... ur foot is steady on the gas pedal. This issue is getting worse to the point that I'm afraid to drive it. Furthermore, at interstate speeds the transmission will not shift gears sometimes. This causes the van to slow down rapidly especially on hills. This has almost caused accidents when I need to accelerate quickly when entering the highway or merging. It's very slow to accelerate and you have to press the pedal hard, then finally catches up and does a rough jolt. This can happen at any speed, but is especially bad when accelerating or driving on an incline. The check engine light is constantly illuminated. The dealerships appear to reset the transmission to turn off the warning light, but within a few miles of driving home from the dealership, the lights come back on. This has happened the last 2 times we have brought the vehicle in for repair. In addition, intermittently the vehicle will idle very roughly, making a louder than normal noise and shaking. When this happens the check engine light will begin flashing and making a dinging sound.Read more

Per the local dealer inspection the PDC unit has faulty wiring which caused the fuse to burn severely in turn things begin to randomly stop working no sound from radio, doors will not lock at times, back up camera goes in and out.

The Start/Stop battery on the Pacifica is a problem. I owned a 2017 model that failed 3 times. I traded that can in for the 2020 model and in less than 2 years it failed. I had it repaired under warranty on 09/27/2022 and it has failed again less than one month after the repair. This is an issue that many Pacifica owners have dealt with. On Oct. 9, 2022, at approximately 6:30 p.m. EDT, I was braking as I approached a stop sign. For the first second or two of braking, the van slowed normally. Then, as the van was nearly stopped at the stop sign (probably 10 feet ahead of it, and approx. 5 mph or less), while my foot was still gently depressing the brake pedal, the van began to accelerate on its own. ... ard on the brake, lurching the van to a stop. After the hard stop (and explaining it to my family), I gently accelerated through the intersection and parked the van in my driveway. (The stop sign was 2 houses from home.) This was on a residential street, 25 mph speed limit, clear day, dry pavement. Before applying the brakes I had been coasting down the street between 20 and 25 mph. There was no other traffic and no pedestrians. When the van accelerated on its own, we had nearly but not completely come to a stop yet. My foot was still gently depressing the brake to come to a smooth stop. Neither the accelerator nor the cruise control was engaged. With unwanted acceleration while the brake is depressed, I do not think the vehicle is safe to drive. Today (the next morning) I am in the process of calling to have it flatbed-transported to the dealer for inspection. The van is brand new; we've had it 5 weeks, it has 698 miles. At low speeds when shifting into 2nd gear the car slips, rpm's raise and then it suddenly and aggressively jerks into 2nd gear. If the start and stop feature is enabled and you are in a situation where the feature is engaging and disengaging like traffic then after a few of the jerks into 2nd gear it seems the PCM will get discombobulated and display a P0732 error.

Dear Sir or Madam, There was a recall on our vehicle for the Battery Cables. It was supposed to fix the Stop/Start on our car. Prior to getting the Recall done, our car didn't restart at a stop light/sign causing us to put it back in park and restart the car. We went to have the Recall done and were told that that would not fix the problem, we needed to buy the second battery. We did - costin

The driver-side rear sliding door lock actuator has failed to operate any longer and because of this part failure, the driver-side sliding door will not unlock or open. The safety of my family is being put at risk because should we be in an accident on the passenger side of the car, for example and "t-bone" or a roll-over that does not allow us to use the passenger side doors, everyone in the back

And assuming the accident is severe enough to not allow us to exit on the passenger side of the car, I believe it is also safe to assume that injuries will have occurred and the children and/or adults will be unable to climb over or around seats and could be at great risk of injury trying to get out of the car by themselves or by emergency support since no access will be available for them to get safety support boards into the car or for them to get into the car and to the children safely. This problem has been confirmed by a local body shop since the door will not open or close they had to completely remove the door to get into the panel to inspect. I have not had the vehicle inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representative but it has been inspected by my mechanic and auto body shop. There were no warning lamps or messages warning of this problem or part breakage. It was a situation where we left the house and used both sliding doors and while we were out, the driver side sliding door stopped working. This appears to be a very common problem with chrysler/dodge/jeep/ram products and has been going on for years. There are numerous videos on youtube showing people talking about this problem and recalls have been issued for other model vehicles and need to be put in place for my vehicle as well.Read more

The vehicle battery dies fairly quickly from time to time still and every know and then I have to call AAA to jump my car and they say my battery is good. Chrysler's number for this recall is T36. I never received a noticed.
