My 2012 Dodge Charger was bought used and it had been recently repaired and recalls performed on it. (The dealership was nice to point that out to me.) in Dec 2020 Wa. state. I let them know that I was aware that this issue was addressed under NHTSA action number PE13016 and should be covered under the lifetime warranty extension. I was told by the service adviser that I am required to drop off my car and that it would be 7-10 days before they would look at it. I suggested that they put me on a list and I could bring my car in 7-10 days at a time when they were able to look at it. They were unwilling to do this. They're insisting that my car sit in their lot for 7-10 days before they will even look at it. This isn't a scheduling issue. I can go on their website today and schedule my car for any other service tomorrow. No, this is a punitive action. Clearly they don't want to do the repairs and they're hoping I'll just go away by making it unreasonably difficult; not to mention expensive considering that a rental car will now be required. Chrysler and their dealers are not acting in good faith with regards to their agreement with the NHTSA and PE13016. In my experience and opinion they're doing whatever they can to evade these repairs. I'm a little disappointed that a full recall wasn't ordered. Dangerous for drivers, Illegal in the USA to drive without a seatbelt and not covered by any Dodge/Chrysler/Mopar Warranties or recalls. The cost for the part alone is $364. *2nd reporting of same issue* Intermittent failure to start/stopping occurring again. Fuel pump and TIPM was replaced and issue is still occurring about 8 months later. 2011-2013 durangos had a recall for this issue. I believe the 2014s should be included as well. This is very dangerous and a safety hazard should vehicle stalls and unable to start.

The dash has been cracking for years. It has now disintegrated into very small pieces. It has clogged up the air ducts. The small pieces have blown in my eyes, creating a driving safety hazard. Ample history and reporting of this matter has been filed. It is an extreme safety hazard. The responsibility is clearly a manufacturing defect.

I waited maybe 10 minutes and hooked the battery back up and seconds later my horn only started going crazy again so I had no option out of the safety of me and other vehicles on the road to just have it towed back to my house I have been researching it and I've come to find out that there's several others with dodge nitros that have had the same issue as me. The tipm module (fuse box) was bad. I have yet to be able to drive my vehicle as it would be very unsafe and I've not yet got it towed to the dealership to look at it for reasons of what I've seen other complaints had to say about there experience at the dealership.. there needs to be a recall on the electrical malfunction as it is a huge!!! I brought my vehicle to an Phoenix AZ dealership off of Black Canyon Highway or I-17 on Camelback for airbag safety recall and interior lighting recall and any others needed. When I dropped it off initially I parked on lot by the garage inc front of the rental car business directly in front. I exited my vehicle walking up to repair garage to make sure I could drive into it for recall repair. I wa

Upon arriving after they provided the airbags recall, moved my dome light which was located on driver's door module that also has other functions,(moved to another module preventing an interior fire on long trips which I was moving for a job to Audubon MN that next few days) and I was unable to enter the vehicle by my driver's door. I had to physically crawl in the passengers side of car over the middle area and drink holders to squeeze my legs under the steering wheel. They informed me it was like that. I requested the video from rental employee mgr or person in charge and he stated "it would be like finding a needle in the haystack". It happened that I also sat for over 3 hours till close there, had a mgr request 2 inspections from his men, filed a complaint, talked with several reps and all before I left the lot. Also I had a tire light on my dash, and others that I find out are all connected to the module the dome light used to be attached to. While leaving my door locks were going up and down like they were a possessed pissed of psycho spirit , my steering wheel didn't lock anymore, and I decided to wash my car in a CAR WASH which almost got me a rear end incident from the car behind me because my 2004 DODGE DURANGO SUDDENLY SHUT OFF. Shut off and wait several minutes. Restart and symptoms gone. Happened to wife about one week later on ramp merging to interstate. Having been forewarned, she was able to slip into neutral, kept foot on brake, no pumping and coast to stop. After leaving off for several minutes was able to restart and make it home without issue. Took it to nearby mechanic, which looked at the throttle body, but they did believe it to have resolved issue, did not charge me and recommended to go to dealer. Did not drive most of the year due to covid19. Eventually took to dealership for recall and to specifically diagnose acc. issue so we could meet some family out of state. They fixed a few non related issues and recall. Did not fix acc. issue, or even put on receipt that they looked at it. When asked to print me new receipt so I could have proof that it was at least brought in for that issue, clerk told me it would mess up receipt in their filing so instead wrote it in with initials. Called dodge customer support because tr. fluid leaking after dealer worked on it. He told me that it was impossible to leak since it was a closed system and asked if he could help me with anything else. I mentioned the acceleration, he cut me off and started to talk about tr. fluid again and transfer call to a local shop. Asked again if there was anything else. Vehicle accelerated rapidly, from around 20 mph to excess of 70mph. When brakes were applied no effect was noticed. Pumped brakes and became to stiff to push down, speed continued to climb. Rpms at max. Tried to put in neutral but panicked and put in reverse. Causing a slamming halt and loud noise. Engine became so loud I thought it might explode. Tried to put in neutral and symptoms continued. Sh
... ut off engine, restarted, symptoms continued. Less than 1000 ft from home a s was hoping to to get in driveway, put and drive and it peeled out, engine still revving, brakes still stiff. Shut off and wait several minutes. Restart and symptoms gone. Happened to wife about one week later on ramp merging to interstate. Having been forewarned, she was able to slip into neutral, kept foot on brake, no pumping and coast to stop. After leaving off for several minutes was able to restart and make it home without issue. Took it to nearby mechanic, which looked at the throttle body, but they did believe it to have resolved issue, did not charge me and recommended to go to dealer. While pulling into a parking lot, the engine suddenly died with no indicator lights or warning of any kind. Steering locked up and brakes were not functional. Coasted to a stop in a stall and put the vehicle in park. Restarted it without incident but I'm afraid it will happen in much more dangerous conditions
