Safety Recall P43/NHTSA 14V-480 involves the 2015 Chrysler 200 with Driver One-Touch Power Windows built. Driver windows panel does not operate correctly and driver and passenger windows are inoperative due drivers front door wiring harness. The odometer also flashes while driving.

Recall repair for Chrysler recall W09 did not work. Airbag emblem still peeled from steering wheel. In event that drivers airbag deploys the emblem would be launched at the drivers face which could cause injury.

In one occasion, while cruising at low speed ~25mph in the electric mode, the vehicle switched to gas engine mode even there was 16 electric miles on the battery. This issue was not there prior to the recall. Need investigation on the software reliability and the underlying battery issue

1) A/C in the dash has loud non-stop clicking noise. Was replaced and has started up again. 2) Auto start/stop sensor in the cam went out. 3) Power steering rack went out when driving. Bought the car used from a Ford/Chrysler dealership with 65,000 miles. We have had the car for 3 months and they have had it in the shop for about 2 months

On August 18th, 2025 around 6:45 pm, our anti-lock break system stopped working, started smoking and caught fire. The fire came up through the engine under the hood and melted everything. There were no warning signs. Just smoke and flames. Luckily we were able to pull over and exit the vehicle. The fire was extinguished with 2 fire extinguishers. The car is a total loss.

The transmission is very unresponsive and dealerships don’t find anything wrong other than resetting the computer every 2 days. While driving I lost my steering and it was hard to turn as i approached traffic and attempting to turn on ramp, I had to fight steering to get off of road. I took it to a garage and technician diagnosed it and said it is a steering module mounted outside under vehicle.
