The closed recall of the brake light failing to illuminate has returned and I’m not sure of my future steps in getting it fixed. The Hyundai repair website mentions it as completed in 2014, when I did not have the car. At random, my driver tail light will not illuminate whilst braking. This is the fourth season on these tires. Three of these tires have all failed the same way - the tread detached from the tire, flopped around doing damage to the trailer and then fell off on the interstate. We monitor tire pressure and temps via external gauges and they were all inflated per specs, and running at a normal temperature around 90-100 degrees. 225 / 75 R 15

Auto brake fault has been a constant issue with this 2021 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid. Driver's side rear: Blew out while at Shaw RV while they were moving it between lots. When I went to pick up the trailer on August 28th, I saw the blown out tire on the spare rack and the spare mounted in its place. Picture below shows the tire blown out. ... ]. While placing the chock, I spotted steel belt material visible (picture below). I changed the tire. Monday,[XXX] I drove to get a replacement. Passenger side rear: After mounting the new tire, I decided to check the other two tires. I noticed a bubble forming on the passenger side rear tire. I removed that and the driver's side rear tire and took them to be replaced, also on [XXX]. (no pictures of those two). The three tires were replaced at Discount Tire in Alcoa, TN. While there was no blowout, it would not have been too many more miles before there would have been one, which would have been at highway speeds. All tires were properly inflated and I do have a TPMS system installed. No alerts were displayed. I was not there for the first tire failure. My practice is to drive at no more than 60 mph with occasional speeds of no more than 65 mph on downhill stretches so speed should not have been an issue. There was no road hazard damage. I purchased Goodyear Endurance tires to replace the Castle Rock tires except for the spare. It will be replaced soon, before our next trip. Thank God it was early in the morning, on a weekend, and with minimal traffic on the road. She was able to pull over safely, and call me. We have now been dealing with the insurance company that tells

The cost to repair is estimated $2,400. The dealership said this is a very common issue with the sunroofs to burst like this. My daughter's 2007 eos has less than 100,000 miles on it. Insurance won't total it as nothing is wrong to do so, and other than this window there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car. She can not drive it due to the safety risks of her head being exposed id wrecked, and the car at risk of theft. Please if this happens all the time then why are they not held responsible to replace it? It's just like the leaks on the arms of the hard top that volkswagenis definitelyaware of, and does nothing about. In Mid-August I was sitting at a stop light about to turn left. I was about the 3rd car in line. ... ted forward it didn’t begin the drive. However, I never lost power. It was like the car jumped from “Drive” into “Neutral” and I coasted through the turn. I hesitated slightly and then pushed on the gas. The engine made sound but no movement other than coasting. Finally, I felt a small jolt and the car started moving forward. I was able to clear the intersection and was back in Drive mode. At that time the “Engine Warning” light came up on the dash. The car was able to move, nothing else seemed to have a problem, breaks still worked, I pulled into a parking lot. I pulled over, parked, but did not turn the car off immediately. I was able to drive forward and back-up while in the parking lot, as well as make turns. After about a minute I turned the car off to see if the car would automatically “fix itself”. I waited about three minutes and then started the car again, and it started without any problem, but the Warning light was still on. I left the parking lot and was able to drive with the Engine Warning light was still on, but no problem with anything else. I drove about five miles toward home when the Warning light turned OFF. I drove to Oxmoor Ford for service, but the service department was closed. I then drove to AutoZone where they did an initial plug into see if they could find what caused the problem. They were not able to determine anything. I returned home and made the appointment for the Oxmoor Ford service center. The car service cost me $7371.17.Read more
