We went to an auto store to buy a battery because the Frisco Chrysler dealership closed on Sundays. the salesman stated that we should go to National Tire and Battery. We took the van to NTB and that's when we found out we ha

Because we already purchased a regular battery they were able to install it; however the van had to be towed to a Frisco Chrysler dealership to install an auxiliary battery. Frisco Chrysler installed the auxiliary battery successfully. Unfortunately, six months later we were back at Frisco Chrysler because the auxiliary light had come back on. I took the van to the dealership and they replaced the auxiliary battery stating that the battery will only last between six months to 2 years. In June 2021, the auxiliary light came back on and Frisco Chrysler changed the auxiliary battery again. I returned the following day because the auxiliary light came back on. The mechanic stated the wire connecting the auxiliary battery had come a loose and stated he fixed it. In October 2021, the auxiliary light came back on. By this time we moved to Georgia; therefore we took the van to Gwinnett Chrysler. Gwinnett Chrysler stated there was a wiring issue and stated it would cost $1,000 to fix. The dash showed "put vehicle in park to restart" and I had to pull over with no ability to accelerate, come to a complete stop, and place the vehicle in park in order to start the van again. ... light coming on just prior to the stalling: P0A43 - Drive Motor A Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent P0A3F - Drive Motor A Position Sensor Circuit Both Chrysler and the dealership initially refused to attempt any repairs, and wanted me to take possession of a vehicle that is randomly stalling at highway speeds, which is extremely dangerous. When I refused and pushed them to actually address the codes, they decided to replace the transmission, which houses Drive Motor A. AFTER 2 complaints about defective air bag sensors "THAT GOT ME NOWHERE", I guess you can forget about it because I put a piece of tape over the airbag light. they put the junk sensors in ALL the 2005 vans and some 2006 but for some reason NOT ALL WERE RECALLED.. I don't understand why this hasn't been resolved.. I'll be [XXX] if I'm paying 300-400 bucks for something that other people are getting

On 10/13/2021 the front passenger seat headrest activated for no apparent reason. The van was at a complete stop. After inspecting the headrest I determined the plastic had broke and allowed the headrest to spring forward. The rod that locks the headrest in the normal position was still in the clamp indicating that the computer did not activate the headrest. The plastic holding the rod broke. Luck

I called the dealer and asked if there was a recall for this issue and they indicated there was not.I believe this is an extremely unsafe incident and am afraid that the driver’s side might be next.I believe it could cause serious head and neck injuries if falsely activated.
