On July 3rd I was driving on the highway, and the Jeep went into limp mode. When it ran out of the electric charge, it didn’t switch over to the gas engine and became un-drivable. I brought it to a Jeep service center and they kept it until July 7th. They were not able to figure out why that happened, but obviously it is part of the recall.

... econd time as I'm driving I lose the ability to accelerate at all and no matter what I do the car will slow almost every warning light on the dash comes on and there are 11 different warnings I've uploaded photos of a few I have a video though also and you lose complete power and ability to drive warning lights such as power steering problem emissions problem powertrain problem all of those are part of what turns on if you try to move the vehicle it will not move unless it is an EV mode and even then it only works for several feet but you can't get over a few miles per hour if you are on the highway like I was going 65 mph and there's traffic is extremely dangerous the only reason I was not hit was because I turn my emergency lights on and was able to maneuver my vehicle to the shoulder safely had I been in a more busy section of the road or had I been in an area where I could not get off the road I would have been hit by another vehicle. Honda has stated they can't find anything wrong with the vehicle but a quick Google search shows that this is a common issue and I have a video of the dash with all the warning lights should anyone need it as well as photos.Read more

There were no dashboard alerts, drivetrain warnings, AWD system warnings, or check engine lights indicating that the AWD system had failed. The vehicle continued to operate and display information as if everything was functioning normally. This occurred during the winter in New York while driving in snowy conditions, where the AWD system is critical for traction and safety. Because there was no warning that the AWD system had failed, I continued driving the vehicle assuming it still had AWD capability. On multiple occasions the vehicle became stuck in snow due to the loss of rear-wheel power. A critical drivetrain component such as a transfer case should not fail under normal driving conditions at this mileage. Additionally, a vehicle equipped with AWD should provide a clear warning to the driver if the system is no longer functioning. The absence of any warning combined with a sudden loss of AWD capability creates a serious safety concern, particularly in winter climates where drivers rely on AWD for traction and control. A subsequent Honda dealership evaluation confirmed this as a PERMANENT DTC, meaning the fault existed across multiple drive cycles prior to purchase and prior to the failure event. I am aware that Honda previously acknowledged this transmission defect in 2016-2017 Honda Pilots and extended the warranty to 150,000 miles. This vehicle failed at 152,848 miles.... just 2,848 miles beyond that threshold. Honda USA denied goodwill assistance based solely on mileage. A permanent fault code cannot be cleared by battery disconnect. The defect was pre-existing at time of sale. The dealer listed the vehicle as having "No Issues." The dangerous transmission behavior at highway speed represents a serious ongoing public safety risk for any owner of an affected vehicle. I am requesting formal investigation and recall consideration for this known defect. Two independent repair facilities have confirmed transmission replacement is required. Estimated repair cost: $5,374 to $7,000. The dealership explained that the failed injector may have caused improper fuel delivery and contributed to damage to the catalytic converter. The dealer also indicated that similar fuel injector failures are addressed in Honda Service Bulletin 21-010 for this model year. However, my vehicle was not included in the VIN range covered by the bulletin even though it is a 2019 model and uses the same fuel injector part number referenced in the bulletin. The issue was confirmed by an authorized Honda dealership and the recommended repair was replacement of the fuel injector kit and catalytic converter. Honda corporate declined to fully cover the repair costs despite the similarity to the known issue described in the service bulletin. In early September 2025, I leased a 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV. Unfortunately, the vehicle has already been in the dealership service department three separate times since I took delivery. The first two service visits occurred after the vehicle completely bricked and would not turn on. I was informed that the vehicle’s electronic module required updating and that the batteries had repeatedly
... died. Most recently, the situation has escalated to a significant safety concern. Earlier this week, the vehicle began shaking and intermittently accelerating and decelerating on its own while in operation(I have video proof of this) This behavior poses a serious danger to me and to others on the road. Due to these ongoing issues, I filed a formal complaint with Stellantis and was assigned case number [XXX]. I have been working with Stellantis representative Steve Stander; however, communication has been extremely difficult. Unfortunately, Mr. Stander has not been responsive to phone calls or emails in a timely manner, which has made resolving this matter challenging. At this time, the vehicle is once again in the shop, leaving me without transportation. During our last discussion, Mr. Stander acknowledged that Stellantis understands the vehicle is not dependable and offered $10,000 in down payment assistance along with employee pricing on a new Stellantis product. However, I currently still owe approximately $3,400 on the lease. Given the serious safety issues and repeated failures of the vehicle, I am requesting Stellantis’ assistance in grounding the lease and covering the remaining $3,400 balance so that I may exit this lease. I also previously sent Mr. Stander a video clearly showing the vehicle accelerating on its own to document the issue. I would greatly appreciate your help in resolving this matter as quickly as possible. It is urgent that I be able to safely exit this vehicle situation. A mechanic at professional auto shop diagnosed the failed TIPM. It caused the fuel sending pump in the fuel tank to stop pumping. This is a fairly new SUV and front turn signals are out. This puts me in danger of having to turn and other drivers not aware. It is not a simple bulb fix. All have to be removed. The vehicle was subsequently taken to an independent mechanic on several occasions, where it was diagnosed and determined that there were failures with Oxygen sensors, head gaskets, oil pan, oil pump, B2S1 heater, that the intake manifold was cracked, there was cylinder #2 misfire, and the circuit harness needed to be repaired, and DTC: P0300 was retrieved.
