The fix was to put a jumper wire from the truck brake light to the trailer connector. I still do not have a blinker on the driver side of the trailer. When I contacted FCA US LLC Customer Care they refused to further extend the warranty for repair even after a supervisor agreed that this a safety concern and that he would not be comfortable with his family riding in a vehicle that risks them being trapped. Upon further research I have found that FCA has known about issues with the lock actuators dating back as far as model years 2015-2017 in which the warranty was extended to 15yrs/150,000 miles. This puts over 500,000 families at risk of being trapped in their vehicles in the event the lock actuators fail. This should be a safety recall with no mileage restriction as it puts millions of people at risk of death or serious injury if they were to be trapped in their vehicles.Read more

This is an ongoing problem. I have had multiple frame related issues with this 5th wheel RV. The bedroom closet wall separated causing items to fall into the opening, A crack developed that eventually reached 9 " in length in the sidewall by the bedroom slide. The main bracket that holds the slide wall to the RV cracked and needed emergency welding while on the road, if it broke completely off the slide would come out while towing! After numerous attempts at getting Grand Design to fix this unit, I had to spend thousands of dollars to prove it was road worthy to tow it from Arizona to Indiana to their service center. They finally agreed to repair it. After 3 weeks we got it back with everything fixed or so we thought, less then 500 miles later the crack in the sidewall came back. After reaching out to Grand Design again they agreed to repair it again, 3 weeks later it was repair. Now the Wall the they repaired is moving, obviously something broke again. From the looks of it they didn't fix the problem just covered it up. The supports under the floor are bent and I had to put a 2x4 to support the floor, never fixed. We are full time in this RV and it gets towed all over the country. I have tried to reach out to Grand Design again for repairs but have been rebuffed in my attempt. This RV has been nothing but a disaster, having replaced a bent axle, numerous leaf springs and brakes. This RV was sold stating it was for Full Time living, we will attest that is not the case as they are not built well enough to sustain towing on the roadways of the U.S.A and Canada.Read more

It is a mechanical defect due to poor engine design. The entire engine needs replaced. I have called Ford customer service and they said there is nothing Ford can do to even assist with the $11,000 repair of the car. I am left with a car I cannot drive due to safety concerns for myself and others on the road. I either try to figure out how to pay $11,000 for the repairs or scrap the car and have nothing to show for it. It is in amazing condition. 104,000 miles. I have pictures attached of the bore scope used to see where the leak is happening. The coolant is seen on the mating surface of the engine block and running down into the 4th cylinder. Upon investigation the metal latch bar was still in it's undeployed location (latched into the head rest) but there were visible plastic parts missing on the other portion of the headrest. The manufacturer stated they would prioritize my case but no specific date could be given. I was given an option for a rental and due to my circumstances I would not be able to afford a rental. (I have to continue payments on my loan & vehicle insurance.) I purchased the vehicle from Dyer Chevrolet Vero Beach, I did reach out (on 3/31/2025) and asked them why was vehicle sold if there was a stop sale. Steering is sticky and jerky when driving, causing driver to overcorrect left or right when making slight adjustments to center. Especially noticeable with highway driving. First noticed in 2024 and problem continues. Dealer said Honda is aware but no official recall issued as of yet.

Taillight "racetrack" style went completely due to water and moisture. Had to spend over $1200 and some change just to replace the unit. No license plate light either due to water damage.

My traction control light, ABS sensor light and brake indicator dash are on. My cruise control does not work. My mechanic says that it is the ABS Control Module. There is a recall for this part, but not for my vin number. The horn fuse had to be removed because the alarm would not stop going off, even when the alarm was not set. This is also associated with the ECM.
