Vehicle went into limp mode three times while driving on the highway, forcing us to pull over to the shoulder. Luckily there was a safe place to pull over but created a major safety concern. It triggered code P0A43-00. The dealer initially couldn't recreate the code on 12/18/25 at which point they cleared the code and returned the car to us. It happened again on 12/30/25 at which point the dealer
... followed Chrysler instructions to conduct pin drag test but no problem was found. Dealer drove 60 mile test and didn't recreate the fault and returned car to us. The same issue again occurred on 1/9/26 at which point Chrysler authorized invasive transmission repairs. This issue directly aligns with recall 23V-010 and NHTSA ODI investigation RQ24004Read more

I am filing this complaint regarding a persistent and unresolved defect with my 2024 Chevrolet Traverse, VIN: [XXX] . The first occurrence of this issue was in June 2025. Since then, the vehicle has repeatedly experienced a “Check Engine” warning, engine misfires (cylinder misfire), loss of power while driving, and severe engine shaking. These symptoms make the vehicle unsafe to operate. The v
... ehicle has been taken to an authorized Chevrolet dealership approximately 20 times for the same ongoing issue. Despite multiple repair attempts, the problem has never been permanently resolved. In total, the vehicle has spent about three months out of service at the dealership. As of January 14, 2026, after the vehicle has been at the dealership for over two weeks, I was informed that the dealer is unable to repair the vehicle. They have escalated the case to the manufacturer, General Motors, because they cannot identify a permanent solution. The current mileage of the vehicle is approximately 41,700 miles. This ongoing defect makes the vehicle unreliable and unsafe for normal use. The repeated failures to repair suggest a potential manufacturing or design defect rather than an isolated incident. I respectfully request that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration review this matter and determine whether an investigation or further action is warranted. ... ry 7, 2022 we brought the van to Chrysler after taking it in a few times to Carmax to resolve the the disabled "Start/ Stop" System. The light would intermittently come on indicating the system was unavailable, and shifting would be erratic. An inspection and recall work for the PCM was performed. In June of 2023, the UConnect System stopped working intermittently. The gears were still shifting roughly with the shift knob becoming increasingly more difficult to turn. An independent shop found no solution with an unknown timeframe on the delivery of a new transmission. In June of 2023 while driving, the van shut off completely while in motion. After a few minutes, it started up again and drove as if nothing was wrong. June 24, 2023, we took the van to Chrysler with the same issues. At the time there was still a back order of transmissions for the van. Upon contacting Chrysler, we found out that there was a recall effective on the new transmission and the company rush ordered the part to the shop. As well, the Uconnect system was also addressed. The issue was fixed. After a few years of reliable service, the van functioned normally with rough shifting and start/stop system failures still an issue. In January of 2024, the van would not start at first try. Often my wife was able to get it started after sitting for awhile. In other cases, changing the key fob helped. Changing the AUX battery repaired the issue temporarily. Now it won't start at all. The starter was misdiagnosed by an independent shop with Chrysler finding a failed transmission once again.Read more

We had to navigate, without warning, across 3 lanes of traffic to pull over on the right side of the highway. They performed a software update, which I have since learned would NEVER fix this problem. We had it happen to us 5 more times, so I took it to another dealership, who initially could not replicate it. In all cases, we had the following check engine light codes be triggered. I have screen shots of them from my personal OBDII reader: P0A43 "Drive Motor 'A' Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent", C2225 "Status: MIL - PCM Disabled EDU: No Sub Type Information". After doing my own reading, it seemed many others have experienced the exact same symptoms and it has required a transmission repair/replace. I also learned most people had a battery charge on the high voltage battery (as this is a plug-in hybrid) when the vehicle shuts down. I charged my van, took it for a ride at 75MPH and it occurred within the first mile. I took it back to the dealership, and at this point, I refuse to drive it until the hardware fix happens. It seems like this should be a recall for all vehicles that can have this problem. It is EXTREMELY unsafe as it occurs at 70MPH+ speeds.Read more

My 2025 Toyota Camry XSE (Hybrid) is subject to an open safety recall issued December 16, 2025. The recall involves a serious safety risk, and I was advised by the dealership not to drive the vehicle. At the time of the recall, the vehicle was approximately two months old with about 1,500 miles and in like-new condition. Because there is currently no available remedy, I was required to leave the
... vehicle stored at the dealership. I have been without use of my own vehicle since January 6, 2026 and am using a loaner vehicle solely due to the safety recall, not by choice. Toyota has stated a fix may not be available until at least Q1 2026, with no defined repair timeline, and customers are being told to wait without interim mitigation. I am concerned about the inability to safely operate my vehicle and the long-term impact of extended storage on a nearly new hybrid vehicle, including hybrid battery health, fuel and fluid systems, seals, tires, and interior and exterior materials. Prior to the recall, the vehicle was routinely garaged and properly maintained, and extended outdoor storage due to the recall introduces risk of premature wear unrelated to normal ownership use. While the dealership has indicated the vehicle may be started periodically, this does not replace normal driving and ownership use. In addition to loss of use, I am required to maintain a $300 monthly loaner vehicle deposit while my vehicle remains unusable due to the recall. Toyota Customer Service has stated they cannot escalate or provide assistance and are instructed to close cases without resolution, creating ongoing financial burden through no fault of my own. Toyota has acknowledged similar recalls on other models lasting extended periods, yet no interim remedy, mitigation plan, or customer relief is offered here. I believe this raises concerns regarding recall remedy timeliness, consumer safety, and loss of use.Read more

I brought the vehicle in for a service and this issue plus the concern of the transmission shuddering. While driving at highway speeds, I experienced multiple loud, intermittent double-knocking noises within a short period of time, followed by an additional grinding/rotational noise at low speeds. These noises were abnormal and raised immediate safety concerns, prompting me to bring the vehicle to a dealer that day. During inspection and test driving, the noise condition was confirmed. Further ins
... pection revealed that a front brake caliper (flange) bolt was missing, and the brake caliper had shifted out of position. This bolt is a critical fastener that secures the brake caliper to the brake assembly and is available for inspection through service records. This condition posed a serious safety risk, as a shifted or unsecured brake caliper could result in reduced braking performance, brake failure, or wheel lock-up, potentially endangering vehicle occupants and other road users. The issue was confirmed by an authorized Honda service center, and the vehicle was inspected by manufacturer-authorized personnel. The vehicle was repaired at no charge by reinstalling the correct hardware and restoring the brake caliper to its proper position. One week later, I have come to find out this is a known issue, and Honda has issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) for 2023–2024 Honda Passport vehicles addressing loose or missing front brake caliper/flange bolts. I never received a recall notice or voluntary letter from Honda notifying me this might be an issue or to have it inspected. No warning lights or messages appeared prior to the incident; the only symptoms were the knocking noises at highway speeds and grinding noise at low speed.Read more

This is in regards to Recall #C4B for the ABS/HCU failure on my 2017 RAM. This recall was issued over a year ago in November of 2024, but Stellantis has yet to DO ANYTHING and can't even tell us when a remedy will be available. I have asked my local dealership and get the same answer, NOTHING!!! The parts must be available, because the dealership told me that I could purchase the part from them
... and pay them to install it. But, I would have to then wait to get reimbursed from Stellantis once the recall is "remedied". Two problems with this; 1) I don't have the $1500+ to spend on this, and 2) I don't trust them to ever pay me back! But, this does tell me that they have the parts. Plus, they have no trouble making and selling new vehicles with parts that don't have this safety failure. Can you make them prioritize this recall and take car of the thousands of RAM trucks with this safety issue. BTW, last month my brother-in-law was driving my truck on I-25 through Denver, CO. He hit an icy spot and lost traction causing him to go into a 360 spin. God was looking over him because he did hit anything or anyone. THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IF THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM WOULD HAVE BEEN WORKING. STELLANTIS CAME VERY CLOSE TO BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS DEATH!!!Read more
