Ever car prior to this has gone at least 120k before needing any brake replacement parts. Is it the ceramic pads leaving material on the rotors, not rotor warp? Due to opening and closing the rear hatch, the wiring harness wires running from the car through the hatch break and fray causing many issues. Had to replace the battery. Turns out the alternator was not charging the battery. I then replaced the alternator. The alternator was contaminated with oil from the VVT. The Variable Valve Timing Solenoid Assembly that is located above the alternator needs to be replaced also. Otherwise the oil leak will damage the alternator again.

Unexpected acceleration ___ While stopped on a slight downgrade, RPM suddenly increased and vehicle lurched forward. Applying more pressure to brake stopped movement. I forced transmission into park. Vehicle had made 3 short trips prior so engine was up to temperature, 35 miles total over 2 hours. Cruise control was not engaged and had not been used in two days. This issue has not been reported to dealer. There were no warning lights or other indications of problems. The vehicle has driven normally since. I have not been able to reproduce the issue. ____ A similar issue happened two months prior. Circumstances were not the same. Intersection was flat, engine was not up to temperature, removing pressure from brake pedal was enough to stop high RPM. Attributed instance to the shoes I was wearing. The running shoes were thicker and wider than I normally wear while driving. I believed I may have pressed both brake and accelerator without realizing it since reducing pressure corrected the problem.Read more

Wanted to report a problem with Tesla's map navigation and adaptive cruise control (what they refer to as "Autopilot). I haven't seen this reported in the media so wanted to report it here. The map navigation system is problematic, when navigating using the map on the freeway, it will reroute a different path because it somehow thinks I am driving on surface streets. It does this consistently.

Electrical: This is a serious safety issue that Dodge will not recognize or even discuss. Getting the window back up is a matter of finessing the "up" switch every which way, multiple attempts required (switch has now fallen out). Very distracting, after going through a toll booth after dark and 15 degrees. You can't stop and F with it, you have to do it on the move. It can take as long as five minutes to get it back up (Window now completely disabled). They will do anything to save seventeen cents per car, who cares if it makes it unsafe for the owner. Not Dodge! I wrote to Dodge (no reply), then the MI Attorney General about this, they responded "We have written to this manufacturer twice and have not received a response". Dodge takes no responsibility for their shoddy work. We pay, we die, they keep doing what they do. It disappoints that even the AG's "Consumer Protection Division" has no teeth. Visibility: It would be interesting to learn how many pedestrians have been hit with this particular model. With all the safety regs out there, it's amazing that a design that blocks visibility gets a pass. Dealer preformed NTB22-084 due to ABS lights. Since this TSB was preformed the ICC fails to brake the vehicle when it is approaching another car. Current stored DTC is C1A13-72.
