I had 4 Pirelli tires that were down to 3/32 to the point where the threads were showing near the inner sidewall on the tread in under 15000 miles. ... he tread. I brought my vehicle in to the dealership to have an alignment and all specs were in spec which would indicate there shouldn't have been premature or uneven wear on the tire. They did confirm that under 15000 miles is extremely premature for these tires to be worn. The tires have only been inspected by the dealership, nobody else at this time. There were no lights on the dash indicating any sort of issue. I called Pirelli about the issue and they stated that there is no mileage warranty on the tires put on at the time of manufacturing. They stated that this complaint was "definitely not the first they have heard and it is not uncommon for premature wear to occur" but couldn't provide any further comment.Read more

Two separate times 08/23/22 & 10/18/22 at a parking lot, while backing up, the gear shifter lit up, locked, and could not be engaged, and it wouldn't move. The other 3 times the vehicle was moving and it just jumped into neutral with no warning, the cluster flashed messages saying to place gear shifter in park and then back to drive and proceed to acquire service. When this happens, it requires you come to a complete stop which can be really put you in harms way. The cluster lights flashed with warning messages in all of the situations. It happened to me twice 10/24/22 after leaving the dealer on the way home, the service engine light illuminated and remained on. The dealer's service rep said multiple codes were detected by the reader. When we brought it in to the dealer the first time 10/20/22, a total of 27 malfunction codes were in the system. How can that be and not be something serious? The powertrain control module was replaced, but when it happened again 2 more times on Monday, less than 15 min. apart, that didn't fix it. Same thing occurred yesterday that occurred five other times but put us in a dangerous situation. This time we were on a busy four-lane road SR 200 A1A in a 45 mile an hour zone and the vehicle just stopped in the middle of the road lane, locked up we could not move it and it could not be pushed off the road. We were a sitting duck for oncoming traffic and several cars almost failed to stop when approaching us. We have had it less than 3 months and it only has 1700 miles. We are unsafe driving it as this happens randomly and we don't know when or where. If this happens on the interstate or a large bridge we could be killed.Read more

The rear sway bar mount on frame had completely broken off and the sway bar was making a loud clunking sound as we were driving which caused difficulty to control the vehicle. They contacted Chrysler and was told part wouldn't be available for at least a year. Airbags will not deploy if an accident should occur. This is a definite safety issue that should be fixed immediately.

Mechanic, I had used before told me that the TIPM Module was defective and needed replaced. Truck just before the battery died was that not all Eletronic's were working. Through conversations with a Dodge Certified Tech, this is ongoing and known issue with Dodge (RAM) trucks, dodge chargers etc. Curious as to why a safety recall has not been issued, with reports and complaints found online spanning back 2-3 years now. My car, after just 2 years of ownership, the windshield wipers have failed in operation. For 1 month, intermittent wiper functions were non-exis
... tent, 3 clicks would only get me "on all the time, slow speed", nothing else. As of yesterday 11/01/22, when I used turn signals to change lanes on highway, my wipers turned on to slow speed and would not shut off. (Turn signals and wipers on same lever, left side of steering column). I have had to pull the relay/fuse for wipers to get them to shut off. As I understand it, per NC state law, as part of safety inspection, windshield wipers have to be operational for it to be legal on the roadway. So now I am potentially operating a vehicle that should not be on the roadway. Dealership can't get me into a shop until 1 week or more out, no guarantee on parts due to manufacturing delays and backorders. Another note, my car insurance company refuses to allow me a rental vehicle, when I pay hundreds of dollars every year, with no filed claims. This issue should be looked into for a safety recall, with a number of reports being shown, and within some states, legally takes the vehicle off the road, unable to be driven.
