Car was stalling and had electrical issues. I paid to get it fixed but never knew there was a recall for my vehicles alternator. The vehicle battery dies fairly quickly from time to time still and every know and then I have to call AAA to jump my car and they say my battery is good. Chrysler's number for this recall is T36. I never received a noticed.

To our knowledge, our crankcase sensor has not been replaced. Our concern is that the sudden loss of power (and the driver's automatic backing off of the acceleration) could case a vehicle behind us to run into us as the vehicle slows without braking. The power loss often occurs as the vehicle is being accelerated on an entrance ramp or through a corner, but has also occurred during straight line acceleration. The last occurrence was 10/05/2022. At 130,000 miles a oil leak became very noticeable. The rear main oil seal was destroyed. Due to the oil leak the front belly pan(68102931ab) became a dangerous hazard. The front belly pan became completely soaked in oil and was dragging under the car. Once the car was taken apart by the tech it was discovered that the oil cooling house (68105583af) was cracked.

Auto Start/Stop function failed, at a red light the car engine auto stopped but when brake was released after the light turned green the car stalled and had to be turned off and back on. Thankfully the cars behind me were stopped but if someone had been just pulling up behind me and expected me to move forward when the light turned green they may not have stopped fast enough to prevent an accident, which could have put the safety of my children in the back seats at significant risk. On a separate occasion this happened at a stop sign as well with the auto stop function causing the car to not turn back on when the brake was released and the car had to be turned off and back on again. Months prior to either incident the auto stop/start engine light had been on for some time but after a regular service and software update at the dealership the light went off. More recently there have been several issues indicating electrical problems, like the touchscreen turning off and restarting while driving. May 31st 2022 both the main and auxiliary batteries failed and were replaced at the dealership and then Sep 24th 2022 the battery failed again, but was jumped off and worked until Oct. 1st when the battery failed and would not hold a charge again.Read more

There is a hairline crack on top of the Fuel Pump Plastic Housing cause leak on top of the housing. Fuel Vapor in AC present as well as inside and outside the car. This could be a potential fire hazard and I have read many forums in which many other owners of the same make and model of the car has.

OEM equipment wheel locks, incorrectly installed either at factory or dealer, were McGard high security wheel locks, and either incorrectly tightened/torqued and/or the equipment used was warned by the mfg of the wheel locks NOT to be used on wheels where the lug studs were exposed to salt/winter conditions, thus causing the OEM equipment to fail and seize on the van. ... d tire rotation, they could not remove the OEM equipment, on a WARRANTED auto just 18 months into the mfg 3yr/36k mile warranty, and had to resort to brute force to remove seized wheel locks, thus causing documented damage to 2 wheels. Neither Dealer nor Chrysler will admit to liability, tuning this back on me, disregarding their warranty. Full documentation available for this claim. Their denial is not based on any contractual issue in warranty nor in any real fact. Had I had a flat tire on the side of the road, these seized wheel lock nuts may have caused a real & present danger to myself and family in the van. This is the Manufacture's issue to replace damaged equipment caused during warranty work on this auto.Read more

The passenger side sliding door has started intermittently not closing/latching completely whether closed manually or using automatic closure. On 3 separate occasions while driving the dashboard has flashed the error message "Shift to P, Service Charging System". As soon as this occurs, the car begins to lose power and is no longer driveable. Once the car is shifted to "Park" it is temporarily stuck in that position with the car "On" but no power to the engine. For somewhere between 30-90s the car can't be turned off or shifted out of "P

Within a couple of hours the check engine light goes off and the car seems to behave normally. This has happened to us 3 times over ~2 months now. The car has actually stopped in the middle of the road forcing us to turn on hazard lights while trying to restart. It is extremely dangerous and seemingly common problem. Our local Chrysler service center was only able to book an appointment a month out due to limited technicians qualified to work on the hybrid vehicles. We described the problem in detail but they are not aware of the problem or solutions. We are trying to contact Chrysler Corporate directly to find out what their solution is.Read more
