I own a 2022 Ford Bronco. My vehicle has an electronic brake booster failure that causes multiple warning messages, brake system faults, and loss or reduction of brake assist. When this happens, the vehicle also prevents the 4-wheel drive system from engaging or switching modes. This is especially dangerous during winter conditions. When driving in snow or slippery conditions, I am unable to enga
... ge 4WD when it is needed most, while also experiencing brake system warnings. The vehicle becomes difficult to control and does not feel safe to drive. The dealership confirmed this is a known issue affecting multiple Ford Broncos and that the electronic brake booster part is currently back-ordered and unavailable. I was told many vehicles are affected, yet there is no recall for the 2022 model year, even though newer model years have a recall for the same component. This issue creates a serious safety risk due to impaired braking performance and inability to use 4-wheel drive in hazardous conditions. The vehicle had to be parked due to safety concerns. and the he issue happens intermittently, making it unpredictable.Read more

Starting back in June 2025 Loss of engine power multiple times. Many times almost hit from behind as I turned onto a highway. They attempted the repair and tried to hand it back to me. 1/27/26 Was recently told this was corrected, and the sales person told me when he picked it up from shop he couldn’t go more than 30 mph. Dealership management told him not to tell me. I am submitting this complaint for immediate review regarding Ruiz Ranch Motors (Spring Branch, TX) for an illegal vehicle sale, prolonged withholding of my vehicle, misrepresentation of a “loaner” vehicle, and coercive threats involving law enforcement. This matter involves ongoing safety risks, financial harm, and improper dealer conduct affecting both myself and my minor child. Summary of Key Facts (Concise): • On June 25, 2025, I purchased a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado (VIN 1GCUYHET7MZ155657) from Ruiz Ranch Motors, financed through Ally Financial. • The vehicle was subject to a GM Stop-Sale / No-Sale Safety Recall (NHTSA 24V797000) at or around the time of sale. • I repeatedly raised safety concerns beginning shortly after purchase. These concerns were dismissed for months. • In November, Ruiz Ranch Motors took possession of my 2021 Silverado under the representation that they were “working on trade numbers” and a solution to correct the experience. Misrepresented “Loaner / Trade” Vehicle: • I was provided a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado, represented as a potential trade option, no trade was made (only dealership delay) this vehicle now has a engine light and no cooperation from dealershipRead more

The speedometer on the new 2025 Volkswagen Taos undervalues the speed by 5%. For example, if the SUV speedometer says 40 mph the actual speed of the vehicle is 42 mph. This seems to be a known problem on new Taos vehicles but is not being addressed by Volkswagen. They are saying legally a 10% variance is allowed and the vehicle passes electrical tests. This problem has been reported to corporate a
... nd two dealerships and has a case number. Speed was noticed by driver after going the speed limit on a street near a baseball field with a sign and flashing speedometer. Waze and Google Maps gps also confirm the 5% variance. This problem causes unintentional speeding, reduced reaction time and stopping distance, difficulty matching traffic flow and misjudgment of vehicle control.Read more

PART 4 SUBARU STRUT ISSUE How come no one can tell me what’s actually wrong. Was this a faulty part or was it not installed correctly, who knows, no one can tell me. They had my car for atleast a week the first t
... ime, so why not take the time to fix it right. The fact remains though, the problem was never initially fixed. You again let me drive an unsafe vehicle which caused premature wear on the tire, and god knows what else. On multiple occasions of inspections you said you found nothing or the vehicle was fine, when it wasn’t. This has created anxiety for me when driving my car, and visiting your facility. I don’t feel comfortable or trust this dealership, service department, or any staff there. I can feel the awkwardness with every visit and the bias that has now been created, but I did not create it, all I did was document and report my experience. Let my complaint serve as record and as a reference for any future complaints, investigations, or similar concerns that others may report.Read more

Part 3 SUBARU STRUT ISSUE I called the service department at Peltier Subaru and told them what happened and that I should be reimbursed for the tire. I was told that I needed to bring the tire in so that it could be inspected, along with the car to make there wasn’t something else going on. I talked with the service manager and he talked with his manager, who okayed a reimbursement verbally to
... me which was witnessed by the service manager. They said a check would be mailed from the finance department, which never happened. Supposedly they inspected the vehicle while I was in the lobby, and they found nothing, nothing at all. Basically this was another waste of time and money on my part. I live an hour away, they don’t give you a gas card, or even wash your car, just you have a good day sir, that they really don’t mean. Next I’m due for an oil change, which I scheduled over the phone and I mentioned noise coming from the same area that was fixed, or they never found anything wrong with. I took everything out of my car to pinpoint the noise and make sure it wasn’t a tool or something else moving around in the car. On Friday, December 12th, 2025 I go in for the oil change and for diagnosis of the noise coming from the same area that they strut was already replaced. Turns out it’s the strut again, and they have to order the part, and I’m told my car is fine to drive home till the part comes in and that I don’t need a loner. Now I have to come back on Thursday, December 18th, 2025 to get the strut replaced again.Read more

Complaint Description The vehicle is equipped with a Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission that exhibits erratic and unpredictable shifting behavior. The transmission frequently hesitates, shifts harshly, or delays engagement, particularly when accelerating from a stop, slowing down, or attempting to merge into traffic. At times, the vehicle fails to deliver power when the accelerator is pr
... essed, creating a delay in acceleration. This is especially dangerous when pulling into intersections, making left turns across traffic, or merging onto roadways where immediate and predictable power is required to avoid collisions. The transmission also downshifts harshly and unexpectedly, causing sudden jerking and brief deceleration. These events can occur without warning and increase the risk of loss of vehicle control or rear-end collisions, particularly in stop-and-go traffic or at low speeds. In addition, the transmission often clunks or lurches into gear, including when shifting from park to drive or reverse. This creates unsafe conditions in parking lots and low-speed environments where precise vehicle control is necessary to avoid pedestrians or other vehicles. Because these issues occur inconsistently and without warning, the driver cannot reliably anticipate vehicle response. This unpredictability represents a safety defect that increases the risk of a crash during normal driving conditions.Read more

The GM Shift to Park recall has been an issue that has affected various General Motors (GM) vehicles. The primarily impacting Chevrolet models like the Malibu, Traverse, Volt, and the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. This situation poses a potential safety concern, as drivers might mistakenly assume their cars are securely parked and powered off while walking away. The issue has been prevalent enough for the company to issue a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) on June 7, 2021. The TSB specifically targets the 2017-2018 GMC Acadia, while also mentioning the Malibu, Traverse, Volt, and other 2016-2019 Chevrolet models. I am submitting this complaint due to a potential safety-related engine failure that occurred while my vehicle was under dealership repair. My vehicle was dropped off at Huffines Hyundai on October 2, 2025, for a fuel injector issue and has remained under the dealership’s exclusive possession since that date. I have not driven or had access to the vehicle after drop-off. During the repair proce
... ss, I was informed by dealership staff that an injector was seized in the fuel rail and difficult to remove. Although the injector replacement was documented as a short repair, the work was delayed and completed on October 16, 2025. Immediately following this repair, on October 17, 2025, the engine was documented by the dealership as having low compression. I was not notified of this condition until October 27, 2025. The engine damage occurred while the vehicle was under dealership control and immediately following a repair involving seized components. The diagnostic documentation provided to me is incomplete and does not include compression PSI values or supporting data. I am concerned that improper repair or handling may have caused internal engine damage, resulting in a condition that could lead to engine failure or unsafe operation. Due to the circumstances and lack of transparency, I do not feel the vehicle is safe to operate and am concerned about the risk of engine failure.Read more

On October 2025 there was a mass incident in different areas of Queens NY in were airbags from Honda CRVs were stolen. The vehicle was sent to a body shop to have the airbag replaced but American Honda Motor Co., Inc does not have any available to distribute. We have reached out to them but there respond has been " We apologize for any inconvenince or delay this matter has caused you. Currently th
... e part(s) ETA is to be determined." No dealer has extra parts and the part cant be found anywhere else. We are looking to get this resolved being that 3 months have now passed and there is no "ETA" of the part being available for costumers. It is not something that should be happening to a loyal costumer that has purchased a vehicle without having the option to get parts (as per American Honda they are not out of stock and they are manufacturing but they are just not available for distibution). In cases like this parts should be available to be replaced in cases of an emergency, let alone a safety part like an airbag.Read more

Each time I turn on the air conditioning and the air begins to blow cold, my engine temperature rises significantly and causes the vehicle to overheat. This issue occurs consistently a
... nd makes it unsafe to operate the vehicle while using the air conditioning. Overheating poses a serious safety risk and may lead to engine damage or sudden breakdowns. Given that this problem appears to be directly connected to the operation of the air conditioning system, I am concerned that this may be a known defect or design issue that has not been addressed through a recall. I am requesting that this issue be formally documented, investigated, and addressed. I would appreciate guidance on next steps, including inspection, repair options, or whether this issue has been reported by other 2016 Ford Focus owners. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.Read more
