The car randomly gives a warning on the dashboard in red, with red turtle symbol, to pull over and stop safely. A lot of the time we will be on the highway and can't pull over safely. It happens at any speed. 25, 80, 65, etc. It's been happening since we got the vehicle in 2023 and no dealership understands what the issue is even though there are clearly recall repairs for other same make and mode
... l of other years surrounding this 2022 model. They keep saying its Keysense but its not locked for speed and that doesnt make sense because it doesnt happen at a high speed only, it happens randomly even in town going slow. They've done the "software update" a fee times, but it's clearly the same problem as the others with the wiring harness. That part needs to be replaced because the patch software fix isn't a solution and its definitely not a safe solution at that.Read more

Description of Incident: On February 15, 2026, my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid experienced three distinct and severe safety system failures involving the electrical system, power seats, and the power sliding door. Power Sliding Door Sensor Failure: While my minor son was entering the vehicle, the power sliding door closed on his leg. The pinch sensor failed to detect the obstruction and did not r

Unintended Passenger Seat Motion: While the vehicle was stationary, the front passenger power seat moved forward to its maximum limit without user input. I was seated in the chair at the time and was pinned against the dashboard before I could intervene. Electrical Shock: My minor daughter received a perceptible electric shock upon touching the exterior door-handle button to open the sliding door. Components Involved: Electrical System Seats (Power) Sliding Door (Power) Injuries: Yes (Soft tissue bruising/marks to minor’s leg). Risk to Safety: Had the driver's seat moved forward without input while the vehicle was in motion, this absolutely could result in loss of control of the vehicle and an accident. Had the sliding side door continued to close on my son's leg, it could have caused severe injury. Had the electrical shock been worse, it could have resulted in burn or injury. The vehicle is available for inspection. It has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance. The issues have not repeated at this point, although the vehicle was not used the last 12 days. I do not have confidence in its electrical components. [XXX] Message says warning "check ev system". they then sent a letter saying it had to go to the dealer, or the car would need A tow potentially. I am reporting new issues with my 2025 Toyota Camry that started immediately after the dealer completed the rear-camera recall service. 1. Right-Side Wheel Housing / Suspension Problem Since the recall, the right side of the car makes a loud noise whenever I drive over small bumps or uneven roads. It may be related to the shock absorber possibly leaking fluid, but the exact cause is UNKNOWN. •T
... he part is available for inspection. •This raises a safety concern because it affects stability and may indicate a failing suspension component. •No warning lights appeared. 2. Infotainment Screen Glitch / Electrical Issue After the recall work, the infotainment screen began glitching every time I start the vehicle, and while driving it sometimes shows a large red line across the entire screen. •The issue happens randomly but consistently. •It is distracting and may indicate an electrical or software malfunction caused during the recall repair. •No warning messages appeared before the screen failure. 3. Inspection Status The vehicle has NOT yet been inspected for these new issues by Toyota or any third party. The problems did not exist before the recall and began immediately afterward, although the exact cause is UNKNOWN. I request a full investigation and inspection for safety concerns.Read more

Date: February 22, 2026 VIA CERTIFIED MAIL FCA US LLC Customer Care P.O. Box 21-8004 Auburn Hills, MI 48321-8004 RE: FORMAL COMPLAINT – Safety Defect (Rearview Camera Failure) Vehicle 1: 2012 Chrysler 300S (VIN: [XXX] ) Vehicle 2: 2018 Chrysler 300S (VIN: [XXX] ) To the Chrysler Customer Care Team: I am a loyal, multi-vehicle Chrysler owner currently residing in San Diego County. I am writing to
... formally report a persistent and dangerous safety defect affecting both of my Chrysler 300S vehicles. Description of Defect: In both vehicles, the factory-installed backup camera has failed completely. When the vehicles are shifted into reverse, the infotainment screen remains blank or black. This failure significantly reduces rearward visibility, creating a severe safety risk for pedestrians and property, especially given the known blind spots of the 300S model. Legal and Safety Context: As you are aware, Chrysler has issued multiple recent recalls (including Recall 24V-436) regarding rearview camera software failures. Furthermore, for the 2018 model, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 111 mandates a functional rear visibility system. The identical failure across two different model years suggests a fundamental defect in the camera hardware or wiring harnesses used in this vehicle line. Requested Resolution: As a long-term supporter of the Chrysler brand, I am requesting a Goodwill Repair for both vehicles. I ask that Chrysler authorize a local authorized dealer in San Diego (Chula Vista/National City) to inspect and repair these camera systems at no cost to me. Please respond to this request in writing within 10 business days. I have also opened a report with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to document these failures. While driving my 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, the vehicle repeatedly displays diagnostic trouble code P2138 (Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor Voltage Correlation). When the issue happens, the vehicle will not pro
... perly accelerate and loses power unexpectedly. This creates a serious safety hazard, especially in highway traffic, as I am unable to maintain speed or accelerate to avoid other vehicles. I have had to maneuver carefully or move toward the shoulder to avoid potential collisions. The throttle body has already been replaced; however, the problem continues to occur. The defect has not been corrected and remains ongoing and reproducible. I am currently [XXX] pregnant and drive this vehicle daily for work and to transport my [XXX] child to school. The unexpected loss of power places both myself and my child at risk while operating the vehicle in active traffic. This defect presents a significant safety concern due to repeated and sudden loss of engine power while driving. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. After owning this Telluride for a year the engine started stalling. I took it into the nearest Oil change company, and they informed me that the oil was completely out and dry. I always stay up to date with my oil changes, so this was a huge shock. There was no light that ever came on stating an oil concern and there was no light that came on even when the engine stalled. This company sent me dir
... ectly to Kia stating they have seen this several times with this vehicle and they have oil consumption issues. I went to Kia and they had me do the oil consumption test. When completed they stated I was within the "standard" oil consumption levels. I asked why the car didn't even have an oil light or engine light come on as a warning and they had no answers for me. Had a light come on I would've taken it to be looked at prior to having the engine stall on me which was a major safety issue. Fast forward, I ended up and purchased another car and gave the Telluride to my husband. I drive a lot for work and he doesn't, so it made more sense to help with the oil. We are now having to put at least 3 quarts of oil in it in between oil changes. And he has still experienced the engine puttering. Both times with our kids in the car, steering becomes difficult and he has to pull off the road. Once he turns it off and restarts, it seems to be fine. Another mechanic told us that they anticipate a recall to come out with the 2021 Telluride soon since they have already recalled previous years for the same issues. It is absurd to have to put in 3 quarts of oil in between oil changes. The fact that no warning lights have ever come on is safety concern. The car randomly stalling is a safety concern. Kia needs to do something about this before someone gets injured.Read more

Q: What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? A: ICCU failed - Not available for inspection (at least at this time, but willing to try and make it work). Q: How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? A: The ICCU (Integrated Charging Control Unit) is a safety-critical component subject to federal recalls 24V-204 and 24V-868. (
... My vehicle had all recalls performed prior to this failure.) The failure occurred while driving which was indicated by a “popping” sound. It is contextually important to note that the ICCU is responsible for charging the 12v battery, had the 12v battery failed during the duration of my drive I would have experienced a sudden loss of motive power. A sudden loss of motive power is an unacceptable risk to public safety. Q: Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? A: Yes, the problem has been reproduced and confirmed to be an ICCU failure by an official Hyundai service center. Q: Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? A: No. Q: Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? A: Symptoms first appeared February 14, 2026. The first symptom of failure was the signature “pop” sound that the ICCU failure is known for. Only after my drive and upon attempting L1/L2 charging did my dash warning indicate “Check Electric Vehicle System.” I also checked for codes with my OBDII scanner, and it showed no codes.Read more
