Later that day, it lost power on the road, the speed dropped suddenly, and it would not accelerate. The same stalling and jerking occurred again on November 10 while my husband was driving. We contacted Ford Corporate and NHTSA, but both said nothing could be done because the recall label says the car is “still drivable.” This is inaccurate and dangerous. The car stalls and loses acceleration randomly, creating a serious risk of an accident. On November 21, the car again failed to start after refueling. This has happened multiple times each week, and Ford continues to delay a fix. It has been in service seven times since then, at two different dealers and no service department has been able to fix the problem. I have notified Hyundai Corporation and have been working with a customer service representative but she has not been able to be terribly helpful. Hyundai tells the service department what parts to order, they do, but the problem has never been fixed successfully. The vehicle has been examined and fixed by two Hyundai service departments. I hit a pole in the West Palm Beach Airport, my camera and back up system were not working, the pole was below the view of the mirrors and it resulted in 2000.00 worth of damage which I paid for out of pocket. The date of this incident was March 23, 2025. I did not call the police as it did not involve another car so technically I guess it was an incident rather than an accident. ... nda. 10/20/2025 I spent $2274.28 on service at the Honda dealership. Service included transmission service, oil change, strut service, replace front struts, wheel alignment, and resurfaced front rotors. I've had all my regular maintenance handled timely and at the dealership. I was 75 miles from the dealership and had to spend $521 to have it towed to the dealership. My truck lost power so fast after the check engine light leaving me on the side of the hwy 15 miles from the nearest town as the sun set. I waited in the dark for a tow truck. So grateful that I had regained cell service to call for help. The truck is currently at the dealership awaiting resolution. Dealership notes: engine oil leaking all over the engine assembly, used bore scope and inspected behind bank 2 catalytic converter and found a hole in the engine block. Recommend replacement of the short block with new heads or replace the engine. Service department suspects the problem a connecting rod bearing failed. We've had multiple phone and in person discussions regarding the matter as we try to resolve this. There is a recall on the 2017 and 2019, but not the 2018. There is an open probe regarding the 2018. The back up camera intermittently comes on when vehicle in reverse. Sometimes it shows a camera with a line, sometimes an image then it disappears and sometimes the image is hazy or distorted. It is never consistent nor reliable. The rear view mirror cannot be used to its full size because of the image of the failed camera.

High capacity fuel pump stopped working while going up a hill. Lost all driving power on freeway and was unable to accelerate any more. Luckily there was a pull off on the freeway or I would have been on a blind turn with cars going 70mph. Had to have pump replaced at a local shop as there was no recall for 2023. 2021 and 2022 have the recall for this specific component.

Bought vehicle and reviewing safety features the next day I realized the Forward Collision Warning light was on because it was malfunctioning and not just turned off. Same with the AEB light. Then Active Lane Management came on as did ACC. This is a concern since they are all safety features. Took it to dealership and they unhooked battery to try and make the windshield spray work. This complaint is in regard to the most recent recall on Dodge Darts, the transmission shifter cable detachment. I was in the process of parking my car on an incline. All was normal. I had been out running errands, driving, and shifting for a few hours. The gear shift felt disconnected from anything; there was no effort required to move it back and forth in the shift. The car was not recognizing
... any movement I was making with the gear shift, and would not lock into place for any gear. I had to hold my foot on the brake even while "shifted" into park; otherwise, I would drift backwards into the car behind me, and potentially into a ditch/creek. I had to call for help to stabilize my car, with bricks behind the tires and a 25-pound weight left on the brake so I could exit the vehicle. We had to lift and open the gear shift to the compartment underneath and manually shift the car into park. During this, we unfortunately broke something under the gear shift. This happened on a Sunday evening (July 20), so no repair person was available to help me. Chrysler refused to offer any assistance or information about the last recall of this issue, and advised me to call the dealership that did the repair (they would not tell me which one I went to, just that it was marked complete in 2019). I know I went to a Shorkey location, but not which. I called three Jim Shorkey Dodge locations in Pittsburgh, and they all refused responsibility. I was told to call Chrysler again. I did not, because why would I? A local mechanic was able to acquire the part from Dodge to "fix" the issue. However, he had to override the safety mechanism that causes the car to recognize what gear the car is in before it can turn off. So now I have to drive around, hoping I don't accidentally press the power button and shut off my car on the road. The car was inspected by a representative from Progressive. They determined a mechanical failure and denied my claim for coverage. This is BS.Read more

The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that after shifting into park(P), there was an abnormal beeping sound coming from the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact shifted into neutral(N) and then back into park(P) to stop the beeping sound. The contact stated that while the vehicle was shut off and in park(P); the gear shifter independently shifted
... out of park(P) into reverse(R). The vehicle did not move backwards; however, the contact was able to shift back to the park(P) without further failures. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was provided with the cost for a diagnostic test. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure, despite multiple attempts for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.Read more

I was told they replaced it but did not show me the proof nor did they give me a valid warranty card. There is something wrong with the electrical system everything flickers and it just sounds really bad. The driver side passenger side window broke because it's made of plastic. The front both passe
... nger and driver side door handles broke off. I had to Jerry rig it. And the reason I think this would be dangerous is if we were to need to get out of the car we would not be able to in case of an emergency. I've looked under the items that were recalled on this vehicle. But I get a notification that says I'm not allowed to have it fixed. Unless it's out of pocket. I purchased this car in August 2015 or 2016. The dates on the calendar below are inaccurate because the catalytic converter was done the very next day and the driver side indoor handle has been broken off for quite a while. But recently in the last week or so the other one snapped off.Read more
