I have an open safety recall for 16 months (recall below). I and my family drive a Dodge Ram 3500 dually truck and haul my horses in a large gooseneck horse trailer. The recall states: “Safety RiskThe loss of ABS/ESC/Traction control may cause a vehicle crash without prior warning.” It’s not my problem that parts are not available. But it is my problem that I, my husband, or my daughter
... or any combination thereof could DIE for as long as this problem exists without repair. Are they afraid of tariffs or are they sinking all their time, effort and MONEY into their new distribution plant near Detroit. I want this ON RECORD: I WANT MY TRUCK REPAIRED NOW or I want a loaner truck (suitable to haul my trailer) until it is fixed. My 2017 Honda CRV VIN [XXX] AC compressor has completely seized/locked up. This has caused: (1) loss of engine power while driving with AC on, (2) burning smell from engine compartment, (3) loud grinding noise. A seized AC compressor risks snapping the serpentine belt while driving, which causes sudden loss of power steering — a direct safety hazard at highway speeds. This is a known Honda defe
... ct covered under TSB 23-040, yet the dealer denied warranty coverage claiming the compressor failure is unrelated to the shaft seal defect. The root cause was never addressed despite my car being serviced in May 19 2023 and they charged for discharge hose and freeon filling for 900$. The same day honda extended warranty of parts via TSB 23-040. I feel Honda dealership never found the root cause and beating around the bush. I started the car and put down all 4 windows simultaneously. I heard a pop and a dash warning "Check electrical system". That recall work was just a software update, but it is a hardware problem. Hyundai needs to fix

Fortunately I was able to drive 1-2 miles home and get the car towed. I was without a car for 4 days until Hyundai could get me a loaner vehicle. Unknown how long repair will take. My vehicle’s steering became dangerously stiff while driving on the highway, nearly causing my wife to be involved in a serious accident. While she was traveling on I-95 in Miami, Florida, the steering suddenly got so hard that she could barely control the vehicle and was unable to turn the wheel properly. This created an extremely dangerous situation and put her life, as well as the lives of ot
... hers on the road, at risk. She was thankfully able to get off the highway, and I had to come take over the vehicle to make sure she got home safely. This was terrifying and completely unacceptable. A failure like this should never happen while a vehicle is in motion. When I took the vehicle to the dealership, I was told I would have to pay over $3,500 for the repair. That is outrageous for such a serious safety issue. I also found information online showing recalls for similar steering problems in GMC Yukons, yet GMC Arcadias do not appear to be included. That is deeply concerning, especially since this same dangerous defect is clearly affecting my vehicle. This issue could have caused a major crash, severe injuries, or even death. GMC needs to take responsibility for this problem instead of forcing customers to pay thousands of dollars for a dangerous defect that should be addressed as a safety recall.Read more

I am writing to formally request a review of my vehicle for inclusion in NHTSA Recall 21V-635, issued May 11, 2022, concerning fuel leaks at the fuel tank flange assembly. My vehicle is a 2012 Land Rover LR4, VIN [XXX] . Although my local Land Rover dealer has informed me that my VIN is not currently included in the recall population, my vehicle is experiencing the exact condition described in th
... e recall notice — a fuel leak originating from the fuel outlet flange mounted on the fuel tank. The recall letter for 21V-635 states that all Land Rover LR4 vehicles model years 2010–2016 are included. My vehicle falls squarely within that model year range. Given this, and the fact that my vehicle is exhibiting the precise defect identified in the recall, I am concerned that my VIN may have been inadvertently excluded from the recall population. This issue presents a serious safety concern due to the risk of fire associated with fuel leakage. The symptoms and failure location match the recall description. I respectfully request that NHTSA review my case to determine whether: My VIN was mistakenly omitted from the recall population, or The recall population should be expanded or corrected to include my vehicle. I am prepared to provide photographs, repair estimates, diagnostic reports, or inspection documentation confirming the fuel leak at the flange assembly upon request. Because this defect involves fuel leakage and a significant potential fire hazard, I believe it warrants careful review to ensure all similarly affected vehicles are properly covered. Thank you for your time and consideration. I appreciate your assistance in reviewing this matter and advising me on the appropriate next steps. My 2025 Toyota Sienna XLE (VIN: [XXX]) is subject to Safety Recall 25V668 related to defective second-row seat rail welds. The recall states that the seat structure may fail during certain high-speed collisions, increasing the risk of injury to passengers. As a result of this safety recall, my vehicle was suspended from passenger rental service on October 6, 2025 and has remained unusable for it
... s intended purpose since that date. Toyota has confirmed that the recall status is “Remedy Not Available,” meaning no repair solution currently exists for this safety defect. The vehicle therefore cannot be safely used for passenger transport and continues to cause significant financial loss while loan payments remain due. I am filing this complaint because the vehicle has been unusable for an extended period of time due to a safety defect with no available remedy. Dear General Motors Customer Assistance Center, I am writing to formally file a complaint and request assistance regarding a serious mechanical failure with my 2018 GMC Acadia SLT. I purchased this vehicle when it had approximately 7,000 miles on it after it was transported from Florida. Since owning the vehicle, I have properly maintained it and had it serviced through Suttle Motors dealership
... in Newport News, Virginia. Recently, while driving on the highway to have tires installed, the vehicle suddenly stalled while I was in traffic. This caused a very dangerous situation, as traffic behind me was forced to abruptly slow down and I was nearly rear-ended due to the sudden loss of power. Because the vehicle was no longer drivable, I had it towed to Suttle Motors for inspection. After examining the vehicle, the service department informed me of the following issue: “The transmission solenoid valve is stuck and it has burnt the transmission fluid. The vehicle will require a full transmission replacement. The estimated cost is $7,769 with a 3-year/100,000-mile warranty.” I was extremely shocked and disappointed to receive this news. My vehicle currently has only 67,000 miles, and I have taken care to maintain it properly through the dealership. Experiencing a complete transmission failure at such relatively low mileage is very concerning, especially considering the dangerous situation it created on the highway. Given the circumstances, I am requesting that General Motors review this matter and advise whether any goodwill assistance, repair support, or coverage options may be available to help resolve this issue. I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. I can provide service records and documentation from Suttle Motors if needed. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.Read more
