I had been driving for 30 minutes from Mokena towards Rosemont. I was on [XXX] near rosemont when the rear passenger-side window spontaneously shattered without warning. There was a loud pop, and tempered glass collapsed inward into the rear cargo area and passenger footwell. Some of the glass traveling quite far. All glass remained inside the vehicle, which I have read is consistent with spontaneous failure rather than impact. Safety Concerns: The sudden breakage was extremely loud and could easily startle or distract a driver to cause an accident or injure the driver with glass. I was alone, but this could pose a serious injury risk if a child or passenger had been seated in the back. The volume and distribution of shattered tempered glass throughout the car will require extensive cleanup. While I suppose it could have been object, this appears consistent with a known safety risk involving nickel sulfide inclusion or internal glass stress in tempered automotive windows. Action Taken: I have documented the incident with extensive photographs. I am in contact with Subaru, but they are looking into prices for us to fix that window. I am submitting this report to ensure visibility and support further investigation into whether this issue is occurring in other 2023 Foresters or related Subaru models. Once the vehicle dries out, the systems return to normal. Toyota tested the battery and alternator and found no faults. The dealership and Toyota Corporate have been notified, but they have so far refused to approve a Goodwill Repair or perform deeper inspection for water intrusion into the fuse box, firewall harness, or Body Control Module (BCM). ⸻ 🧩 Suspected Cause: I believe there is water intrusion due to a design flaw, likely through the windshield cowl or firewall. Other Highlander XSE owners have reported nearly identical symptoms following rain exposure. Hi, my name is [XXX] and I leased a 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy last summer. I have been having issues with my car skidding on rough or uneven pavement and I brought the car in for service to check the issue. I was told by the dealership that my issue is "normal" and it's how the ABS system works. This is obviously ridiculous because no car is supposed to skid on regular roads with no snow

I told the dealership it is definitely not normal. They said they would check the car and call me. I got a call a couple hours later telling me the ABS system is working fine. When I googled the issue, I saw many, many complaints about this issue and a class action lawsuit that has been filed. I picked up my car and asked the representative to speak to a manager. He said they all leave at 4:00. It was 4:30. I asked him how Hyundai is ok with sending people like me back out on the road knowing the ABS system is faulty and causes loss of brakes? He replied "Until Hyundai issues a recall, there is nothing we can do." I have owned Hyundai cars in the past and have always admired them as a company. They offer great safety and great warranties. But now I ask why they are ignoring this obvious safety issue? What will happen when a person driving a Palisade loses brakes and God forbid hits a car or a person? While driving with the Adaptive Cruise Control enabled, on California highway 5 on Aug 28, 2023, the vehicle applied the brakes very aggressively and suddenly, shy of making a complete stop, without any object or shadow requiring it to do so - known as the "Phantom Breaking". The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system (which is part of the Auto Pilot system) on this vehicle is dangerous and should be avoided. I wish the vehicle had the [old fashioned] non-adaptive cruise control but it doesn't. Answering the questions: Nothing failed but the ACC clearly malfunctioned since there was no object, shadow, road animal, change in asphalt color, etc. to cause it to abruptly break. It was a clear sunny day. Any accident at such highway speed could've been deadly to multiple drivers on the road. When I informed the dealer, they "verbally" acknowledged and informed me of the term "Phantom Breaking" that they had heard of the problem being reported by others but nothing to worry about and they didn't inspect the vehicle. Had we been on the interstate we would have died, These incidents were sporadic and occurred on and off during the month of April and May. Each of the above occurred numerous times to different drivers. Service at two locations were unable to ID. We sold the moving death trap to one of the Hyundai dealers who could find no mechanical problems with the vehicle. The vehicle was terrifying to drive. There are other reports on this vehicle of these issues ... which appear to be electronic. Hyundai has good engineers. They know what is causing this and simply do not want to replace a very expensive but obviously failing electronic control module.Read more

Front camera fault. Pre collision systems don’t work without it. Large online community with the same issues but ford refuses to acknowledge it’s an issue. They won’t help even if errors start happening before warranty is over. And once warranty is over they charge large amounts to fix. At 53,000 miles the Coolant Control Valve has failed 2 times. A very common problem many owners have had. 1st CCV replaced at 45,000, second lasted less than 10,000 miles. ... d acceleration the truck struggles to get up to speed and has hard time maintaining even 65mph. It’s compounded when towing, making it near impossible to maintain pace with highway traffic. My vehicle is basically rendered useless as I use it regularly for highway commute and also towing. The vehicle may be “safe” in that it won’t blow up, but it’s certainly not safe to drive when it can’t maintain even the speed limit.
