this) while looking at the screen to see what gets selected on the screen, or do everything manually on the center screen. Attention is pulled off the road frequently regardless of weather. Currently in dry weather the wipers turn on unpredictably and often. Hour after hour on a long trip and you battle them all day long. Wipers are switched to Auto every time you use a driver assistance system such as Autopilot or Full Self Driving. You repeatedly disable auto wipers using your choice of method all day long. You are ready to rip wipers off the car by the end of the day. In wet weather auto wipers don't turn off when the rain has ended temporarily or becomes a mist needing only an occasional wipe by pressing the single wipe button. If you disable Auto wipers when it is raining you are constantly adjusting the speed between off, low, medium, and high which is eyes off the road screen intensive using scroll wheel or touching screen directly. Better if you can remember the speed adjustment voice commands which I can't because I rarely will drive in the rain because of wipers. I can remember disable because I use that constantly nearly every time I drive depending on the sky.Read more

While driving (no other vehicles present) it will display warning on dash. It will slam on brakes and swerve outside of lane. This causes the vehicle go off road or in another lane. The warnings will then disappear. It also advises to see dealership. It has been to the dealerships within first two weeks of purchase. They have not been able fix issues.

The issue is that the pawl spring tab in the side door latch broke. The door does not close. if closed manually by manipulating the latch to close it, the door may open while driving. There was a recall for this exact issue a few years ago but I feel it needs to be opened back up and more models added to it, like the 2016 Flex. I called Ford to let them know because I am aware that this particular 2.0L ecoboost engine is under recall in a lot of cars and when i looked it up it said that 2015-2018 forde ege models qualifyfor this 2020 ford ecoboist engine recall but the ford service lady said they will not help me because my specific VIN number is not included in the recall, but for my safety and the fact that the engine was under recall I beleave they should fix my car.Read more

After removing the lid, which was way too easy to take off, I noticed that all th box fuses were submerged in water. Yes there are safety concerns,what if my child ir myself was to get trapped inside the truck if the power windows and locks are malfunctioning? And on a hot day when the heat and air conditioning are also not working? How long would the truck have to continue to run before it shut off? There are electrical fire risks directly correlated with water in the fuse box. There were no warning lamps. Ford posted a service bulletin on regards to this matter. The power distribution module and the fuse box lid are at fault. The truck has since been repaired and are making us pay for it because it is 5,000 miles out of warranty. I have brought my car back to the dealership on several different occasions for this issue and all they have done is resurfaced the rotors and have changed the break pads and told me that there is nothing else they can do and to break more aggressively as there is a film on the rotors causing the car to shake when breaking.Read more

Rear window shattered when the front passenger door was closed. The car was sitting in the driveway and there was no external impact. Acura issued TSB 22-014 for a known defect ("incorrect specification for rear defroster grid') but is only replacing windows for cars still under warranty. This is a safety issue and deserves a proper recall.
