At this time, the original alternator that came with the Tahoe, was running high through December and replaced with a new alternator from Parts Geek. After a certain amount of time the battery gauge will move to the highest point, the warning lights of ABs, traction control, stabilitrak, trailer brake light, battery light (first time on 1/27/2026 for battery light), loss of drivers assist on 1/26/2026, tire pressure light, car dies coming to a stop sign. I can’t turn it back on for at least a min. I’m stuck inside with zero power, can’t unlock the doors to get out to direct traffic, open windows or put on 4 ways so I don’t get smacked in the middle of the road. After that minute I heard a click (no key in ignition, not trying to start) and then the dash lights started coming back on again and I started it. The battery did not restart the time on the radio screen so I’m assuming I didn’t die fully. The radio screen always goes black first, then the heat goes in and out, the warning lights come on and it dies. Takes a minute or so to be able to start it again and the lights aren’t on anymore but will continue to do the same shit after awhile of driving and now daily. I’m afraid to drive it anywhere since almost getting stuck inside and plowed at an interaction. I have reached out to Chevy about this problem and was referred to take it back to the dealership again, and to reach back out as soon as it’s there to open a case on the issue.Ive had it, this has been ongoing for a year, and I have to keep paying for things that doesn’t fix the issue and it’s getting worse.Read more

My truck was driving fine and suddenly on January 20th my truck seized on the highway on my way to work at 7am. A warning light marking low oil pressure turn off engine was marking on my dashboard. They have not provided any confirmation that NHTSA approved a revised recall population. They also have not offered a replacement, refund, or clear safety guidance, leaving me without a usable helmet. I am concerned that LS2 is minimizing or misrepresenting the scope of the recall and delaying required remedies. I am requesting NHTSA’s assistance to ensure the manufacturer complies with the official recall and provides a remedy consistent with federal requirements. Authorized Subaru dealership Huberger Subaru in Colorado Springs documented the following: - Replacement of the transmission secondary pressure sensor - Replacement of the engine wiring harness - Check engine light returned after repair - Confirmed oil contamination of the ECM Despite repeated repairs and part replacements, the vehicle remains out of service for over seven months, with no confirmed timeline for resolution. Subaru of America has not provided meaningful updates or a clear repair plan, and corporate representatives have failed to respond to emails and phone calls. The extended downtime and lack of repair constitute a safety concern, as the vehicle could fail while in use under certain conditions. Additionally, $400 was improperly withdrawn from my account in July 2025 for rental reimbursement during the warranty repair period and has not been refunded. Engine power was lost while traveling on an interstate, forcing me to pull onto the shoulder without propulsion. T
... he loss-of-power event occurred more than once during the same trip. The vehicle was towed to an authorized Cadillac dealership for inspection. Dealer diagnosis confirmed internal mechanical engine failure, including metal debris present in the engine oil, requiring full engine replacement. During diagnostic procedures, the dealership also identified electrical communication faults involving the serial data gateway module, including voltage fluctuation and wiring chafing within the vehicle harness. These faults caused loss-of-communication conditions between control modules and required repair. Safety Risk: The loss of propulsion occurred at highway speed with passengers present in the vehicle, creating a serious safety hazard. Sudden power loss on an interstate increased the risk of collision due to the inability to maintain speed or maneuver safely in traffic. Confirmation / Inspection: The failure was confirmed by an authorized Cadillac dealership. The engine was removed and replaced due to internal damage. The dealership is currently demanding the return of their loaner vehicle, which would leave my family stranded in dangerous, sub-zero conditions. When I started my car at home, all of the dash warning lights came on, one after another. I put the car in reverse and started backing out of my driveway. I tried to stop but there were NO BRAKES! They can't get me in until mid February so I'm stuck with this problem, not knowing if the brakes are going to fail while driving. Oddly enough, when talking to a co-worker who has a 2023 Chevrolet Suburban, she recently had the same exact problem with her car. She has an appointment scheduled as well. I also read a complaint on this website that had identical problems. This car only has 8500 miles on it. It's still new! 2020 Ford F250 with 85,000 miles. We purchased new and all maintenance has been done on time and by Ford Service. Transmission began jerking when going from park to drive (or reverse). ... n is not shifting gears smoothly when the truck is in motion. This is a known problem with trucks manufactured during this time period with 10R80 transmissions. Ford has been less than helpful in helping me come to a resolution. They tell me there was a TSB sent out. They attempted to reprogram software (at a cost of $424 to me). I will upload the invoice from Ford. This only made the problem worse. They quoted me a "special price" of $8,500 to replace the transmission, however their service department is SIX WEEKS out. For this reason we have chosen to have the transmission replaced at a local transmission shop. Their price is $9,932.41. I have attached that invoice. Ford needs to take accountability for this safety problem and attempt to make these vehicles safe. They should absorb at least some of the cost to fix this design problem. We paid full price to purchase a new, safe vehicle. That is not what we received. Rather than a "Technical Service Bulletin", Ford should be forced to do a recall and make this right for customers who paid top dollar for these vehicles.Read more

The suburban pulls to side. I got it into the service center and they tried to fix the alignment but when we got it back it still does it. So im not driving it til it gets a second opinion because its definitely not the alignment if it is still doing it. So I dont feel safe driving it with me or especially my kids in it.
