Ever since I bought this vehicle 75% of the time I put the vehicle in park and turn the car off the “shift to park” warning light comes on and I have to jiggle the gear shift until it goes off and allows the car to turn off. This can take up to 10 min or sometimes starting the car and turning it off works but that is less times than not. This has been ongoing since I have owned the car.

The vehicle does not brake normally, and the brake pedal must be pressed completely down to the floor, or pumped repeatedly before the vehicle begins to slow, and when it does slow, the brakes are less than responsive. ... nd pressing the brakes all the way to the floor, the vehicle does not stop normally, and I've come dangerously close to being involved in a collision as a result. I've reported these issues to Jeep in the past when the vehicle was there for service, but it was not adequately evaluated. I replaced both front and rear brake pads and rotors, only to have the issue continue. On 6/27/23 when my vehicle was in the body shop for unrelated repairs, the body shop conducted a brake diagnosis and confirmed the stiff break pedal when attempting to brake. They verified the appropriate vacuum at brake booster and vacuum sensor, and disconnected the brake booster sensor and smoke tested the brake booster to find smoke leaking into the main cabin area. They recommended replacing the brake booster assembly with water shed per TSB, and re-checking. They noted that the Vacuum brake booster has failed, and TSB is available in regards to installing water shield with new brake booster, under safety recall T59/NHTSA 17V-572. Once body work was completed, we took the vehicle to Perkins Jeep for the open recalls and requested repair of the brake booster, but were told this isn't a Jeep problem, and that it should have been taken care of at the body shop under insurance-- even though this brake issue was pre-existing to the body damage to the vehicle. Jeep states they do not have the OEM parts to repair this issue and other open recalls at this time, and there is a waiting list.Read more

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid will lose all power while driving. I have had it back to the Dealer for this Problem. I got a Recall for this in April. I took it in to the Dealer to do. They told me that Chrysler does not have a fix for this yet. Within 400 miles after that it done it again while my wife was driving and caused a crash.

I was driving this vehicle, a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid this evening, July 7th. The battery was operating on a charge of 1% and the gas tank was 1/3 full. I charged the battery earlier this morning but only for several minutes. This is a rental vehicle I have used for the last week with no problems. ... pm, I drove no more than several miles and received a warning that I needed to pull over “immediately” and that a vehicle shutdown was “imminent.” I did so and turned off the vehicle. I turned it on again and the “Check engine” light was on but the notice I received earlier was gone. I was able to drive the rest of the way home which was about 10 miles. I searched the vehicle and VIN later and determined this vehicle was under NHTSA Recall # 23V-010 which had been completed. Issues with Ford Sync Infotainment system have been occurring for over a year now, with the latest being on May 25th. Backup camera stays on when in drive, and then turns to a blue or black screen that says contact dealer. GPS will fail randomly and will show my vehicle driving off roads and not following the route I am driving. A/C will randomly stop working and show a Fan Speed of 0 no matter ho
... w many times you try to increase the fan speed, then once you are able to adjust the fan speed after restarting the car it will only blow very hot air at any temperature setting except in Max A/C. Which even in Max A/C the air coming out is not very cold. The backup camera staying on is dangerous you are not able to control any other functions of your vehicle because the vehicle believes its still in reverse, and at night when the screen is bright blue it impairs visibility. The GPS failure does not allow for proper navigation when traveling. The A/C issue is dangerous during the summer time when you are unable to cool your vehicle with passengers, especially young children from the over 100F temperatures you can experience during the summer. The dealership has seen the A/C issue, and I have videos of the backup camera and GPS issues. Dealership has inspected the vehicle and has been unable to diagnose the issue. They have reset and updated the software, but issues are still intermittent. Multiple calls with Ford and they are unable to provide additional assistance without there being any fault codes or the issue being present. When the A/C issue was present at the dealership, they were unable to diagnose the issue and Ford did not respond back to customer service inquiries to know who at Ford to contact for additional support. No warning signs about the issues. Will just happen randomly at times with no advance warning of anything happening. Most of the time the issues happen after starting the vehicle, but A/C and GPS issues have occurred during middle of a drive.Read more
