The dash will completely go black except for red words *no signal.* and all warnings are no longer visible, I cannot tell what speed I’m going, or what percentage battery my car is at. I don’t see visible lane or collision warnings. It is very unsafe and I have been to the dealership twice to try and fix it. The issue returned both times.

The contact owns a 2025 Subaru Forester. The contact stated that a few days after the dealer had serviced the vehicle under NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V106000(Fuel System, Gasoline), the contact refueled the vehicle at the gas station. The contact stated that upon entering the store and returning to the vehicle, the contact noticed both a strong fuel odor and fuel leaking from the fuel tank onto the
... ground. The contact used soap and water to clean up the area. The vehicle was driven and parked outside the residence's garage. The contact stated that if the fuel leak had gone unnoticed, the vehicle would have been parked inside the garage near a water heater's open flame, leading to a catastrophic fire that could have affected both the contact's family and nearby neighbors. The contact attempted to reach the dealer to report the failure, but had not yet received a return call. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and filed a case. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 2,700.Read more

The affected component is the powertrain system in my 2020 Ford EcoSport. The vehicle has experienced repeated powertrain-related failures and is available for inspection upon request. In May 2025, the vehicle required a full engine replacement, yet I am continuing to experience serious powertrain-related issues. The vehicle has displayed powertrain malfunction warnings and has experienced improp
... er acceleration, hesitation, loss of power, and instances where the vehicle has stopped at intersections. These issues create a serious safety risk because the vehicle may not respond when acceleration is needed, including when entering traffic, turning, merging, or attempting to avoid hazards. A vehicle that loses power or stops unexpectedly at intersections creates a risk of collision and puts myself, my passengers, and other motorists in danger. This issue has occurred multiple times and has required repeated service attention. The vehicle is scheduled to be inspected again due to the ongoing powertrain failure concern. Despite significant repairs, including a complete engine replacement, the underlying issue appears to remain unresolved. Prior to the failures, the vehicle displayed warning messages related to the powertrain system. The symptoms have included reduced acceleration, hesitation, loss of power, and the vehicle stopping unexpectedly while driving. The vehicle has been inspected by Ford service providers, including the prior engine replacement performed in May 2025. I am submitting this complaint because repeated powertrain failures, loss of acceleration, and unexpected stopping while operating the vehicle present a significant safety concern. I believe this issue warrants investigation to determine whether there is a broader defect affecting 2020 Ford EcoSport vehicles.Read more

We were notified by Toyota that it was unsafe to transport our children in the second row seats in November 2025 and the vehicle was under a recall. This puts our children at risk such that we cannot use the vehicle for its intended purpose, namely, transporting our three young children. A letter from NHTSA stated Toyota would have a remedy by 12/6. The manufacturer (Toyota) confirmed this recall.
... Given that Toyota has not indicated a solution date for this and the problem was discovered in October 2025 I believe the manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for our vehicle in a timely manner and would like to officially log a complaint with NHTSARead more

I was involved in a front-end motor vehicle collision while driving straight through an intersection. Another vehicle entered perpendicular to my path and stopped directly in front of me, resulting in a collision primarily impacting the front-left (driver’s side) of my vehicle. The impact appeared significant, and the front airbags did not deploy. Additionally, there appeared to be a partial or
... unclear deployment of the passenger-side airbag system, which did not resemble a full and typical deployment. The vehicle sustained substantial front-end damage, particularly on the driver’s side. I am concerned that the airbag system may not have functioned as expected for the severity and nature of the crash. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed to determine whether the airbag system, sensors, or deployment logic performed within appropriate safety standards. No warning lights or prior issues with the airbag system were observed prior to the incident.Read more

Incident date: Feb 20, 2026
To the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration I am submitting this formal safety complaint regarding a persistent and dangerous pattern of mechanical and electronic failures in my 2025 Hyundai Elantra N. These issues have rendered the vehicle unsafe for regular operation on public highways. The safety concerns began at 2810 miles when the vehicle first showed signs of structural and electr
... onic instability. Since that initial mileage the vehicle has demonstrated a progressive inability to maintain its steering and alignment specifications which has led to unpredictable and hazardous driving conditions. By 16550 miles the steering issues became severe. The vehicle intermittently began to dart to the left or right without driver input. A diagnostic alignment check at that time confirmed multiple values were out of specification including the right front and right rear toe. These red zone readings were documented by the dealership machinery but the root cause was not corrected. Along with the steering failures the electronic systems began to malfunction. The steering wheel buttons and drive mode memory settings started resetting randomly which prevents the driver from reliably controlling vehicle configurations. As of February 28 2026 at 18037 miles the condition of the vehicle has deteriorated further. The steering system is now physically incapable of holding factory specifications for more than 30 days. In the last 1487 miles the alignment shifted from the right side of the car to the left side with the left front and left rear toe now showing failing red values. This mechanical instability causes the vehicle to wander and pull aggressively. Most critically the electronic safety systems are now failing. The Lane Keep Assist functionality frequently deactivates itself without warning or external cause. When this safety feature shuts down it often coincides with the car darting toward other lanes.Read more

My jeep steering wheel and entire vehicle shake violently at high speeds and after a bump.
Incident date: Oct 26, 2025
This complaint involves a 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L Series III, a full-size luxury SUV. The vehicle has experienced repeated electrical and powertrain failures culminating in complete loss of propulsion. On 01/22/2026, while traveling approximately 45–50 mph, the vehicle abruptly shut down without warning. The engine lost power, dashboard displays went black, and multiple warning lights illumi
... nated simultaneously. I was forced to steer to the shoulder while a trailing vehicle had to swerve off the roadway to avoid a collision. This was a near-miss event and represents a serious safety hazard involving sudden loss of motive power at highway speed. Prior to that event, the vehicle had already stalled at a traffic light and had exhibited repeated check engine warnings, low-voltage faults, and module communication errors. The servicing dealer documented multiple diagnostic trouble codes affecting the Body Control Module (BCM), Ignition System Control Module (ISCM), and Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Manufacturer technical service bulletin software updates were applied in attempts to correct the issue. Despite these interventions, the electrical instability persisted. On 02/12/2026, only days after an auxiliary battery replacement intended to address voltage concerns, the vehicle would not start and required towing to the dealership at my expense. Additional fault codes are currently under review. The vehicle is also subject to an open recall with no remedy available, and the power running board motor has failed with replacement parts unavailable. This pattern of electrical failure, sudden shutdown in motion, and inability to reliably start presents an ongoing and unacceptable safety risk to occupants and surrounding motorists. The vehicle is available for inspection and has been repeatedly evaluated by an authorized dealer.Read more

My 2025 Chevrolet Equinox (VIN: [XXX] ) was at Island Chevrolet from Thursday, June 26, 2025, through Monday, July 14, 2025, due to the transmission seizing. The vehicle was not even a year old at the time, as I purchased it in April 2025. Today, [XXX], my Equinox is at Freehold Buick because the OnStar hardware has failed. There is currently no estimated time of arrival for the replacement parts
... . The OnStar hardware controls critical vehicle functions, including diagnostics, automatic crash response, navigation, and remote commands such as remote start and door locking. A known issue with this OnStar failure is that the vehicle’s battery can drain as the system continuously attempts to reconnect. concerns regarding my 2010 Ford Escape. Within thirty (30) days of purchase, the transmission completely failed, rendering the vehicle inoperable. Additionally, upon further inspection, it was discovered that the entire underbody of the vehicle is severely rusted and corroded. This corrosion appears extensive enough to compromise the structural integrity of the frame and essential safety component
... s. While operating the vehicle prior to transmission failure, I also experienced significant shaking and vibration during both driving and braking. These issues raise major safety concerns, as they could indicate underlying brake, suspension, or frame instability. Given the combination of a failed transmission, extensive underbody rust, and unsafe driving behavior, I believe this vehicle may present a serious risk to myself and others on the road. These types of defects and corrosion levels are unusual for a vehicle of this make and model and could point to a broader safety or manufacturing issue. I am requesting that Ford review this matter urgently and provide direction on possible inspection, repair, or compensation options. I am more than willing to provide documentation, photos, or mechanic reports to assist in your evaluation. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. The coil packs of the 2020 model have gotten a reputation for going out with no warning. It often happens well driving. In my case, two went bad and I had to limp home. Riding like this can further damage the engine. In some cases this happens to people when they are far away from any place and can end up stranded. A quick Google search of this model in year and coil packs will yield thousands of
... forum posts stating the problem and questions of why BMW has not done more to fix this. They have since changed the coil pack and the ones they put on that biker no longer available. The replacement sell from BMW for $200 each. If you don't replace all four, then you're just biting time till the next one goes out. This issue often happens and bikes with less than 10,000 miles. Mine for example has 9500. Since I live in a part of the country that has winter, I cannot ride the bike year around and my bike is out of warranty even though it has under 10,000 miles on it. I have yet to get it to a dealer because the closest one is 3 hours away and I do not have a trailer. The bike cannot be ridden. I will manage to get it there however I cannot get the dealership to call me back regarding this matter. I have enlisted the help of BMW which is reluctant to say they can do anything but we'll absolutely do nothing until I get it to the dealer for them to verify the problem. I'm not a novice mechanic when it comes to motorcycles. I determined that the one and two cylinders are both dead. The dealer will charge the price for the coil packs plus a slightly unreasonable service charge. The end result will be more than a couple thousand dollars for me to get the bike there and pay for the bill. And that is conservative. It is an acknowledged problem among writers and semi acknowledged by the manufacturer. Not sure where this goes from here.Read more

On two separate occasions, the screen went completely black while driving, leaving all critical driving information inaccessible. This malfunction pos
... es a significant risk to my safety and the safety of others, as I was unable to monitor the vehicle’s speed or system status while driving. Availability for Inspection: The malfunctioning component (information screen/system) is available for inspection upon request. Safety Risk: This issue compromised my ability to safely operate the vehicle. Without visibility of the speedometer, driving system indicators, or signal lights, I was unable to monitor crucial driving functions. This increased the risk of speeding unknowingly and reduced my ability to respond to surrounding traffic, creating a dangerous situation on the road. Reproduction of the Problem: The issue has occurred twice. While I have not yet had it reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or service center, I am aware that other KIA EV9 owners have reported the same issue, indicating it is not an isolated case. Inspection by Others: To date, the vehicle has not been inspected by KIA, law enforcement, insurance representatives, or other authorities regard Please find below links to forums and websites where other KIA EV9 shared about this issue. 1- [XXX] - [XXX] - [XXX] - [XXX] Here is the video of the incident. It is currently still in the Ford dealership shop. They gave us a rental car, thinking it was a faulty Electronic brake booster controller. Still waiting on ETR. My wife and I couldn't be more grateful that this happened in our driveway; this could have been a serious accident if it was to occur on the freeway.Read more

We moved over to the right and the lane assist pulled us into a curb. We ended up in a roll over accident and NO air bags opened or went off.
