The part on my truck in question is the "OEM Actuator Manifold Runner", or "ISV Actuator", or "Swirl Valve Actuator". I've seen the part called several things online. My mechanic and dealerships I've visited with tell me this part is on major back order and 300+ individuals nationwide are also waiting on the part. I'm told there is no open recall for this part. My truck is currently not safe t
... o drive and the part is unavailable. There needs to be a recall placed on this part that so many people are having the same issue with and cannot obtain the parts needed to repair the issue. This is costing me thousands of dollars worth of rental car fees, and I still have no estimated timeframe on when this part will be available. Again, there should be a recall on this part. Based on what I've read online this part availability issue is not new. If not a recall, this part must be under warranty after the abundance of cases related to this part. How can I get a solution to this issue?Read more

Hello, I has problems driving my car like by brakes braking out of nowhere. There was even a couple times I felt like the car swerved, even though I did not do anything to the steering wheel. Then I found out I had a recall that said not to drive the car because it was dangerous so I parked it in my driveway and I have not driven it for many months as I’ve been getting rental cars. Eventually, I
... brought it into Antelope Valley Chevrolet and they told me they were going to fix it but then they actually told me that I had to pay around $1000 for a part that I found out later only cost under $100 and takes three minutes to put in. This is apart from Chevrolet and not some knock off from China that I found for under $100 online. So I’m a little upset that I came in for a recall and they’re trying to get me to do a repair for almost $2000. They never even offered me a rental car and they’re threatening me saying that if we don’t move forward with it, they’re gonna charge me $50 a day for storage. I feel like they’re intimidating me to try to make me traded in for a new one, but I am not ready to get a new one. I just want to get my car on the road again.Read more

I drove my vehicle to the nearest Kelley Car Parts store and they filled the reservior for me and suggested I get the vehicle to Hiley Mazda asap. I called Mazda on Monday March 2 and they said to bring the vehicle in on March 3 at 1pm. They are now keeping my vehicle to find out what the problem is. I believe they never replaced the new radiator properly. I now have been give a CX50 as a loaner while they again try to fix my car. I am [XXX] and should not have to deal with this. A Mazda 2024 CX90 with only 20, 202 miles on it should not be having these issues. I researched and have found out the Mazda CX90s are having major problems with the radiators leaking from the sides and customers have to have their radiators replaced. I am reporting a safety concern involving my 2018 Honda CR-V. Vehicle history reports indicate that the VIN had a prior theft record before I purchased the vehicle. This information was not disclosed to me at the time of sale. After purchasing the vehicle, it became the target of multiple theft attempts. During one incident in November 2025, I was violently assaulted during an attempted carjacking
... involving the vehicle. I suffered injuries and lost approximately three weeks of work. I submitted vehicle history reports documenting the prior theft record to the California Department of Motor Vehicles during a complaint investigation. However, I was informed that this information was considered insignificant because it was not part of the CARFAX report used by the dealership or recognized by the DMV. I am submitting this report to document the safety risks associated with this vehicle and the lack of consideration given to theft history information contained in VIN reporting databases. This information would have impacted my decision to purchase the vehicle and could have prevented the physical and financial hardship I experienced. As a result of these circumstances, the vehicle was ultimately repossessed. I lost the vehicle and nearly lost my life due to the lack of transparency regarding the vehicle’s history at the time of sale. This report is not a car accident it was an attempted car jacking and YES I was injured severely. The system did not let me upload the most import part of my compliant the report of the theft. The Active Grille Shutter (AGS) system on my vehicle suffered an internal mechanical failure (fault codes 138206 and 138224). These shutters are a critical part of the engine cooling system. Failure of the AGS to operate correctly leads to immediate engine overheating risks, potential sudden loss of power (Limp Mode) in high-speed traffic, and thermal damage to engine components, posing a severe s
... afety hazard. The manufacturer, BMW of North America, has officially acknowledged this defect via Extended Warranty SIB 01 03 25. However, both the local dealer (BMW of Sterling) and BMW of North America corporate office have formally refused to honor this safety-related warranty repair. Despite clear video and photographic evidence showing zero external impact to the vehicle's front end or grilles, both parties claim 'outside influence' without providing any technical proof or documentation of such impact. By refusing to repair a known cooling system defect, the manufacturer and the dealer are forcing a vehicle with a high risk of overheating back onto public roads. This represents a systemic failure to address a safety-critical component under a federally protected warrantyRead more

My Tesla Model 3 was brought to Tesla Princeton Service Center on February 27, 2025 for a 12V battery replacement. During the service visit, Tesla also replaced the rear glass, citing the rear defroster as the root cause of the battery drain — a repair that was added without prior discussion and increased the total invoice from an original estimate of $180 to a final charge of $1,730. Upon picki

None of these systems showed any malfunction prior to the service visit. Tesla Princeton’s service advisor denied responsibility without performing diagnostics, and in a subsequent message admitted he could not determine the cause with certainty without diagnostics — which have still not been performed. The vehicle was discharged from a licensed Tesla Service Center in a condition non-compliant with FMVSS 111. I am reporting a premature engine failure on my 2019 Mazda CX-5 with approximately 55,000 miles. The vehicle developed a significant engine oil leak that was diagnosed by a repair facility as a casting failure in the cylinder head behind the timing cover. Due to the location of the leak and the nature of the defect, the entire cylinder head assembly had to be replaced. The total repair cost was $
... 5,262.32, which I paid out of pocket. The repair documentation indicates that Mazda has issued a Technical Service Bulletin addressing this condition, but there is currently no recall or warranty extension covering the issue for my vehicle. A cylinder head casting failure at such low mileage appears premature and not consistent with normal wear and tear on a properly maintained engine. An engine oil leak of this nature could potentially create safety risks, including oil contamination of engine components or the possibility of oil leaking onto hot engine parts. Because this issue appears to be documented by Mazda through technical service guidance and has resulted in a costly major engine repair at relatively low mileage, I believe it should be investigated to determine whether a broader manufacturing defect exists that could affect other vehicles. I am submitting this complaint so that the issue is documented and can be evaluated for potential safety concerns or a future recall if similar failures are occurring in other vehicles.Read more

I am reporting a water intrusion issue involving the rear hatch area of my 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI Autobahn. Water leaks into the vehicle through the hatch wiring boot area and travels into the interior of the car, causing the headliner to become saturated with water. During periods of rain or after washing the vehicle, water enters near the rubber hatch wiring boots and leaks into the interior
... roof area. The vehicle has two rubber hatch boots (left and right) that route wiring harnesses from the body to the liftgate. These harnesses carry wiring for several rear hatch components including the backup camera, center high-mount brake light, rear wiper motor, hatch release switch, rear defroster, license plate lights, and other electrical systems located in the liftgate. Water intrusion in this area can allow moisture to travel along the wiring harnesses and into the vehicle interior, resulting in a soaked headliner and moisture accumulation inside the cabin. Because these wiring boots contain electrical harnesses for important components such as the center brake light and backup camera, continued water exposure could potentially lead to electrical faults, corrosion, or failure of these systems. The vehicle has approximately 23,000 miles. The leak occurs during normal weather conditions such as rain. Numerous owners of similar Volkswagen Golf and GTI/R vehicles have reported similar rear hatch water intrusion issues. I have been scared to drive the car in the rain and wash my car after the incident. The hatch boots have been replaced twice per side and are still causing issues. I request that this issue be investigated as a potential design or sealing defect allowing water to enter the passenger compartment and electrical harness areas.Read more
