I own one of 311 vehicles specifically identified in this recall regarding "misaligned electrodes" and "shifted cathodes" in the high-voltage battery. I am formally requesting that Volkswagen replace all battery modules within the high-voltage pack of the affected 311 vehicles for the following reasons: 1. Systemic Manufacturing Deviation: The identified root cause—faulty stacker machines at the
... SK On facility—points to a systemic mechanical failure rather than an isolated material defect. Given that these machines were responsible for the layering and alignment of the entire pack, there is no reasonable assurance that the remaining "unflagged" modules do not possess latent alignment deviations that simply haven't triggered a diagnostic flag yet. 2. Safety and Fire Risk: The defect in question is not a performance issue but a critical safety hazard capable of causing thermal runaway. Partial replacement leaves the vehicle owner with a "mixed" battery pack, where older modules may still harbor the same manufacturing inconsistencies, continuing to pose a fire risk to the occupants and the property where the vehicle is parked. 3. Battery Imbalance and Longevity: Replacing only a subset of modules introduces a significant discrepancy in state-of-health (SoH) and internal resistance between new and old modules. This imbalance can lead to accelerated degradation of the remaining modules, reduced driving range, and repeated "Service Required" visits, as evidenced by other EV owners undergoing similar partial module recalls. 4. Diminished Value and Consumer Confidence: The "311 units" designation suggests a high concentration of risk. A vehicle with a history of multiple "surgical" battery repairs due to manufacturing-induced fire risks suffers significantly higher depreciation than those with a factory certified, fully replaced battery system. With 7618 miles it has been in for service 8 times and has had electronic issues for the past 5 visits that are still unresolved.Read more

What happened: In mid-December 2025, my 2020 Silverado 1500 (VIN: [XXX] ) suffered a catastrophic failure of the DEF Tank Assembly (P/N 84914535) at 29,354 miles—less than 30% of its warranted life. This is a latent design defect involving undersized terminal pins that suffer thermal degradation and melt the connector during high-amperage heater operation in arctic conditions (Ref: GM TSB 21-NA-
... 006). Component Availability: The failed assembly is held at the dealership. I have submitted a "Part Preservation Request" to ensure it is available for forensic inspection by federal regulators. Safety Risk: The failure triggers an EPA-mandated "Limp Mode," initiating a software-forced reduction in speed. Unexpectedly losing speed on high-speed, icy Alaskan highways—where roadside snowbanks prevent safe egress—creates an extreme risk of rear-end collisions. Furthermore, a vehicle restricted to 5 MPH or rendered inoperable in temperatures of -30°F to -50°F poses a direct, life-threatening risk of cold-weather exposure in remote areas. Confirmation: Failure was confirmed by Lithia Chevrolet GMC of Fairbanks on Jan 7, 2026. GDS2 diagnostic verified DTCs P20B9, P20C1, P205D, and P204C. Data was reviewed by the GM District Manager of Aftersales (DMA) and GM Customer Assistance (Case #[XXX]). Warning Symptoms: Check Engine lamp and "Service Emission System" message appeared in mid-Dec 2025, followed by a "Speed Limited" countdown. The electrical disconnect was abrupt due to terminal pin melting, as documented in my forensic engineering report. I’m writing to ask for you all to honor the recall for my jeep. I purchased a 2022 Jeep Wrangler in April of 2025 Months after the purchase I began to notice that on certain road conditions that my vehicle would shake violently back and forth at higher speeds if I hit a bump. As you can tell this causes great concern for mine and my children's well being. My teen son is also driving my vehicl
... e which is also a concern. I've had it looked at by multiple shops who all state that the vehicle has a recall on the steering damper as it can create a death wobble. I attempted to take it to the Jeep dealership in Boulder, CO who refused to look at it stating my jeep doesnt count. However the mechanic and online states that it will honor any jeep that appears to have this issue to be looked at and fixed as you all were sued and claimed to have fixed the problem yet it still continues, and Jeep offers this as an extended offer for all jeeps. Jeep is refusing to honor the extended recall. So I am filing a complaint to get this fixed as this issue is not of my doing, not wear and tear.Read more

I am submitting this complaint regarding a confirmed safety recall on my 2022 Kia K5 LX that has not been repaired and currently has no available remedy, despite being acknowledged by Kia. This unresolved recall places me, my passengers, and other motorists at ongoing risk. I rely on this vehicle for daily transportation, and continuing to operate it under these conditions creates a constant safe
... ty concern that is beyond my control. I have been informed that the recall exists, yet there has been no corrective action, repair timeline, or interim safety solution provided. Leaving consumers in possession of a known defective vehicle without a remedy is unacceptable, especially when the issue involves safety-related components. I am requesting that the NHTSA: •Review Kia’s handling of this recall •Require timely corrective action or an interim safety solution •Ensure accountability so affected drivers are not left operating unsafe vehicles indefinitely I am deeply concerned about the lack of urgency and transparency surrounding this issue. A confirmed safety recall without a remedy is not a minor inconvenience; it is a serious hazard. Thank you for your attention to this matter. While traveling on a highway at approximately 70 mph, the vehicle experienced a sudden and severe loss of motive power. At the same time, the dashboard illuminated multiple warning lights simultaneously and the vehicle entered limp mode without warning. The vehicle rapidly decelerated and was unable to maintain speed with surrounding traffic. This created an immediate and serious safety hazard and
... nearly resulted in a collision, as vehicles behind were approaching at highway speed. The driver was forced to make an emergency maneuver to reach the shoulder and stop to avoid a crash. After this incident, the vehicle was parked and not driven. Several days later, the vehicle would start and shift normally, but would not move in Drive, Reverse, or any gear. The gear selector moves and the gear indicator changes, but the vehicle does not engage or move at all. The engine revs normally with no propulsion. This condition is consistent and reproducible. The failure appears to involve the continuously variable transmission (CVT) or an internal drivetrain component. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This defect posed a significant risk to the safety of the driver and other motorists due to the sudden loss of propulsion at highway speed and the inability to safely maintain speed or clear traffic. The later total loss of drive further increases the risk of becoming stranded in unsafe locations such as roadways or intersections. A Honda dealership was contacted but did not provide a resolution. No repairs have been performed. No collision occurred. No police report filed.Read more

When I turned my car on, the airbag system (SRS) Problem light was on. I was worried if it was an airbag problem, or sensor problem, so I brought the vehicle in for inspection at two locations. Therefore, I mad

Upon inspection and a partial diagnosis (they didn't took apart my vehicle near the wheel or touch screen/audio for the sensor underneath), I was told I had a sensor problem under the front passenger seat with the code error U3000-49. However, I was told that my vehicle was not covered under the safety recall. I'm afraid of whether my airbags will be working properly if the sensor isn't working. There was no warning lights, symptoms of problems, or messages prior to the sensor light turning on.Read more

My name is [XXX] I am a [XXX] widow, and I am also a 100% Disabled (Combat Wounded, Purple Heart receipient) Marine Corps veteran. I purchased my 2017 Kia Sorento brand new from Lion County Kia in State College Pennsylvania. After a couple of years, I noticed while driving on several random trips, that my Kia's steering felt like it had stopped working, and I had to fight to keep my Kia cente
... red in my lane. I took it to Lion County Kia, and complained about this issue, while my Kia was still under warranty. The Lion Country Kia Service Tech. claimed that they could not find the issue with my steering (Becasue there was no "Alert Light" in my Kia's computer. A few years later corporate Kia acknowledged there is an issue with the power steering assist motor and sent a document stating that this part will be warranty past the original warranty to 15 years or 150,000 miles. I let my grandson use my vehicle and the same continual steering failure happened to him. I then took my Kia to Team Kia in, Johnstown Pa, and paid to have a diagnostic test completed Team Kia's test showed in a writen document that my Sorento has a Faulty "Motor Driven Power Steering" unit. I sent the Team Kia's Test Results to Kia Corp. power steering assist motor, so Kia corporate is aware that my Sorento defenitly does have a "M.D.P.S." problem. I contacted Kia corporation and they informed me that because there is no indicator light or computer code present on my Kia, they will not warrant the power steering assist motor. In my opinion Kia Corp. is willingly placing an unsafe vehicle on the roadway. This Faulty "Motor Assist Power Steeing" not only puts the operator of my vehicle at risk, but this issue also puts all vehicles close to me on the roadway at risk. This issue has me so concerned that I am forced to ride my trike instead of driving my Kia. Driving my Kia, with this Steering Problem, is definately a Severe Safety Issue. Engine safety concern. Grinding and clunking while engine is running and gets worse under load or when accelerating. Have taken into dealer for service over 6 times. Recall service was performed and their fix was to change to a thicker oil but all that caused was worse fuel economy, more expensive oil changes, and the noises have become worse. Going back to dealer next week for another attempt. Ha

To Whom It May Concern: The purpose of my complaint is to bring to your attention reprehensible policies and misconduct displayed by the automaker, Acura, the premium subsidiary brand of the American Honda Motor Company. On 11/18/2025, I brought in my 2021 Acura TLX Tech w/SH-AWD in for a problem related to the brakes. The front brakes were and continue to make a jarring, very loud, high-pitched s
... queaking noise at low speeds. After 4 hours at Radley Acura of Falls Church, VA, the technician stated "could not duplicate" the concern. The problem persisted and I again returned on 12/18/2025 for the same issue. My vehicle has been at the dealership awaiting a response from Acura Client Relations on a claim that I submitted on 12/19/2025. Radley Acura diagnosed the issue as a well-known defect of 2021 TLX models, as evidenced by Acura's own service bulletin describing the very issue I continue to experience (and yet were unable to diagnose on 11/18). Radley Acura is stating that although my vehicle is 28,000+ miles UNDER the manufacturer's warranty, that by time, since purchase, it is outside the manufacturer's warranty by approximately 6 months. However, on 1/27/2025 (when my car was within manufacturer warranty and only had 17,215 miles on the odometer), I completed a lease buyout of my car. In addition, I paid to have it Acura Precision Certified. As part of this paid certification, Radley had my car for over a day to allegedly perform a 182-point inspection, and address a recall open for over a year (with a remedy from Acura - but allegedly no available repair parts to fix my car, until I requested to CPO my at the time of lease buyout). During their CPO inspection, the dealership failed to address the open service bulletin on the front brakes--a documented issue Acura has been aware of since before 2/15/2022, as established by their service bulletin. Now the dealership is stating the manufacturer's defect that they failed to address is $500 out of pocket expense.Read more

My vehicle is affected by a serious safety defect involving engine fire risk. FCA US LLC Stellantis has issued a safety recall 78C/NHTSA 25V-766 for this condition and has publicly stated that the remedy for this condition is not currently available. I have been instructed to park outside and limit the use of the vehicle. This defect presents an unreasonable risk of fire and is unsafe and unreliab
... le. A loss of drive power may result in a vehicle crash without prior warning. This defect poses a substantial impairment of use, value, and safety. This defect poses a substantial danger to life, health, and property. This defect constitutes a serious safety hazard, and FCA US LLC Stellantis has failed to provide a timely or effective repair remedy. Because no repair is currently available, the vehicle is unsafe to operate. Under Texas law, a manufacturer is not permitted unlimited time to develop a repair when a vehicle presents a dangerous condition. I have sent a demand letter on January 8, 2026 to FCA US LLC Stellantis, certified mail return receipt of my demand to buyback the vehicle at the paid purchase price, including sales tax, finance charges, down payment, registration fees, etc.Read more

Tesla driver seat folding down and moving forward automatically, especially when the driver is seated: It keeps happening when I enter the car. It might be triggered by my pressing the brake before i decide to start driving, or even while I am simply parked for a while, without giving any instructions to the seat. My searches online point to the easy entry setting. This dangerous behaviour is not
... part of a correct definition of easy entry. Why are sensors and stupid programming now allowed to override the safety of the driver? There is no such thing as "correctly detecting the driver or not" dangerous stupidities with older and even more mechanical driver seats, and with older versions of motorised driver seats in other cars. The seat was not empty and the seated driver gave no movement and no folding instructions to the tesla car driver seat.Read more

I have a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the 6.2L engine. I received the recall notice about the loss of propulsion due to a crankshaft issue. The safety of myself, family, friends and coworkers who ride with me on an everyday basis were put at risk because of the faulty engine. I brought my truck in for an oil change in August 2025. I had the Team Chevrolet dealership in Las Vegas Nevada do a teles
... copic inspection to see if my particular engine had the recall issue. It was discovered the engine did have the recall issue and was kept by the dealership for roughly two and a half months. Chevrolet has confirmed this is a major issue and is affecting roughly 600,000 people. There was no sign of the issue before the telescopic inspection but since the engine has been replaced I have now had three separate issues with misfiring cylinders on the new engine. The plugs and wires have been replaced twice and has not resolved the issue. When the misfires have occurred there were error codes, check engine light notification, and engine sputtering. This again has endangered the safety of myself, family members, friends, and coworkers who ride in my truck on a daily basis. This is now going on four months of issues that keep persisting and I am very concerned that both the manufacturer Chevrolet and the Team Chevrolet dealership are not taking the proper steps in order to solve this very serious issue.Read more

Just after merging from I-65 North to 264 East at 65 mph in Louisville KY on November 14th, the display indicated to "press start" and the engine stalled. I was only able to get the vehicle about 3 inches off of the left side of the yellow line before running out of inertia. I was stuck there for 2 hours while waiting for a tow truck. The first truck could not lift my vehicle because with the e
... ngine off, the electric shifter would not move out of park. A second tow truck was called with dolly's and then a 3rd tow truck was required to block traffic. During this 2 hour period several cars swerved left of the yellow line and I was in fear for my life. The traffic was so heavy that I was trapped between the concrete median wall and the left lane. I called 911 to ask for a safety vehicle to shield me from traffic, but they never arrived as promised.Read more
