On 3 July 2021 the driver side rear sliding door became inoperable. The door would not open using either the electronic motor or by manually pulling the handle and sliding the door. The door lock appeared to be jammed in the locked position and could not be unlocked either electronically or manually. Not being able to open the rear door in any manner is unsafe and in the event of an accident would

The only way to get the door open was to remove the door panel from the inside and manually push the lock actuator back into the correct position. On May 9th I went to pick up my check and I freaking ran over run over a big rock in the street and it it put like a little hole in my oil pan well this is my first car I've had already my second car I haven't had it for that long so what I did was I'm going to try to get home as the oil slowly leaking out but I was going to try to get home and I drive for like for like 3 minutes at like 20 at lik
... e 25 miles per hour 30 miles per hour and like probably like three or four minutes from that incident and I stopped before that too to get the money and then I tried to raise home whatever I'm driving and in the key pops out the addition but it always pops out the ignition crazy and s*** but then the car just like like the lights just act like they they just died on me while I was driving he pops out the lights or whatever and then I stayed that day with my car that happened at 5:00 I was trying to patch up the oil coming out and it turned out to be 2:00 when I noticed it was 2:00 and the oil still coming out all this extra s*** I was probably 1:00 and I bought a oil I bought a one thing oil just to keep keep it in there and stuff cuz I thought I lightweight patched up and I end up getting it towed to my house and I'm the person I'm going to make sure it gets fixed before I drive this stuff is 138,000 Miles only had it for like 2 months now would be like three or four months but yeah and put the oil pan on and somebody stole my radio so I don't know they f***** up some stuff in there but I go to turn on like finally turning the car and stuff and then it is giving me a mobilizer warning it it dies out the battery when I was trying to do it excessively but it's like this stuff thing going on the key won't f****** stand in ignition you like pops out every time I turn it all the way over no matter what key it is only got two of the fob and the transponder the door maybe they've been broken into or something so it looks all sketchy can't put a key into the door and p0 513..Read more

While driving approximately 25 mph I crossed over railroad tracks in the road. There is only a very small bump going over these. The front drivers side wheel came off. When my wife pressed the accelerator pedal nothing happened. We were able to coast and turn down a side street. We put the vehicle in park, turned it off and we’re able to restart it. We immediately notified the dealership and drove it there. On the way to the dealership, we made a stop. When in a parking lot, my wife pressed the accelerator to drive and the same issue happened with the same warning lights and alarms. Once again, we shifted to park, turned the vehicle off and we’re able to restart it. We drove straight to the dealership, informed them of the repeated issue and left the van with them. The dealership indicated there were over twenty software updates. We were told the exact same thing on June 4th the last time this happened. They have not yet been able to tell us why this has happened or continues to happen. The problem has not been reproduced by the dealership but this is the third time this has happened. In all but one instance, the vehicle fails to restart without significant intervention (e.g., towing to the dealership) and has left our family stranded. The driver head rest deployed while I was driving. It hit the back of my head very hard, causing my neck to hurt and I had a headache for 2 days. I did not go to the Dr. because it wasn't severe. However, I do have this on video because we have a dash cam in our van at all times. I found out these were defective, called the FCA and they told me I could go to any Chrysler dealer and I could get it
... replaced under warranty. So this is what I have done, but its on back order. Also, I wanted them to replace the other side since this could happen again, but they said they could not, unless it deployed. That's unacceptable if you ask me....its a safety issue for sure. This will happen again, just don't know when. Is there anything I can do about this? Thank you so much. FCA has been contacted and warranty number [XXX] and case [XXX] was given. Consumer has headache for couple of days, her neck hurt as well as in between her shoulder blades. Dealer was contacted on July 5th and head rest is backordered, dealer will install once it comes in. I went on some errands before going out if town. I noticed I might need a wheel alignment soon and I parked the car in my garage to go out of town. When I returned to go have it checked out, I noticed my front driver side tire was flat and a closer inspection, it had a tear. Then I noticed my other front tire was flat as well. I had two people tell me my subframe was badly rusted. I found out this
... was a known problem with Chrysler Pacifica but no recalls. This could have been a horrible accident for my daughter and I. We had been on the highway! By the grace of GOD we made it home, but the car is not driveable. Then came COVID and here I am, still without a car. Chrysler said they don't do recalls. This should not happen. Unfortunately, I don't know how long this was going on, no one mentioned anything at oil changes or when I got 3 new tires, etc. I don't have photos and just lost and frustrated this happened.Read more

My wife said that she was pulling into a parking spot and did not have her foot on the accelerator as she coasted into the spot. The car accelerated by itself she had to step hard on the brake to get it to stop before she hit another car. It was not a problem with a floor mat since they are snapped into place and do not come close to the pedals. I do see that similar problems have been reported on

In this investigation, "Complainants allege a fire started at the charge hub mounted in the trim panel located on the driver's side of the vehicle between the second and third row seating." My 2014 Town and Country has an issue where the motor and/or latching mechanism overheats and the door starts to open and close on its own. This event only happens
... during the extreme heat of the summer (such as 90 degrees and above). The local dealership recommended replacing all of the mechanisms in the door. However, they have no idea why the air temperature impacts the door. Regardless, the door is subject to overheating. These mechanisms are located in the same part of the care where the fire investigation is occurring.Read more
