The steering wheel sticks and requires force to move it back to center. When driving on the highway, a small curve is enough to let the steering wheel stick, requiring pressure to move it back to center. In the process, over-correcting occurs due to force being applied by my hands, which requires steering back and forth to settle in the center. Very unsafe.

The tail lights on the Toyota Corolla Cross LE 2026 are not as bright as one would think they should be. I've been informed of this by a few passerbys and other drivers. The tail lights on the Cross are very dim and there only two. Very hard to see on a late night. Been told by other Cross drivers of this issue as well, and believe Toyota should make them tighter for the evening hours.

The A/C failed completely, blowing hot air (80+°F) in extreme Phoenix heat. The issue recurred identically after a dealer misdiagnosis and gas recharge last year. A formal inspection by Showcase Honda on May 28, 2026 (RO# 838832), confirmed a dual leak: the A/C Compressor Shaft Seal (under warranty extension) and the A/C Evaporator Core were leaking refrigerant simultaneously. Due to severe local
... heat waves, repairs were completed at the dealer on June 15, 2026. Invoices are available upon request. This defect severely risks vehicle safety. Driving in Arizona's 100+°F heat without A/C causes immediate heat exhaustion for passengers. Also, losing the defroster causes sudden windshield fogging during humidity shifts, creating a blind visibility hazard. No warning lamps preceded the failure. Crucially, the 10-year warranty extension is rapidly expiring for early 10th-gen Civic owners, leaving us unprotected. NHTSA must mandate Honda to extend the compressor/condenser warranty to a LIFETIME warranty. Furthermore, because the Evaporator Core inherently fails at the exact same time due to the same loop defect, Honda must expand coverage to include the Evaporator Core as a fully covered component. Partial coverage is a widespread safety hazard and a financial injustice for consumers.Read more

2017 Lincoln MKZ was taken to Community Ford Lincoln of Bloomington (Auto Vest II LLC), Bloomington, IN for service on 05/01/2026. No ABS, Traction Control, or AdvanceTrac warning lights were present at drop-off. After the vehicle was returned, all three warning lights were illuminated. An independent Ford/Lincoln dealer (Tom Roush Lincoln) estimated repair at $310. The servicing dealer offered only partial reimbursement of $169.45. The ABS and stability control systems are safety-critical. Their failure compromises emergency braking performance and vehicle stability, putting driver and other road users at risk. The vehicle has been unavailable for normal use since [XXX]. The problem was confirmed by an independent Lincoln dealership. The vehicle is available for inspection. Vehicle: 2025 BMW X3 30 xDrive | VIN: [XXX] | Dealer: Weatherford BMW of Berkeley | No crash, no injury Complaint narrative: My 2025 BMW X3 30 xDrive (VIN [XXX]) has an open, active safety recall. BMW of North America has confirmed to me in writing (Executive Customer Care case #[XXX], most recently June 18, 2026) that the remedy parts are not available, and it has provided no repair date or est
... imated availability. I first raised this in April 2026; it remains unrepaired. Because of the open recall, BMW Financial Services will not allow me to transfer or pay off my lease, yet I continue to be charged $631.98 per month for a vehicle I cannot transfer and that has an unremedied safety defect. BMW has not offered a loaner, interim payment relief, or a repair timeline. I am requesting that NHTSA note the extended unavailability of the recall remedy for this vehicle. The 2025 X3 30 xDrive is subject to multiple BMW safety recalls; at least one campaign — NHTSA 25V202000 (starter-generator / positive battery cable; risk of engine stall and fire) — was issued with an interim notice stating the remedy was not yet available and that a second notice would follow once the remedy is ready, which is consistent with what BMW has told me. I am seeking confirmation of the exact open campaign on my VIN and a timely, free remedy as required by federal law. This vehicle recently started experiencing a peeling dashboard on the passenger side immediately near/on the airbag region. After the latest 68C recall fix, Jeep has adjusted the behavior of how the vehicle's electric mode operates. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop who confirmed it was an electrical issue beyond their capability. It was then taken to a Chrysler dealership who charged $250 per hour for diagnostics, kept the vehicle for a full day, and was unable to identify the cause. Their only suggestion was an aftermarket radio installed by a prior owner — however an aftermarket radio would not cause all dashboard lights to activate and the transmission to shift into neutral while driving. I contacted Chrysler corporate (Case #97099954) who confirmed no open recalls exist and refused to cover the repair stating the warranty has expired. Driver and adult passenger were traveling at highway speed on the NJ Turnpike. The passenger noticed that the airbag light on the display showed "Passenger Airbag OFF" We stopped at the next rest area and found guidance online that the Occupant Detection System sometimes doesn't properly register the weight in the seat so shifting the seat could turn the airbag back on. We did this and the light
... did come back on. We continued our trip. Shortly after the same issue occurred again. We shifted the seat again and the light came on again. We are not satisfied that the ODS is working properly and the risk is too great to have the burden of readjusting the seat to make a sensor work properly so that airbags, which are consequential safety features, will deploy in the event of a crash. Airbags must function to protect passengers and this is not functioning correctly. The dealer said there is nothing wrong, yet we are aware of an ODS recall for prior year Subaru Outbacks that were displaying similar issues. We want this fixed so we don't have to worry. It is not safe to be traveling in a car and to have to worry about whether your air bag is turned on or adjusting a seat to hope it turns back on.Read more

I am aware that Ford has issued recalls related to door latch failures on certain Mustang models; however, my vehicle's VIN is not included in the recall population. Based on my research, numerous owners of Ford Mustang Convertibles from model years around 2017 have reported experiencing similar door latch and door-opening issues. Given the frequency of the occurrences and the obvious safety implications of a vehicle door opening while traveling at highway speeds, I believe this issue warrants further investigation.Read more

Diagnosis - internal electrical f
... ailure. The dealership advised that this is a known issue to VW and that there are several other customers with the same issue and waiting for the modules, which are on backorder with VW. There is no communication between the vehicle and VW as a result, and the infotainment system is unable to update. The service tech advised that there are a number or potential issues that will arise because this is a vehicle communication failure. I was forced to prepay for the module and labor, which was ordered on 2/18 (in excess of $500). On 5/26/26 the VW dealership service manager confirmed that the module still has not arrived from VW and that there may be a recall issued because this is such a widespread problem, but that they have no estimated delivery time for the part. The vehicle has had no problems prior to this. If the car is in an accident, there will be no SOS function. The infotainment system, which controls CarNet and the ability to communicate using CarPlay will also be compromised, which may result in the inability to call for assistance in event of an incident. VW Customer Service states they have no ability to track service orders or provide information on the ongoing issue, and stated that the dealership has the only ability to track the part. The dealership cannot check the status beyond acknowledging that the part is on backorder. This is a widely reported problem online in multiple forums and with multiple VW models. Tail light bar fractured spontaneously without any external physical impact due to structural over-tightening at the factory, creating a risk of water intrusion that can short out required FMVSS rear lighting. What the data shows is that this isn't a random occurrence — it's a known manufacturing and installation defect. If you look at the accounts from dozens of owners on places like Reddit an
... d Hornet forums, they describe identical failures across the board. Here is the breakdown of why so many people are running into this exact problem: 1. The Real Cause: "Over-Torque" From the Factory The most eye-opening discovery from owners who have dealt with this multiple times is that the cracks are usually mechanical, not environmental. When the "racetrack" light bar is installed at the factory, the securing bolts are often tightened too far down. This leaves virtually zero gap between the plastic light assembly and the metal car body. As you drive, hit bumps, or slam the rear liftgate, the light bar literally smashes against the vehicle's body panels, causing the plastic to buckle and fracture under the stress. 2. Spontaneous Hairline Fractures Many owners report walking out to their driveway to find massive spiderweb cracks along the top edge of the light bar, despite swearing they never backed into anything. The tension on the plastic is so high that temperature changes (like going through a cold car wash on a hot day) are enough to spontaneously trigger the fracture. 3. The Secondary Nightmare: Water Traps Once the plastic casing gets that hairline crack along the top edge, rain and car wash water seep right into the lens. Because the assembly is sealed tightly, the water gets trapped inside, causing: Condensation that can short out the racetrack LED segments. Delamination, where the water forces the internal tint film to separate from the plastic, making the crack look much wider and worse over time.Read more

The aux alternator installed to charge the house battery is failing, making noise and almost starting the motorhome on fire. A quick search found EVERYONE with the Thor motorhomes with this alternator is having the same issues and Thor will do nothing about it. Many have installed multiple new alternators, and because the wiring gauge isn't big enough (also installed by Thor) the issues come up ag

On 12-4-2025 I purchased a set of kumho mavis mountaineers apt tires at the Thomson GA. location. They didn't balance the tires when they were installed. So I had to go back for them to be balanced. After 5 months my truck was still riding really rough and the tires had worn considerably more than they should have so I called Mavis about this problem and was instructed to go to the Evans GA locat
... ion on 5-22-2026 for a tire inspection. This location said all for tires were dry-rotted and I haven't had these tires for 7 full months and have put 22,000 miles on them. One tire has worn to the point of being slick and this is the only vehicle my family has right now. This has been on going since the date of purchase and there is a good chance these tires will cause an accident.Read more

While driving at 50 mph, the infotainment touchscreen began experiencing severe ghost touches, where the screen acts as if it is being repeatedly tapped by itself. The system rapidly cycled through menus on its own, making random phone calls via Bluetooth and changing the navigation map coordinates while I was in motion. This created a massive visual and mental distraction as I try to mute or stop
... the erratic behavior. Also When putting the vehicle in reverse, the phantom touches freeze the screen, blocking the backup camera feed entirely. The problem is worse on hot days. The dealer stated it is a known hardware delamination issue but I was told honda corporate told them not to replace it as the issue will re-occur do to their hardware malfunctioning. This is an extreme safety hazard and a distraction while driving. I am submitting this complaint to get honda to resolve this issue.Read more
