The uConnect 8.4 Display in my car has begun to delaminate. There is a large air pocket under the top portion of my display. This morning while waiting for the car to warm up so the heat would function on the climate control system, I used the display to set the defrost to on. After removing the initial frost from my windshield and I was able to see clearly, I left the house and headed to work.
... While on my way to work I begun to hear confirmation beeps from my display, as if I was touching the onscreen controls. The touchscreen display began to change settings on its own. Changing my climate controls from High heat to low Cold resulting in my windshield immediately frosting up and reducing my visibility to nothing, during morning traffic. I nearly impacted another vehicle that was turning while distracted by the display and the lack of visibility it caused. I rolled down the windows and found a safe place to pull over to wipe the frost from my windshield. The entire time the display was switching thru pages and begun to call contacts from my phone change songs, and even the performance level settings. I had taken the vehicle to the dealership far prior to my warranty expiring when I initially noticed the bubble at the top of my screen, only to be told that since it was a cosmetic defect and the operation was normal that the warranty would not cover the replacement. and a replacement was $2,200. Now my vehicle warranty is expired and it has changed from a cosmetic defect to a defect that has affected the safe operation and nearly caused me to rear end another vehicle at 55 MPH. From the research I have gathered during my lunch break the display in these units operates too hot and the glue bonding the touch panel to the display itself has melted and caused the separation. It seems to be a common issue that affects any vehicle with a 8.4 uConnect display, judging by complaints on the forums. This is not only a distraction but a Major safety hazard.Read more

3 malfunctions within a month time frame. The car will start and run normally. Then it will suddenly come to a halt because the engine will continue to run but the transmission knob will not be able to move, and the entire electrical panel lights up. ... major roadways in traffic. PD was called for last incident. The car has been to the dealer 3 times, dealer is unable to replicate problem and unable to pull codes from computer every single time. Vehicle has been inspected by dealer every single time. No warning lights or lamp or messages have appeared prior to this issue. The last incident - as described on major roadway - my children were in vehicle. This is a complete and dangerous issue, still not being addressed. Front door airbags. Door trim has separated from the frame. This may impact airbag functionality. I have noted many issues and complaints about this problem. It is common across the Dodge line, not just charger or challenger.

This is the second time my driver side window motor has gone out. I know this is not a normal wear a d tear issue. The shifting column had the plastic cover just pop off(I guess the glue melted or it wasn't even secured in the first place. Driver side seat plastic covering over the switches disconnected from whatever it was connected too. As much as these cars are priced and sold, might as well by
... power wheel toy, because that's the quality. The control panel keeps flickering for the passenger doors and trunk. It's hit or miss if the rear hatch opens and sometimes we open the idimf door and it will close halfway to opening. I have had the car multi point inspected at a dodge dealership in January due to the sliding door malfunction as well as a major oil leak and repaired but the amount of electrical issues has been ongoing since purchase!!Read more

It refuses to start. Light comes on the dash for the throttle body and when fuses were tested it was found that the TIPMs power cuts out. Which led to a research and found online that a recall on that exact issue/part was for certain 2011-2012 models.
