All 4 of the window regulator motors blew in my windows at the same time, only about 9 years into the vehicle's life. The little plastic pulleys that move the cables degrade over time and then ruin the rest of the window motor when they break, and since they decided not to make this an easily repairable part it requires the entire window regulator assembly which is half of the door to be replaced,

I had to replace all 4 of them out of my own money, KIA REFUSED to replace something that is completely 100% their fault and it cost me over $3,500 to repair all four windows that went out pretty much at the same time. It's insane silly that anyone's windows can just break at anytime and be stuck in the down position. I can't just put up trash bags and then not be able to see a thing while I wait to get it fixed if it happens again. I was lucky enough to be in a position to get it looked at quickly, but it is absolutely insane that KIA would refuse to cover such a defect. There is already a class-action lawsuit over this I believe but they haven't even attempted to remedy the situation. Not everyone has time to wait for a lawsuit to settle. There should absolutely be some kind of recall/extended warranty on their windows. My engine blew at 57,400 miles only a few months later which is separate and was replaced but it's just insane that I was promised a car but got a piece of trash that consistently breaks while all I can get is a replacement engine with the same exact problem and no confirmation that the same thing won't just happen again while they continue to use the same defective engine over 10 model years. I want them to fix their issues not slap a band-aid over them and hope for the best. I am submitting this report regarding a serious safety concern involving the 10R80 automatic transmission in my 2019 Ford F-150. The vehicle experienced a failure of the transmission system, specifically related to a faulty CDF (Clutch Drum F) component, which I believe led to internal fluid loss without visible external leaks, ultimately causing complete transmission failure as supported in TSB
... 22-2428. The automatic transmission system, specifically the CDF clutch drum assembly, failed. This internal component caused loss of hydraulic pressure and transmission fluid without any external leaks observed. And which I have documentation from a professional automechanic stating there were no signs of the leak on May 5th 2025, as I brought my truck in for routine oil change and tire rotation.. The vehicle is currently sitting up crossroads ford in Sanford and available for inspection upon request. The failure occurred while driving at moderate speed at about 77,000 miles. The truck exhibited delayed engagement, erratic shifting, and eventually became unable to shift properly. This created a significant safety risk as the vehicle hesitated while accelerating from stops, increasing the potential for collisions, especially at intersections or while merging into traffic. Ford has yet to take responsibility for this issue. Regardless of the evidence and current TSB 22-2428. There were absolutely no visible signs of a transmission fluid leak nor warning lamps or lights to let me know. The dealership is trying to say the the transmission failure is due to the low transmission fluid which my warranty would not cover the replacement, however, in my case it was the opposite. The low transmission fluid was a result of the bad CDF drum. Which then fall under warranty. I am currently, presenting my evidence to ford regarding this issue.Read more

I then turned around and went to the nearest Honda dealership to have it checked. They looked at the issue and said it would have to be checked by their computer and were unable to do then. They assured me it would do no damage to the car and continue to drive it and they could book me in a week. Since this was not my usual Honda dealership I decided I would call them on April 25th in the morning, which I did, and they made an appointment for that Wednesday. This continued in my car till I was able to have appointment. The appointment was set up on APRIL 30 at 1 1 am. I had friends follow me up for the appointment as that dealership was about fifty miles away. For $170 they were able to analyze the issue, this money would be put toward any amount that was needed to fix the issue. There was an issue the multipurpose camera unit (electronic failure) and a part had to be ordered and would come to the amount $1,761.42 to have this fixed. I had no choice but to have it repaired. I then asked the service manager does this happen a lot and his reply in front of one of my friends was that this had happened to six cars in the last two weeks, but they were not Honda fits but were Hondas. I left the Honda there overnight and it was repaired May 1, 2025. Many have questioned why this should have occurred and especially with the statement the service manager made. We put the car out of ECO mode into Sport mode, so that the engine does not stop at stop lights, but the engine sometimes stops anyway. When it happened at a stop light today, we tried several restarts, but the steering remained out. Steering is worse at low speeds. Today, we stopped at a light. My wife was driving. The engine stopped and restarted, and the error message appeared. She had difficulty steering into a parking lot where I swapped places with her. I drove her home. It was difficult for me to steer around corners after today's lock up, but I drove the car to a local BMW-Mini mechanic with whom I had discussed the problem, but it never appeared at his shop. Today, we tried starting at the shop and the difficult steering persisted without an error message. He ran a quick scan indicating that some modules in the steering column were not operating properly. He said the modules were not available for replacement, and that the entire steering column might need to be replaced. Unfortunately, he was booked up until Friday. I drove home and let the car sit in the garage for a couple of hours. I started it while writing this to try to more accurately reproduce the warning messages. However, no messages appeared and the car steered easily. Clearly, sudden loss of power steering poses a danger for my family and others on the road. It has been recored and tested at Town Hyudnia dealership in Danville, NJ after it failed 2 engine oil composition tests but the dealership did not replace the engine nor put in a. request to Corporate Hyundai to replace the engine as it should be covered by the 2.4L engine lawsuit a fe years ago.

As a Material Planning Specialist in Paramus, NJ, I rely on my Gladiator for daily commuting, and operating it with a damaged component poses significant risks. The repair delay, while only three days and not yet qualifying for New Jersey’s Lemon Law, has resulted in my vehicle being returned without addressing a critical safety issue. During the repair, the dealership informed me that the hydraulic clutch master cylinder is damaged and requires replacement at an additional cost of $580, claiming it is unrelated to the recall. However, when I spoke with the service manager on May 20th, they admitted they have no evidence that the master cylinder damage is not due to the recalled clutch pressure plate. Given the recall’s documented risk of the pressure plate fracturing and causing collateral damage to nearby components (e.g., transmission case), I believe the master cylinder failure is likely a direct result of the defective clutch system. The recall repair should cover such related damages, yet the dealership refuses to include this repair under the recall’s scope without providing a clear explanation or diagnostic evidence.Read more

E- On 11/1/2024, 3 days after, Bomnin Chevrolet West Kendall Technician communicated that vehicle was mechanically fine and were unable to duplicate the problem. I accepted the vehicle back with 5,901 miles of use. #2 A- On [XXX] vehicle sensors disabled breaks again while driving on Miami city street. B- Driver Digital Displayed flashed following Alert Messages. a- SERVICE TRAILER BREAK SYSTEM. b- SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL. c- SERVICE ESC. d- CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON. C- Having experienced this back in October, I knew what to expect. Unresponsive breaks, fortunately on 2nd occasion I was driving slower on a city street and was able to coast to a stop. D- On 4/10/2025 took vehicle back to Bomnin Chevrolet West Kendall for the same problem, break failure. I once again explained to Technician what happened, showed them pictures of the Alert Messages. E- Vehicle as of today, 5/18/2025, remains at Bomnin Chevrolet West Kendall for a total of 39 days and is yet to be repaired. Given the severity/danger of defective break sensors defects there is “nonconformity” that under the Lemon Law is defined as a defect or condition that substantially impairs use , value, or safety of the vehicle. These 2 incidents make this vehicle unsafe for drivers, passengers, and general public in proximity. I was driving at a speed of 32 no other cars around. All of a sudden I hear some buzzing and feel vibration, and I see a hazard icon in the dash flashing. It was a white triangle outlined in red with a red exclamation mark inside of the triangle. The car slowed dramatically almost stopping as the alarm or buzzing sounded. Then all at once the alarm stopped and the car resumed speed.
