For the third time, my windshield wipers quit working in the middle of a rain/snow storm. Have taken the vehicle into GM service under warranty twice, the first time they updated the software but that repair only lasted a few months. Second time they replaced the windshield sensor, that lasted a few months. Now today, driving home in the snow my wipers quit working altogether. The sprayer worked,

My vehicle experienced a brake system failure that rendered it unsafe to drive and required it to be towed to the dealership. I have been informed by the dealer that the issue involves a failure of the left rear brake caliper. The vehicle is currently out of service at the dealership. Because this issue affects the braking system, it is a significant safety concern.

UNKNOWN what failed because it burned to the ground. August 8, 2025 The Jeep was running and driving normal. I pulled over into Robert Louis Stevenson Park parking area to let my kids (ages 3 and 4) out for a potty break. I left the vehicle running since it was hot and the AC was on. As I was getting my first child out smoke started pouring out of the passenger side wheel well and hood, coming
... from the engine compartment. I got my kids out in a hurry and there were flames within about 45 seconds. The Jeep was fully engulfed within about 2 minutes. Fire department took 12 minutes to arrive on scene and extinguish the Jeep fire and accompanying tree that had caught on fire. All of my belongings inside the vehicle were destroyed and not covered under the vehicle insurance policy. I am grateful I managed to get my kids out of the car and to safety and that we are all okay, but this was an extremely dangerous situation and we are lucky we pulled over where we did. I reached out to Stellantis, and they sent out an investigator, but he was bound by privacy rules with them, and nobody ever told me what they found other than Stellantis sending a letter saying "they are not led to believe it was a manufacturing responsibility." Additionally, there was a police report filed with Napa, CA California Highway Patrol Office, as another car was melted a bit during the incident. There were ZERO warnings that anything was wrong with the vehicle while driving. Nothing to indicate that something catastrophic was about to happen or that anything was wrong at all. The Jeep only had 27,000 miles on it and had been dealer serviced its entire life and only 1,000 miles prior to this incident as well.Read more

The contact owns a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS450. The contact heard an abnormal humming sound when the vehicle was started, and the humming sound grew louder over time. The contact believed that the humming sound was coming from the driver's side headlamp. The contact stated that the headlamp was equipped with a small internal fan to dissipate heat. Additionally, other electrical failures were occurri

The vehicle was repaired; however, the humming sound returned. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on two more occasions, and the dealer replaced the timing belt and the alternator, however the failure reoccurred. Recently, while touching the door handle, the contact heard a humming sound that was very loud. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and it was determined that the driver's side headlamp assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V626000 (Electrical System, Steering, Exterior Lighting, Visibility); however, the VIN was not included. My 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 has experienced two ICCU (Integrated Charging Control Unit) failures, both completely immobilizing the vehicle. •First failure: November 2024 •Second failure: December 31, 2025 (confirmed by dealer 1/13/26) •Downtime: Over 45 days total •All recall work and maintenance were performed at the same Hyundai dealer, under active warranty, but the recall did not prevent t

The second failure after recall indicates the repair is inadequate. Luckily mine failed at home before departing for an errand, but I am gravely concerned about others not as fortunate or for myself should the issue recur while I am traveling on a public road. Examples of this are reported online in a variety of forums. Widespread Issue: Thousands of owners report similar ICCU failures, often after recall repairs, on forums and social media. There is also ongoing Canadian litigation addressing the same defect. Requested Action: •Investigate repeated ICCU failures in Hyundai/Kia EVs •Evaluate the adequacy of recall repairs •Require Hyundai to implement a permanent fix •Take appropriate safety action to protect vehicle ownersRead more

I am submitting this complaint regarding a serious safety and operability issue involving my 2018 Land Rover Range Rover, which has rendered the vehicle inoperable and unsafe to drive. Within approximately four months of purchase, the vehicle experienced repeated mechanical failures, including persistent check engine warnings, limp mode activation, failed compression testing, fuel injector failur
... es across all cylinders, exhaust and turbo-related faults, and a full diesel particulate filter (DPF). The vehicle currently will not perform as designed and is unsafe to operate. The vehicle was repeatedly brought to Jaguar Land Rover South Orlando for service. Despite assurances that diagnostics showed “no issues,” the vehicle rapidly deteriorated and ultimately became inoperable. While in the dealership’s custody, additional concerns arose, including unauthorized third-party access to my vehicle without my consent and delays in releasing the vehicle for towing. Additionally, when the vehicle was finally released, the battery was fully depleted despite the vehicle being in the dealership’s possession and not operated by me, raising further concerns about improper handling. The dealership has quoted repair costs exceeding $13,500 and has refused to assist, citing “as-is” sale status, despite the vehicle failing shortly after purchase and exhibiting severe engine-related defects. These failures pose a potential safety risk due to loss of power, limp mode activation, and inability to safely operate the vehicle. I am concerned that these issues may reflect a broader defect pattern in this model year. I am requesting that NHTSA document this complaint and evaluate whether these engine, fuel system, and emissions-related failures present a safety defect warranting further investigation.Read more
