When I bought the car all brake lights were on. I took it to Landers and they diagnosed the problem as a bad ABS control module and another part connected to it. I'm unable to use cruise control and my traction control is off as well. The warning lights will occasionally go off but they are usually on. Also the manufacturer has discontinued the parts I need so I can't get them to fix the issues.

The drive shaft on my Charger started to make a clicking noise. At 56,694 miles I had to replace the drive shaft at an independent garage because the Dodge dealer could not see my car for 3 weeks. The drive shaft is at the garage and available for inspection. I called Dodge for any compensation, and they said they would not provide any.

I took my vehicle into my nearest dodge dealership, which is about an hour away from where I live. I had scheduled an appt. with them over the phone in which I had to wait because they didnt have the "parts"in for the recall. This specific recall was to repair or replace the PCM, or update it if it could be. I waited for weeks, and never heard anything back from the dealer, finally I was able to
... secure an appointment with them. They kept my car all day and I had to hound them to be able to come get my car as they never contacted me to let me know if it was done so I could pick up my car before they closed. Finally I called and 10 min before they closed I was told my car was completed. When I went to pick up my car it was still in the back lot and parked very tightly between other cars. My 2014 Dodge Charger's heat was all the way up and this was during the summer, and it still had the throw away car mats covered in dirt inside. After carefully backing the car out of their back lot I went upon my way. I had to reset my clock as well. About 4 months go by and my check engine light came on and my vehicle was reading misfire on cylinder 1, the light remains on, the vehicle shudders at idle and smells of fuel on start. Covid happened and i was not able to get my vehicle in to the manufacturer but did get in to my local mechanic and they could not find the problem but saw what the car was doing and suggested to take it to the manufactuer again, please note it is 48 miles from my home. I was unable to address this issue until now and it occured to me that the PCM can cause these problems and due to the lack of confidence and lack of courtesy I believe that they did nothing in regards to the recall.Read more

1. The engine failed, and the engine light came on. It is available for inspection upon request. 2. It started shaking, slowing down, and it felt like it was going to stall, therefore, putting myself and others at risk. To this day, once in awhile I continue to feel it shake. 3. I've spoken to a mechanic about it, and he knew of this issue. He gave me information about it and referred me to
... the manufacturer. No others have inspected it. 4. The Dept of Motor Vehicles, and it failed inspection today on 7/2/22. 5. Check engine light appeared when the problem first started. They first appeared back around November 2021. Note: The spark plugs and coils were replaced 3 times in an effort to resolve this issue, and after that I found out that there was an issue reported with this back in 2011-2013 and is still occurring even though the company has stated that they fixed the problem according to my research.Read more

There’s a tIck on the engine, sometimes there’s a strong smell of gasoline and idle is rough. There’s been a P0302 code. It’s already been inspected and a lot of components replaced but nothing seems to fix it. After research there’s plenty of people with this same problem apparently caused by premature rocker arms wear.

My 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 has 67,700 miles and about 30 days ago developed a "tick" coming from the engine. After doing a google research, it appears that 2012 Dodge Ram's with the 5.7 HEMI can develop a "tick" ranging from failed manifold bolts to camshaft failure. Incident date: Apr 1, 2022
The passenger side sliding door fails to lock leaving people and property at risk. It is available for inspection. The dealership service department indicated it is the latch system. It had been buzzing on lock prior to failing altogether, this is similar to other issues listed online so I believe the actuator may be involved as well. This appears to be a common problem related to a design flaw.

I believe there should be a recall by Dodge on their Dodge 1500 Laramie Longhorn with the 5.7 Hemi engines. It's really the Hemi exhaust manifold that is the problem. I have this ticking noise which hundreds if not thousands of others also have. Copied from the Internet ** (Broken or loose exhaust manifold bolts (this is the most common answer). I've had my truck diagnosed and this is what
... they say is bad. They will not fix it for no charge. The fix is close to and/or over $1,000. Good reason for the to not admit it's their problem. There should definitely be a Class Action Lawsuit against Dodge. This is a very common problem and because hundreds if not thousands of engines have this issue it should be a RECALL issue. I would hope your organization could do something about this. I don't think it's fair that their mechanical problems they caused are my costly problems. I'll pay for wear and tear and things I've done to my car but they should stand up and take responsibility of their manufactures defects. Please help. [XXX] P.s. Not sure of the date this started but it had about 40,000 miles. Now has 69,000. I've been driving it this way for sometime now but would like to get it fixed. Dodge is denying my request to have them pay for it. We hope you have some clout to get this issue resolved not only for me but for hundreds of others.
