Last month when driving my van started to stall when driving came to a stop at a light and the engine jerked, light turned green started to drive and it wouldn't go over 30 then all of a sudden it speeded up and the started making a weird sound pulled, off into a parking lot wasn't able to get it all the way in a parking spot. When I bought this van brand new I had a lot of electrical issues kept taking it to the dealer they could never find anything. Lights would dim when driving, they was suppose to hook a machine up to it and it would register what was going on, this was requested by Chrysler when I couldn't get anywhere with the dealer ship. Chrysler set it up I go to the dealer and they don't have that equipment so they said they couldn't do anything, called Chrysler back told them was suppose to hear from someone never did. I feel this van is a death trap. The side doors act like they don't want to close at times. I have kept up on regular maintenance on the van. I just feel that when you pay $30,000.00 for a vehicle and take care of it things should last longer. I know it's 7 years old but low mileage and taken care of.Read more

They were bawling because they thought they were going to get hit. We had a sheriff call for a tow truck which was not free. We were left stranded in the dark, in the cold, for an hour just this incident. It once was an issue that only happened occasionally. It happened 6 times this past week while I was out of state for holidays. This is my only means of transportation and having a newborn I have to be able to get around safely. I will state again NO warning prior, and no engine light after to diagnose the issue. Myself and my 4 children could have lost our lives last night. The officers who stopped could have lost their lives the passerby could have lost their lives. This vehicle is a death trap. They need to recall all of them to locate the real problem before tragedy strikes. I wouldn’t even give this vehicle away that’s how unsafe it is.Read more

You should have recently received an important recall notice from FCA detailing the steps needed to repair your vehicle and ensure the safety of you and

On Wed, 11/23/2022, I was driving on I-94 Eastbound headed from Wisconsin to Illinois at about 70 mph. The car suddenly stalled and I lost all ability to accelerate the vehicle. The brakes and steering wheel still worked fine. The dash was displaying a message: "Service charging system. Shift to P to start." Thankfully, I was in the right lane and the shoulder was clear. I was able to pul
... l onto the shoulder and come to a controlled stop. I put the vehicle in PARK and shut off the vehicle. I tried to restart it but was unable to. I then unbuckled my seat belt and opened & closed the driver side door (without getting out). After about a minute I was able to restart the car and continue on my way to Chicago. This happened 2 more times that trip. It also happened 1 time on the way back to Wisconsin for a total of 4 incidents in 1 day trip. This has significant safety implications, esp. when one cannot get to the shoulder (or there is no shoulder) to restart the vehicle. I felt very scared and no longer trust my vehicle on the highway. This has happened to me once before earlier this year. I took it to a dealer after that incident. They said the updated all the software but are not certain if this fixed the root cause. Apparently, it did not. There was no warning light to indicate a problem may be happening. However, now that this has happened, the "check engine" indicator is on and, apparently, needs to be reset. I have not yet taken the vehicle to a dealer for this recent set of 4 incidents.Read more

We were driving our Chrysler Pacifica hybrid on the highway and it stalled and said put into park and completely turned off. When we pulled over to the side of the road, the car would not start and had to be towed to the dealership. It was very unsafe and not the first time that our car has turned off.

Airbag light keeps turning on and off all the time. This is a very serious issue. It is also happening on my other vehicle which happens to be the same year and also made by Chrysler (Jeep) I need help. I already contacted dealership about but didn’t get any help.

On 4 occasion my vehicle stopped running on the road with no warning. Was unaware anything even happened until i stepped in the gas. Light still on, radio still on, no power steering. Difficult to get off road. Unable to start again for about 45 minutes. Had serviced every time this happened, no codes noted for anything wrong. Had multiple things replaced without resolution. ... my self and see that 6/2012 investigation opened due to faulty PCM and closed on 9/2012 by NHTSA after an update and customer service satisfaction program for 2011-2013 models with 3.6L. I have never received any recall. I am afraid to put my children in my car anymore because you have no control of your vehicle when this happens. Driving on the Highway with my entire family of 6 people (with 2 young kids) and my Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid 2019 suddenly stops. When I press the accelerator the vehicle doesn't respond. When I shut it off, wait for a couple of minutes and turn it on again, it gives an error saying service charging system. I had to shut it down on the highway and get it towed to the nearest dealer. STOP/START FUNCTION IS A HAZARD. WE HAVE ALREADY HAD IT REPAIRED ONCE AT A DEALERSHIP WHERE WE NEEDED 2 NEW BATTERIES. 2 WEEKS LATER, IT STARTED DOING THE SAME THING AGAIN - SPUTTERING WHILE DRIVING, AUTO STOP START NOT AVAILABLE. The drive shaft broke and had to be replaced. This resulted in lack of stability prior to the break and mobility was comprimised after it broke.
