I used to drive my car back-and-forth to work and that was 45 minutes one way For about a year, but other than that we have not drove the car except for a few times maybe three hours away for vacation we’ve also changed the spark plugs. This will be the second time we changed the serpentine belt. We’ve changed the air filter multiple times which we’re supposed to do that Spark plugs shouldn’t have to be changed until 100,000 miles. I’m wondering why now I’m having trouble steering the car and while it’s shaking while it’s idling and idling rough, so we’ve done everything that we’re supposed to do dealership is no help at all. When I purchased my Jeep from Westgate Jeep in Raleigh, NC in late September 2024 at 84,000 miles the TSB had not been completed by the original owner. The Jeep is lifted but was sold to the original owner in that manner. It is a Rocky Ridge package that was sold the way it still is to the original owner. My safety and the safety of my family is at risk in the vehicle because it wanders excessively in the road. The incident consisted of passing 18 wheeler driving by in the opposite direction causing the Jeep to wander excessively to the right off of the edge of the road causing near loss of control and potential roll over. The issue has been found by my certified mechanic to be related to excessive movement/flexing in the steering gear box. The mechanic drove the vehicle and also noticed the wandering steering. FCA/Jeep should not be allowed to refuse to repair such a significant known issue with vehicles that they manufactured with defective parts they should be held accountable and made to recall and repair those defective parts. There are no active warning lights on the vehicle and a recent alignment was done by a certified mechanic when the tie rod and tie rod ends, drag link and drag link ends, ball joints and steering dampener where replaced. All tires are balanced and have equal wear the steering gear box is the only component of the steering system that has not been replaced and the issue remains. ... austin Texas at approximately 25-30 mph the vehicle suddenly and forcefully braked on its own with no warning and no visible obstacle or vehicle in front of me. This unexpected braking occurred under normal driving conditions, with clear weather and dry pavement, and almost caused a collision with the vehicle behind me. No warning lights appeared on the dashboard, and no manual braking was applied by me. I believe this may be related to known technical service bulletins SC243 and SC252 concerning faulty automatic braking logic and the hydraulic electronic control unit (HECU). This is a serious safety concern, and I am submitting this complaint in the hope that Kia will address this potential defect through recall or repair. There are reports similar to mine at highway speeds which would be deadly. 4. What Happened Next? I have contacted my local Kia dealership for inspection and plan to request that they document and diagnose the incident fully. Their online scheduler is showing next service appt not for over a week out which is not soon enough. I will call them first thing in the morning. I am also submitting this report to NHTSA to ensure that this is recorded as part of any ongoing safety investigation. Found out the my car has a recall last december 2024. I drove to my dealership and told them about it. they said they dont have available parts for the recall in my car and the service advisor I talked to was told me that they have the parts for the recall but they prioritize the newer car so that they can sell it. then I called the manufacturer and let them know what the dealership was told me.

The dealership repaired the defective lifters. With the current GM recall on the 6.2 liter engine my truck does not qualify as it was built 1 month prior to the recall date. This truck needs to be included in the current 6.2 liter engine that GM is recalling. The motor is defective and is a major safety issue. On [XXX] I was replacing a brake booster with Cardone part 54-73360 , made in Mexico and inspected by JR on my 1990 Dodge W250 4x4 3/4 ton truck. I had purchased the part in July 6, 2024 from Rock Auto. The booster had some light surface rust that was painted with Krylon blue rust prevention. I am saving the entire part for your inspection along the box and the original equipment push rod(

If this rod broke while installed it would have put me, my family and everyone else on the road at risk of serious injury or death. The Cardone push rod has a design and materials flaw. My mechanic, another mechanic, 3 Napa auto parts store sales persons, and myself and Engineer have never seen anything like it. Everyone I have spoke to has NEVER heard or seen a BROKEN PUSH ROD. It just doesn’t happen because of the seriousness of a broken rod will more than likely end in a terrible accident. The Cardone rod is made of pot metal. I had a 2019 GMC Sierra with a 6.2L gas engine. The engine failed while I was driving on the highway at 65 mph. GM has since recalled vehicles with this same 6.2L engine manufactured in model years 2021-2024. I believe that recall should have included my 2019 truck. I was at risk of serious injury or death due to engine failure, fortunately I did not crash. However, I lost $14,000 in value of the truck thanks to the faulty engine. The problem began in Oct 2020 with engine misfires and a check engine light
... . Jaguar Buckhead diagnosed failed fuel injectors (cylinders 1 and 5) and replaced them under warranty. In Sept 2021, the issue reoccurred. The vehicle was towed to Jaguar South Atlanta, but delays and lack of urgency led me to transfer the vehicle to Jaguar Buckhead. They again replaced the injectors. Repair spanned several months. In Jan 2025, the same issue returned. Jaguar Buckhead diagnosed injector failures again (same cylinders). A second certified dealer now recommends full engine replacement at over $33,000. The vehicle has been out of service since Jan 28, 2025, and for over 360 days total since purchase. I have provided work orders, invoices, and error codes (P0301, P0305, P1316, P1000) to the manufacturer. No lasting fix has been made, and the car is still inoperable. Safety Risk: Repeated misfires and power loss while driving present serious safety risks, including sudden loss of control on highways. Confirmed by Dealer: Yes – issues diagnosed by multiple Jaguar-authorized dealerships. Inspected by Manufacturer: Yes – authorized dealers have serviced and diagnosed the issue. According to Honda, this happens frequently when a battery is replaced. Context of Vehicle History: This vehicle has already been subject to 11+ recalls, which have affected various major systems and components. The accumulation of defects and the continuing need for critical system repairs is deeply concerning, particularly for a relatively recent model known for its family-oriented safety features. Owner’s Statement: Given the number of recalls and now a costly camera system failure that directly affects key safety functions, I find this situation unacceptable for a vehicle of this age and mileage (72,000). The loss of these features significantly compromises driver and passenger safety. I have driven on these tires 1800 miles since my purchase of the Forest River 5th wheel trailer in 2021. While driving on narrow country road at 35 mph, driver's side rear tire blew. It had little tread wear and blew the tread/belt off of 12" of the tire with a gash on the interior portion of the tire from sidewall to sidewall. ... he incident and was at 80 psi per the tires limits. The tires are rated to be driven up to 75 mph so I was way under that limit. Replaced with the spare and continued the 80 miles home. While the trailer was sitting in my sideboard on asphalt 5 days later, the tire in front of the one mentioned above blew! This time it blew the fender off the trailer and across the road. Again the same damage is seen to the tire with about 10" of the belt/tread blown off and the interior portion of the tire has a gash from sidewall to sidewall. Will now be replacing all the tires as this is very worrisome to a single woman driver. I am concerned how I would have handled my 32' trailer at hwy speeds of 60-65 mph. Neither incident caused any damage to other drivers luckily. First tire was replaced by Les Schwab Tires and employee was surprised as the tires looked brand new to him with extensive damage seen.
