Chrysler aka FCA has recently recalled TPMS sensors of 2022 vehicles but has NOT recalled the 2009 Town and Country TPMS systems. I bought my 2009 Town and Country new and bought the MaxiCare bumper to bumper lifetime no deductible warranty for it. It now has 180,000 miles on it. They have been unable to resolve the problem even after consulting Chrysler "experts" by setting up STAR Claims with Chrysler Corporation. This is a safety issue. The false audible and dash light warnings take place driving on expressways. The light stays lit for many miles. Then the system resets and the same thing can happen the same day or days or weeks later. The last date was 8/4/22. On two separate occasions vehicle went into limp mode (red turtle mode) and then within minutes lost power and completely stopped working. The message "Service Charging Station" appeared after both incidents on the dashboard. ... have certainly been worse and we may not have been able to move over to safety. On both occasions we were left stranded and the vehicle had to be towed to the dealership for repair. The vehicular failure we experienced on both occasions appears to be the same that is currently being investigated in the Office of Defects Investigation PE 22-008. The first incident occurred in December of 2021. Eventually the dealership replaced the power inverter module (PIM) in February of 2022. Vehicle was road tested and checked for safety and returned to us. In June of 2022 the vehicle broke down again with the exact same chain of events. Vehicle is currently at the dealership for repair and is again awaiting replacement of the PIM. It is my understanding that the failed parts have been/will be sent to Chrysler for internal investigation. As far as I am aware, they have not been inspected by any other parties. Other than the car going into limp mode, there were no other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure.Read more

Chrysler designed the headlight operation so technically complicated and epensive that defies logic. My vehicle only has about 70,000 miles on it. This is a failure of Chrysler, and I should get a full reimbursement. I have been loyal to this brand since 1981, having bought at least 13 new top of the line vehicles, they need to be loyal to me. I have contacted their customer complaint department, but have not heard from them yet. I sent them the dealer work order and a copy of my paid receipt. Headlights not working are a real safety concern, and I had no choice but to get the repair. My case number is 83729232 with Chrysler. I received a letter from Chrysler instructing not to charge Pacifica hybrid and to park it away from the house because they have experienced several fire. I paid a high price to purchase a plug in hybrid, and when gas prices are at their highest, I am unable to use the electric battery. After the van sat idle for about 10 minutes and got a little hybrid charge I was able to accelerate a little to get my car around the corner and pulled to a safer spot off the road before it coasted to a stop again. Roadside assistance towed the van to my dealership. The dealership had my van for 11 days this time. When they turned it on the next morning it wasn't working still. They got it into a service bay and the next time they went to move it it started working on it's own. No service lights ever turned on and they couldn't figure out what caused the issue. They had Chrysler Engineers involved in the process and after 11 days gave me the vehicle back stating that all they did was 6 software updates and they couldn't find anything else to fix since it started working again on it's own. The van has never accelerated the same since. Now 2 months later I have a service light on for my Powerterrain and am so worried about losing acceleration again while driving my kids or something. It's so dangerous and they don't know what's causing the issue and I feel like the van is just a ticking timebomb for an accident with as many service issues as I've had with it. ... ems when you are going under 30 mph. I have replaced the battery, the TIPM, broke switch, reprogramed the power control module, ignition switch. Receiver 08035031, transmtr 08059057,sensor cr 08037155. Also Checked the engine and all codes. The worst problem beside the fact it stalls in the middle of the road is that I had trouble getting it smoged. Lastly on one occasion it started doing funny things and I went on to the freeway, so at 55mph the speedometer went crazy up and down no consistent with my speed and then when I was pulling into the parking lot it stalled completely. Also once it stalled and all the electrical also went out , no emergency blinkers, no window opening, no radio. I have spent more than $3,000 with the dealer and no relief, It is almost happening every time I go out were before it was only occasional. I was just driving down the road and noticed my headset was pushing out toward my head. Upon inspection, it had been deployed but there was no accident that caused it. It is now pressing against my head all the time while I am driving and cannot be pushed back to normal position. Recall was issued February 18, 2022. Have not been able to park in garage or plug in charger since recall. Numerous calls and letters and emails have resulted in nothing but sympathy. This recall is definitely not being handled in a timely manner! This idiocy needs to get more attention….quickly!

The car shudders when accelerating. The car jerks when making sharp turns in parking lots at low speeds. The car steering sticks when turning on windy roads I have to manually turn the wheel back to compensate and it is very jerky and dangerous.
