I stopped at the red light at the corner of [XXX] and noticed a large red circle with a "Check electrical system" warning on the driver's display screen. I then pushed the "EV START STOP" switch to see if I could cycle the vehicle off and then back on to clear the problem. The switch had no effect. [XXX] is a busy four-lane, undivided street near the University of Colorado at Boulder campus. I selected the hazard flashers and called 911 to alert the Boulder Police Department that I was in a car that was immobilized in the middle of the right-hand northbound lane. Cars had to swerve to avoid me. The Police Department dispatched a vehicle that arrived 10 minutes later, pulled up behind me, and put its flashing lights on to alert traffic. While waiting for the tow truck, I received another alert on the driver's display that informed me that the 12-volt battery was nearly completely discharged, and I had 10 minutes of power left. The warning counted the remaining minutes to 0, and the displays shut down. From the first warning message to the shutdown, I could not turn the car system off or shift the car out of the park. The tow company had to put dollies under the rear wheels of the Ioniq 5 and lift the front end off the ground to tow the vehicle, as all four wheels were locked. The car was towed to Crossroads Hyundai in Loveland, Colorado. It had just been serviced to address all the recall issues, including the ICCU software update. Recall list says everything was repaired, but it seems there needs to be more recalls. These vans are not safe. Recall them all. Chrysler is going to end up with a lawsuit. I think this is a major defect on the electrical and computer systems. When driving the van it will show I'm doing 70 but really 35mph. The van will rough idle. Again these are all intermittent issues that happen all at once. It seems like the van will reset itself once it's sat overnight. Fast forward to September 18, 2024, I once again called the dealership and was told the same thing I was told earlier this year. No part available and no estimate as to when one will become available. I then called Acura corporate. Corporate Acura contacted the dealership on a threeway and asked the same question, and were told by the dealership they were waiting on corporate to make parts available. The threeway call signaled to me, that corporate Acura has not kept their own network of dealerships adequately informed, much less their customers. I then contacted Acura Customer Care and the representative informed me because my airbag light is not actively on, there is no available part nor an estimate as to when one will become available. Acura and Honda have known about this recall for at least 7 seven months and have failed to keep their consumers apprised of updates (leaving the onus on the vehicle owners) and more frustratingly, cannot manage to provide estimates as to when parts will become available. Given Acura's lack of timeliness in remedying the recall, I kindly request NHTSA look into their mishandling of this longstanding recall. Thank you for your consideration.Read more

A combination of the lower control arm alignment adjustment bolt, it is just a slot and standard bolt. When Engine goes idle during the brief traffic stop, Collision mitigation warning shows on and goes off quickly, sometimes causes the engine to not turn on during the times. Problem is so intermittent and hard to track as it is random behaviour and comes on for milli seconds in terms of warning on the dash board.

My vehicle was performing great - no Issues what so ever until FCA performed Recall 03A. After I had FCA US LLC Recall 03A for Loss of Motive Power installed; my vehicle had several issues the same day I picked it up from the Dealer. They stated it was ready for pickup even with all my issues and they new I had ½ of them and still turned it over to me. . 50 % of the issues are still waiting to be

After 1 year of them trying to get the vehicle back to the condition I turned it in before for the Recall - Chrysler refuses to replace the HV battery under the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. They will not let anyone order the part even the dealer can not. To order the bad part Chrysler STAR (FCAs part replacement approval authority) has to Approve it. They say they won't replace it due to normal degradation. I was getting 30 miles per full charge and after the Recall I was only getting18-20 Miles per full charge. That is Not normal degradation. Now I only get 17-18 miles per charge. They Degraded my battery with their Recall. The battery degraded by 33% in 2 weeks – that is Not normal their Recall caused it. I feel someone needs to enforce them to put my vehicle back the the same as I turned it over to them September 26, 2023 at their Expense no matter what it takes. The following is the list of issues in the past year because of Recall 03A. Basically my vehicle was in the shop for repairs Almost the Entire year! 1. Engine Lite is on all the time since Recall. 2.
