While driving my 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, the vehicle repeatedly displays diagnostic trouble code P2138 (Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor Voltage Correlation). The vehicle suddenly enters “Reduced Engine Power” mode without warning and loses acceleration while driving. This occurs daily and multiple times per day, both on highways and local roads. When the issue happens, the vehicle will not pro
... perly accelerate and loses power unexpectedly. This creates a serious safety hazard, especially in highway traffic, as I am unable to maintain speed or accelerate to avoid other vehicles. I have had to maneuver carefully or move toward the shoulder to avoid potential collisions. The throttle body has already been replaced; however, the problem continues to occur. The defect has not been corrected and remains ongoing and reproducible. I am currently [XXX] pregnant and drive this vehicle daily for work and to transport my [XXX] child to school. The unexpected loss of power places both myself and my child at risk while operating the vehicle in active traffic. This defect presents a significant safety concern due to repeated and sudden loss of engine power while driving. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Unknown..... the transmission in my truck began the shutter and shake like I was running over the rumble strip. The truck was at one point locked into 4x4 and even stuck in reverse and almost got me ran over by a diesel when I couldn't get out of his way until the very last second. Im not the only one with this issue. Gm has been knowingly mass producing these defective transmissions and selling
... them to the public with no notication to the consumers. This is obviously defrauding the consumers out of not only there money but also many of there livelihoods. As many families depend on there trucks in order to financially support there families. As mine does. Gm sold defective equipment. Completely aware that they where defective this is fraud and they should be held liable for there actions.Read more

The transmission blew in 2023. I purchased the vehicle from Fox Ford (first mistake) and they sent me to the local Nissan dealer to fix it. It was covered under dealer warranty at the time. Fast forward to 1/30/26. My car is fully paid off and I’m driving home from work with my daughter in the backseat and, my worst nightmare occurred; the transmission blew again! The only reason I purchased thi
... s vehicle in the first place by the way is because a police officer ran a red light in 2020 and smucked us and didn’t have a single repercussion but, I digress. Anyway, I was able to pull into the median on the highway (luckily I was able to get there and not have the car die in the middle of the highway lane) and call 911 for support. My car was towed to Riverside where it still sits. I don’t have any updated paperwork because Nissan is indicating it’s not covered under warranty even though this is a known issue with Rogues and clearly already an immediate issue to me because it had been fixed previously in this particular vehicle. I would like this safety issue to be known as well as the fact that instead of the dealership and Nissan as a company caring or trying to help me in this process, they’ve had me go on a wild goose chase and the saga continues. I simply want the issue to be fixed and justice to be served so that hundreds of thousands of other families don’t have to suffer. Luckily my husband was able to rearrange his schedule and assist with transportation until I begrudgingly was able to purchase a new vehicle but, many individuals do not have that privilege. What a shame that money is cared about more than human lives.Read more

1. Fuel Pump failure occurred September 4th 2025 2. While towing a travel trailer from Raleigh NC to Surf City NC. With a line of vehicle's behind us, including tractor trailers this created very serious safety situation not only for us but other travelers he

No the problem has not been reproduced. 4. Yes the dealer, Capital Ford, Inc of Raleigh, NC has inspected and confirmed root cause to be fuel pump recall. 5. I do not recall the exact amount of time but I do recall the hesitation, I told my wife something is not right, engine stalled and we lost all power. I bought my car at McGrath Hyundai in chicago in May 2021. It’s been in their shop 30 plus times for various and repeated issues. Hyundai and McGrath repeatedly
... misdiagnosed and refused to fix these issues when they were first brought to their attention when under 60,000 miles. NOW that the car is over 60,000 miles, conveniently they’re stating that it’s out of warranty and will cost $2k. The technicians and service advisor Christine Tonelli at McGrath, knowingly and willfully misdiagnosed my car, attempting to cover up the issues stating that there was no issue. They said the seat belt was fine and the wiring wasn’t the issue for the high mount d brake light and kept changing the bulb. They knew it should have known there was a seat belt issue with it not retracting and the same with the high mount d brake light. Suddenly after 60,000 miles, they now state I was right the whole time by telling me it will be $2000 to fix it. I have all service records and emails.Read more

First off, I should say that I generally love my Polestar 2. I've enjoyed owning it. However, I the infotainment system performance is dangerous. The incredibly slow time to open apps and the lag in response to inputs forces a driver to split attention between the screen and the road for far too long. For example, after clicking on Google Maps it may take 3-4 seconds to load, an additional few sec
... onds to be ready to accept inputs (such as an address), a few seconds to return search results, a few seconds to respond to a tap on a location, and a few more seconds to load directions. All told it can be 15-30 seconds to load directions, even for saved locations. The issues are most noticeable with Maps given how often I use them. But there are also lags in vehicle controls, such as climate, radio controls, and other apps like Amazon Music. As best as possible I use the infotainment system before I start driving or while I'm stopped at a light. Sometimes I will pull over to avoid distraction. But there are times when that isn't possible (such as freeway driving). But it shouldn't be this hard. Or this dangerous. You should not be forced to split attention for this long between the screen and the road. Unfortunately, voice controls are similarly slow and unreliable. I try to use OK Google when possible but even here I have to split my attention. After saying "OK Google" it can take several seconds to load and I have to watch the screen to see when it's ready to listen. And then it responds to commands at best half the time with lags or failures for command that should work "Navigate to location X" or "Play Musician Y on Amazon Music". You then have to go back to the slow manual inputs on the screen. This goes beyond an inconvenience to a danger. This is a known issue and Polestar has not taken steps to resolve it. I believe they should for all Polestar 2 owners.Read more

My 2020 Ram 1500 equipped with the 5.7L HEMI eTorque system has experienced repeated failures of the charging system due to the belt starter generator (BSG) / 48-volt hybrid system. The vehicle has shut off unexpectedly while driving in traffic, resulting in sudden loss of engine power and loss of power steering assist. This created a dangerous situation where I had limited ability to control the
... vehicle and had to coast to the side of the road. The truck has also stalled at low speeds and intersections, requiring a restart while in traffic. When the failure occurs, warning messages related to the charging system or hybrid system may appear, and the vehicle becomes difficult to maneuver due to loss of steering assist. The underlying cause has been identified as failure of the eTorque belt starter generator (BSG) and/or associated 48-volt system components. The vehicle’s 12-volt battery is no longer properly charged, leading to repeated dead battery conditions. I am currently forced to recharge the battery daily to keep the vehicle operational. Replacement parts for this system (Mopar part number 68623194AC or superseding versions) are on national backorder with no estimated availability. My vehicle has been affected for approximately five months, leaving it unreliable and unsafe to operate. This defect creates a serious safety hazard because the vehicle can lose propulsion and steering assist without warning while in motion, increasing the risk of a crash. I am reporting this issue so that NHTSA can investigate potential safety defects in the eTorque hybrid system used in Ram 1500 vehicles.Read more
