The dash has completely desegregated exposing all the wires, air conditioning unit, and airbag parts. This is a huge hazard because my headlight switch hangs with nothing to attach to. It seems GM will only fix this issue if the vehicle within the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. Another vehicle was next to him in the passing lane and was also braking. This was very shocking and disturbing that we narrowly avoided a major crash. We had previously experienced this "phantom braking" during a roadtrip a few weeks ago. At that time, we reported the problem to our Tesla dealer and they sent a technician to our house on Feb 3, 2023. The technician told us that we were experiencing this phantom braking and all of the newer Tesla's had this problem. He assured me that the "engineers" were working on it and would have a solution soon. He further told me that there have been no reports of any accidents, injuries or deaths as a result of this phantom braking problem. That was reassuring at the time. With this latest incident, I find it hard to believe there have been no accidents. The only reason we did not have a bad wreck is because of the skill and attention of the driver behind us. We reported this latest incident to our Tesla dealer and were given the following reply: "As mentioned in the previous messages, unwanted slows do happen and are expected. As we develop the system and the firmware, this will get better over time. At this time, we do not have an immediate resolution for you." I have never experienced a safety issue with a vehicle to the caliber of this magnitude. I am shocked this is allowed and acceptable. I am truly worried for our safety.Read more

The dealer informed the contact that the cold weather had frozen the PCV, which became cluttered and blew out, causing the rear main seal to be blown. At this months regular oils change my current mechanic Dahl ford said the water pump was leaking. The estimated repair is $5000. I paid just to have it diagnosed yesterday as I have not $5000. I followed their advice and parked this. My vehicle is currently not drivable. I investigated and discovered Lincoln Ford has several class action lawsuits filed against them. Many consumers have the water pump problem and unfortunately Lincoln was well informed of this since 2007 and purposely have not fixed the issue. Yet currently many consumers like me are in danger of eminent engine failure and catastrophic failure of Lincoln vehicles. The cost is far more expensive for many and consumers should not be victims of lemons and fraud. Lincoln knew and currently knows of problem. They denied to buy back my vehicle or repair it. The case was just filed yesterday and Lincoln denied it in less than 12 hours. Without any Investigation Or explanation they just told the other department rep to call me back and deny my complaint. I purchased a pair of Treadwright warden tires for the rear of my wife’s truck. In less than 100 miles the tread separated from the casing on one of the tires. I caught it before it completely blew out and have pictures. The replacement they sent has a blown sidewall. I mounted it and a bubble started to form that was 1/2” high and 3” around with just 20psi, operating PSI for the tire is 80P

I told them it is not over lap and showed them multiple pictures of the tire from different angles to prove it has a blown belt. They still insisted it was a serviceable tire. It’s not and I have pictures. I’ve used Treadwright tires for the last 5 or so years. Over the last year and a half to 2 years I’ve received 6 defective tires. All defects were fatal defects, all being broken belts. That’s 1 out of every 4.5 tires purchased. If I’ve received that many fault tires I can be the only one. On top of that the insistence of Treadwright trying to convince people to use fatally defective tires is negligent, reckless and dangerous.Read more

Oct, 2022 my car did not shift out of park so I googled my car and the problem, So it said it was my monostable shifter modular. I towed it to A Transmission mechanic and they did a full body diagnostic test and I was told all I needed was to buy a new transmission shifter modular and a PCM to get my car running again. I did not have the $ 4,200 for them to fix my car so I had it towed back home.

When I call to the dealers the management was a female and told me me my car was to old and they longer work on my car I've been told that several times. The only way to temporarily put it in OFF is to disconnect the battery. When you start the car again, it will turn on but when it's time to turn the vehicle off it will repeat the same problem and stay in ACC and will not allow it to be pushed into OFF mode This has not been inspected by the manufacturer, dealer or insurance company yet. On 129, 2023 I was driving on a highway 40 miles outside of Las Vegas Nevada and my car started shaking horribly and I took the nearest exit and had it towed and had a scan done on it on 1/30/2023. The car has 50,000 miles on it and six months left on the hundred thousand mile powertrain warranty. After paying the $1200 I was told by the dealer not to drive it as it was unsafe and to have it towed. It is now in the hands of a private automotive shop in Henderson Nevada. I am waiting for an additional diagnosis. I have owned this car for three years and only put 12,000 miles on it in that duration. I believe that this is a eco-boost problem as I have been reading about and plan to file a class action or private claim with the Ford motor company. My safety was at risk as I am a 76-year-old senior. I am out over $2000 , just covering the rental and then handing my keys and have used all of my toes with auto club. I would be most appreciative if someone could get back to me at their earliest convenience and advise me how to proceed. This situation has now gone on for two weeks . I have a case number with Ford motors and have made several calls and they tell me the car is not under their powertrain warranty. I believe the dealership was trying to get me to buy a new vehicle from them and offered me $5,800 for a trade in. I refuse to be backed into a corner to buy another vehicle. rear hatch window exploded while the car was not moving for no apparent reason lucky no one was in the rear seats or standing in back of the vehicle at the time otherwise the flying glass would have been an issue.
