The flashing Yellow dashboard warning lights and audible alarm sounds and the dash display switches to show the four tire pressures. ... ght becomes a steady yellow light. This steady yellow light and false flat tire readings continue for many miles (which can be over 50 miles). Sometimes parking and turning off the ignition resets the system. Sometimes restarting the vehicle just has it continue with the false readings. The false readings happen on smooth expressways and other roads as well. Sometimes they happen several times within a week. Other times weeks go by between false readings. The false audible and warning light are safety hazards because they are distracting, especially when it happens in a construction zone. This is a one owner vehicle and has been the subject of numerous complaints to the selling dealer about this issue. The dealer has been unable to repair the defect despite changing the module and tire sensors. Their history confirms failed repair efforts to fix the problem for several years at least back to November 3, 2016 despite being shown videos of the problem while the problem takes place.Read more

There has been a lot of talk about the possible distractions in Tesla vehicles. I happen to have a Tesla Model S and I have a Chrysler Pacifica Plugin Hybrid. The Chrysler, although overall is a great vehicle, poses a risk because they do not treat the drivers as adults. Let me explain. So, when I was traveling with my family over Thanksgiving, with my wife in the front passenger seat and four kids in the back, I had to pull over to the side of the road to make any adjustments to the navigation system. I don't have to you tell you how dangerous pulling off to the side of a highway is whether at night or during the day. This is extremely frustrating and dangerous and I take it personally that adults are being treated like children when it comes to interacting with these machines. If we're truly concerned about distracted drivers, then we would ban even carrying a cell phone with us in a vehicle and even ban the radio and the ability to change the station while driving. This is of course impractical, and that's my point. Tesla treats its drivers with respect and allows for responsible interaction with the navigations system, radio, other vehicle functions, etc. I play "Caroke" in the car all the time for my kids in the rear seat. If I'm distracted by the lyrics on the screen constantly changing with the song, then that is my issue and I should shut it off. However, it is not an issue with me and I remain focused on the road. Manufacturers should treat drivers as adults and allow them to be responsible. Anything short of that, and any regulation barring the great functionality of a Tesla, will only hold us back technologically. Please ask Chrysler and other OEMs to stop barring interaction with the vehicle while it's in motion before a truck slams into a vehicle pulled over to the side.Read more

I was travelling on I-95. My 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid completely shut down while driving at 65-70 mph. A Service Charging System message flashed on the dash. The van decelerated and another message "put in park to start" flashed. All of this was while I was driving on the interstate. I was able to brake to a stop on the shoulder and turn on the hazards. I was NOT able to turn off the car. Th

The van was towed to a Chrysler dealership. They had the car Monday and part of Tuesday. They could not duplicate the issue and could not find any error messages. They said they checked the battery several times and it was fine. There was nothing else they could do and sent me home with the van. Fortunately, I was in the right hand lane when this happened. I don't know what would happen if this occurs while in the middle lane and would need to maneuver to the shoulder. I have found that this is not a unique situation and the exact thing has happened to many other Pacifica owners. Unfortunately, I do not believe this is the last time this will happen. REFERENCE FCA SAFETY RECALL W09. I have been attempting to get my vehicle fixed/repaired since February of this year when I received a recall notice (W09) through the postal service. I was told in February the part was not available yet for the dealer to obtain but I would be notified when it was available. I have called the dealer frequently since then to determine the status of the part and

Approximately three months ago when I called the dealer (yet again), the dealer informed me they would order the part and they would notify me when it arrived. I have repeatedly called this dealer since then to ask if the part had arrived. After three phone calls I was pointedly told I would be notified when the part had arrived. It is December of 2021 now and the recall on my vehicle remains unfixed. This morning I searched for this recall on the NHTSA website and found, "The interim repair is to remove the emblem and the emblem retainers from the driver airbag." This interim remedy was never mentioned nor completed by this dealer. I was never made aware until my search this morning there was an interim remedy. Since receiving this recall in February I have been minimizing the use of this vehicle, restricting its use to in town driving only until it could be fixed. I am fortunate to have another vehicle at my disposal but others in my situation may not be so fortunate. If the delay in supplying the required parts is due to the manufacture then I highly doubt the FCA statement, "...but are sincerely concerned about your safety", as cited on their safety recall letter. If the delay is due to the Diepholz Chrysler dealer in Paris Illinois, then I am of the opinion this dealer has failed or is unable to remedy this defect within a reasonable time period. If the NHTSA is able to get this dealer to make the required fix/repair, then the NHTSA is far better than I could ever hope to be.Read more

I tried to stop the car and the ABS kicked in but not fully. I was able to yank the steering wheel enough to round a corner avoid another vehicle and get to a safe place to stop. I restarted the car and it was as if nothing occurred. I believe there is a
... serious flaw in the computer system and an upgrade is needed!!! I used and OBD II reader and there were no codes that came up. The car only has 89,000 miles on it. This is a serious safety concern. If I had stalled on a highway on a curve, with no real way to stop it or steer it in time with out serious struggle, the outcome could have endangered not only myself and those in my car but other motorists!! Vehicle would not start and would not move out of "run" position so I could not turn it off. Multiple warning lights and messages appeared including service transmission, service shifter, vehicle not in park, also shifter lights would not come on. Could not jump start it. Auxiliary battery has also been replaced prior to this latest incident. Dealership has no idea what is wrong. I did see a prior recall that had supposedly been done regarding battery grounding, but this makes me question the work. Safety issue because I could not get the car out of the run position and it was in my garage. Also, when I did get it running, it would not go into reverse. I had to drive forward a little in my garage and then put it in reverse which worked.Read more

upon taking my chrysler 2015 200 limited 2.4L in-line into BAY AREA CHRYSLER dealership to figure out why my car wasnt running correctly they it on their diagnostic they said it needed a body control module which the dealership put a new one charged me 199.20 to put it in plus the $376.35 for the module that was ordered which I paid .when I picked up my car it was parked with the ignition on
... and walked off with the key fob.after paying for another 200 $ for a new key fob I was told the new part didnt work.so now the center stack which controls the radio the heater /air conditioner controls screen off on selecter knob and parking brake do not work so im wondering if the electrical recall or failure of the dealership to do their jobRead more

2011 Chrysler town and country, starts then shuts off after two seconds. Check engine light came on last night. Remote start disabled. Vehicle will not start via push button, must use key fob in place of pushbutton. Again remote start will not work. Vehicle starts and shuts off right away. From research done, cause being TIPM OR FUEL RELAY.

Dealer stating codes stating hybrid error and transmission errors. Vehicle has 7021 miles and was purchased March 2021. My wife and 2 children were stranded on the road in a vehicle that would not move.
