The sync3 screen is flashing intermittently. It blacks out for 1 second and comes back on for one second. It continuously does this, and is very distracting while driving down the road. Especially at night. Also I cannot see the rearview camera while backing up the vehicle. I have done research on the problem, and there are numerous other problems just like I'm experiencing.

The clutch has been slipping for a while. Over the last week the situation has become worse. Today the slippage resulted in failing to accelerate ended up in a stall while on the on ramp on a highway and narrowly escaped being rear ended by an 18 wheeler which barely managed to stop 2 feet behind. FCA has issued a recall (software update for fire hazard) which has been completed on this vehicle but in my opinion fire is not the only danger for this defective clutch. Clutch slippage and stalling is also a hazard. When this incident happened, and tried to get more information I realized there is a second recall for the same exact issue which the "software update" was supposed to fix. When the incident happened earlier today, the clutch was extremely hot and while it did not catch fire it slipped and put me in a dangerous situation. All the while the software update did not do anything. I urge NHTSA to force FCA/Stellantis to replace the clucth on all affected vehicles, or reimburse customers who like myself will do so at their own cost.Read more

If, as I suspect the rear brake hoses are made by the same manufacturer as the front hoses it seems logical that the rear hose rupture is also a factory defect that likely should be recalled. So far 3 out of 4 of the brake hoses have been replaced- the front two under NHTSA safety recall for fear of rupture and the right rear for actual dangerous rupture. I am extremely worried about the potential untimely and dangerous rupture of the left rear brake hose. On 4-26-20, I purchased a Ford PremiumCARE extended warranty that is in effect for this vehicle, but so far Ford refuses to cover the right or left rear brake hose under warranty. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau Arbitration Program for Ford over this matter (Attached).Read more

No where in the agreements that customers signed did it acknowledge that we would be prioritized by GMC in order for them to make new vehicle sales over the increased safety risks. I drive a GMC HD (3500) which has significant blind spots and Increased safety risks to pedestrians as a result of no warning detection systems during parking in lots and on streets. I would like to have this risk mitigated by having GMC honor the agreements and commitments to its customers by providing the Micro Chips required to fulfill these safety requirements ahead of new sales, so no injuries or loss of life are sustained as a result of this profit over safety stance that GMC has adopted. A message appeared telling me to lower and raise the driver's side window. I came to a complete stop. Even though the electronics returned, I had to restart the engine. I put the vehicle in park, turn it off with my key, then start it again with the key, all while stopped on a very busy highway. I was able to drive the vehicle home with no further issues. I have not contacted the dealership yet, as they are currently closed as I write this. I will be contacting them and informing them of the issue. I had mentioned a similar issue to the dealership a few years ago. They made a report of the incident, but said there is nothing they can do if they cannot replicate it. This is very dangerous. Losing all electronic functions, including the ability to steer and having the engine die while driving is scary. I can lose the ability to guide my truck and crash the vehicle into something or someone. This puts my family at risk and anyone else on highway that may be in proximity. There is no telling when this will take place. I have had electrical issues randomly happen while starting the vehicle, but not while driving. The problems with my vehicle started in late 2019 or early 2020 when I was driving with my family on the highway. It felt as if the car was about to fall to a sudden stop, and the speed suddenly started decreasing, and eventually the vehicle couldn’t go over 60 miles/ hour and dropping even lower. That problem created a safety hazard to me and my family since we were driving on the highway and were hundreds of miles away from our destination. After months of not being able to drive the car and having the same problems, I took the vehicle back to the dealer’s service center and had paid them to have some repairs done. However, after a few days, the same issue started again, and had to get it repaired again. The same problems persisted, and after consulting with the technicians, I was told that the dealer had contacted Hyundai and that it is a manufacturing defect and Hyundai needs to change the engine since all the many repairs that had been done but did not solve the known issues. They had reassured me that because I have always kept with regular maintains of my vehicle through the affiliated Hyundai dealers and should have no problems getting the engine replaced. The engine still has not been replaced, all the while I am still paying car insurance on the vehicle. I have bled enough money on a vehicle that I am not be able to drive. After my test, here's what I found: If the cruise control is Off and you press and hold the cruise control button for more than 2 seconds, the speed limit function activates as indicated by the "Limit" indicator on the multi-function display. ... hicle exceeds the limit speed, a warning bell will sound, and the speed will flash and power is cut when pressing on the gas. If the cruise control is ON, and you press and keep holding the cruise control button, sometimes the car will begin to slow below the set speed and continue to slow, even after releasing the cruise control button, and sometimes the cruise control will remain engaged after releasing the button. In this scenario, if you press on the gas to accelerate, the power is cut out and nothing happens even though you are below the limit speed. To restore power, you have to press and release the cruise control button to deactivate the cruise control. It's as though the cruise control gets into a mode where it won't hold speed, and pressing on the gas does nothing. This seems like a software bug. The above scenarios only happen when the cruise control is ON. Power is always available when the cruise control indicates that it is not activated or when in "Normal" (non-limit) mode when active. It seems counterintuitive that accelerating manually by pressing on the gas is overridden when in the "Limit" mode. I don't know if this is a design feature or a flaw. The headlights are so dim that the Cadillac SRX is unsafe to drive at night. The dealer says that it is a known defect but will only give a small discount to replace the headlight assemblies. The passenger head rest popped/exploded and juts forward and will not close back. I was advised that it is an airbag recall issue. However after checking my vin nothing is shown listed here. On a google search it says there is a ten year unlimited mile recall.

The van will randomly shut off while driving. it may happen out of the blue while on the highway, hitting a bump, or even driving at slow speeds. The instrument panel remains on, I can put the van in neutral while still moving and restart the van. Sometimes it happens multiple times a week, sometimes it happens only a few months. There are no check engine light on or anything else.

As I look I see that this is in investigation already and needs to be took into consideration as soon as possible if our lives really matter to Kia as your customers .
