I am so thankful the road was not crowded and that no 18 wheelers were too close. This could have ended very differently and we were very scared. Both power sliding doors are malfunctioning. The will not close when using the remote on the key fob or the buttons inside the cabin. I don't understand why this has been a recall item as I can see over 56,000 issues online for it. We currently have 13170 miles on our 2021 Pacifica. We have seen this charge system error now for the third time. Here is the list of errors below. First time I was driving 45 mph and the vehicle lost power and had a charge system error. I was able to safely stop on the side of the road. I was able to restart the vehicle after about 2 minutes with a check engine light. I was able to take it to the
... dealership and had all of the current software updates and removed the check engine light. Second time I was at work and I attempted to start the vehicle from the run button. The radio turned on but I had a charge system error and the vehicle would not turn off. I worked for about 5 to 10 minutes to turn the vehicle off. Luckily I was not driving at the time and was parked. I again had a check engine light. The dealership diagnosed that I have a failing PIM. The vehicle sat at the dealership for a month, the part was continually on back order every two weeks. The check engine light was removed and I took the vehicle home still waiting on the replacement PIM. Third time I was in the garage, PIM still not replaced, on back order and the vehicle would not start from the run button. I was able to turn on the vehicle after waiting about 2 to 3 minutes. After driving for about 25 minutes the issue came up again. I was able to wait and the vehicle restarted. A check engine light illuminated on the dash. On the way home after a stop, I had loss of power and had the charge system error going 25mph . I was able to stop the vehicle in a empty parking lot. I waited about 5 minutes and was able to restart the vehicle. I drove the vehicle straight home and is now sitting in the garage at home. As of today I am still waiting for this back ordered PIM since October. The vehicle now will sit in the garage, unusable, until the replacement part can be installed. The transmission failed on a four lane highway (with 78,260 miles and original owner), as my wife and young son were trying to pull out from an intersection and merge into traffic, risking their safety and others on the same road. A moaning noise, which points to the transmission pump that was recalled on other same year models, seems to be the culprit according to the dealership, which requires

After speaking my wife, who was in the process of running errands on 1/5/2022, the vehicle did not make any noise upon starting on her trip, but did start a slight moaning noise at one of her stops, which she stated sounded similar to the sound a power steering pump makes when low on fluid. Additionally, the vehicle was in for its annual safety inspection and PA emissions testing on 12/16/2021, for which it passed with no issues noted. The vehicle is currently sitting at a garage (after getting an initial diagnosis at the purchased dealership, Jim Shorkey Chrysler in North Huntingdon, PA) to get a second estimate of needing a new transmission. There were no warnings prior to this occurring, such as hesitation, check engine lamps, etc., and even on initial drop off, the check engine light still was not illuminated (the dealer has stated there are 3 codes for the transmission in the computer, but was not able to confirm whether the engine light was on now). After now reading various Internet websites, speaking with both the dealer and a mechanic, and even to a local tow truck driver, these vehicles all appear to have very similar transmission issues. The local mechanic stated he has replaced three of these exact transmissions for pump issues within the last few months. Being that there is such a backlog on replacements of this model, this points clearly that it is a safety issue on these vehicles and many, many of the same model outside of the recall date are suffering the same fate and NEED to be recalled IMMEDIATELY.Read more

With this failure the engine systems are NOT utilizing the hybrid traction battery portion of the system. I have driven many small trips up to about 65 miles, but no drive has yet used the battery capacity. So the vehicle is running 100% on the g

The dealership is unable to tell me if driving the vehicle in this state will cause further damage to the van, therefore I am stuck unable to drive the vehicle for fear of causing even more damage. Error code pulled from personal obd2 reader: P0E15 - Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Coolant Heater A Control Performance On 1/4/2022 the dealer service advisor called and confirmed that the issue is the expected part failure/replacement, and that there are no parts available in the US for this repair. The last instance that my dealer repaired took 4 weeks to secure the needed parts for repair. Still no confirmation the van would be safe to drive in the interim. Therefore I am without my new 2021 vehicle purchased 5/10/2021, while it only has 1608miles... for what seems like will be at least another month. The dealer SA also mentioned to me that Chrysler currently had another ~450 instances of this same failure happening right now, all which going to be significantly impacted by the lack of parts availability. Rear sliding door lock actuator has failed and is stuck in locked position. It is impossible to open the door from inside or out using either manual or electric opener. This is dangerous as this door can no longer be used in case of emergency or accident. It is also not apparent anything is wrong. It just does not unlock or open.

The battery was faulty, and the START/STOP feature was inoperable. A pressure test was performed however, the mechanic was unable to locate a coolant leak. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and diagnosed that the EGR cooler valve was cracked. The vehicle was not repaired. Chrysler has now extended the warranty on the actuator, but now they say it is a latch issue not covered by the extended warranty, and want $1100 to repair it. During highway travel noticed vibration in steering wheel. inspected tires and noticed tire GOODYEAR VIVA3 225/65R17 (PJ2Y LDHR) shows side belt bubble. Concerned that tire may ruptured during highspeed travel. Request NTSB review manufacturers design for sidewall construction and or broadcast recall on tire type with deficiency sidewall concerns.

Purchased car 8/03/21. Got full possession of car 8/18/21. The car shuts off while driving and backing up with no warning. It shuts off when you press on the brakes. When you come to a complete stop and then press on the accelerator , the car hesitates to move, then moves very slowly , jerks then starts to move at a normal pace . Engine light comes on continuously.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while at a stoplight, the vehicle inadvertently moved forward. The contact had to depress the brake pedal all the way to the floorboard to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. Yesterday, when I was dropping Christmas, presents off to my son at his moms' house. My 2011 Chrysler 200, Convertible limited with 3.6L v6 Pentastar flex-fuel motor. temp gauge went all the way up into Red. I researched flaws and issues that Chrysler acknowledges, like that class-action lawsuit for vehichlwes not covered under extended vehicles that have the same issue, and problems Also how come even tho my vehicle 2011 Chrysler is not covered when covered is 2012 - 2017 even thos my car motor is identical as 2012 - 2013 Which was the first generation with faulty Oil cooler. or when they used sand casting molds to make cylinder heads which some of the sand stayed and circulated through the system, Causing oil cooler lines and coolant passageways. Pretty much was left stranded in freezing below temps with a car where motor oil spueling out of coolant overflow tank, over the windshield where I could barely see when trying to pull over. also oil all down passenger side of vehicle wet from front to back . not to mention other faults with the multi systems.
