Excessive Diesel Exhaust Regeneration. Vehicle in in regeneration about 72% of the time. Check engine light comes on about every 2 weeks with code P2459. The P2459 code indicates an issue with the diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration frequency in diesel vehicles. This code is triggered when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects that the DPF regeneration process has not occurred as
... expected. Have to take to dealership for a manual regeneration and to clear the code. Dealership says this is a known issue for Ram Diesel engines from 2018-2024. Dealership says Ram has yet to address the issue even though its been 7 years since the issue started in the 2018 model year. Been dealing with this for a year now.Read more

I am experiencing symptoms, consistent with excessive frame movement and structural failure in my 42 foot fifth wheel toy hauler RV. And what appears to be some twisting out of square. 6- front panel door is buckling in the center and will no longer close geometry of the opening has been compromised It is clear that we are experiencing frame structural failure between the area where the camper toast from in relation to the main frame of the camperRead more

A passerby pulled over and helped the contact's son move the vehicle. The vehicle extinguished itself. No injuries were reported. The air bags did not deploy. The contact stated that her son called her, and she and the contact's brother went to the site of the accident. The contact's brother checked underneath the vehicle and picked off the pieces that were on the ground. The contact's brother noticed that a rod had detached and gone through the motor, which created a hole in the motor. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The dealer confirmed that the bearing rod detached and damaged the engine. The dealer contacted the manufacturer and tried to order a new engine. However, KIA declined and advised the dealer not to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The vehicle remained at the residence unrepaired. August 6, 2025 I was driving and it started to rain and there was a little rain on the road and my vehicle appeared to be hydroplaning. I had never experienced that before and it scared me to the point that I reduced my speed significantly. I arrived at my destination and was there for about three hours and when I started my 2025 Chevrolet Traverse I had 4 lights come on my dashboard along with a
... warning chime. The lights were the BRAKE LIGHT, ABS LIGHT, FORWARD COLLISION ASSIST LIGHT AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT; and a Service ESC and Service Brake Assist message popped up in separate boxes from the lights themselves. I turned off my Traverse and hoped it was some fluke thing and again the same lights came on and same messages. I drove my vehicle home cautiously and parked it. I called the dealer I purchased it from the following morning and was given a service appointment 11 days out and I stated that was unacceptable since I was not sure the vehicle was safe to drive from everything I was reading online. The service dept stated that they could place it on a machine if I stopped into the dealership and let me know if was safe to drive. My husband drove it to the dealership 25 miles away and wasn't happy with the service department and spoke to a manager and he stated they would look at my vehicle the following day and gave me a loaner. My husband advised the manager that everything I had been reading pointed to an issue with the master brake cylinder and the parts are on backorder and the manager said he hadn't heard of any issues with them. I received a call 4 days later after asking the status of my new car repeatedly and was told that it is the master brake cylinder and a couple of the parts are on backorder and they don't know when they will arrive; could be a week, two or a month. I am extremely concerned about the seriousness of this issue and the lack of parts to repair the vehicle. As I stated, there are multiple incidents on google over this same issue.Read more

This tends to only happen below 74 degrees Fahrenheit and happens excessively between 72 and 74 degrees Fahrenheit. While driving with one pedal engaged (labeled as low on the shifter since they re-used another model's shifter for the first several years of the Bolt EV), the cruise control will randomly disengage and force the vehicle to immediately slam on the brakes. Usually its not a big deal
... , but when it happens at highway speed as you're just passing a semi or large vehicle and merging back into the lane in front of it, it becomes dangerous very quickly, which has happened a couple of times now. I would venture a guess that its not related to the cruise control directly, but some system that its relying on is forcing it to deactivate the cruise control. The only other issue this vehicle is having that might be related is that the blind spot detection system is not working correctly on the left side. I know there's a TSB for the aluminum Butyl tape becoming damaged or missing, but if that's causing my car to slam on its brakes in front of fully loaded semis, Chevy should probably be persuaded into re-coding how their cruise control gets disengaged. Especially since this blind spot detection system issue seems somewhat common. Either way, something is causing my car to randomly slam on its brakes in the middle of the highway and Chevy says there's nothing they can do about it because its not setting a code. This is definitely a dangerous safety issue that they should be forced into actually diagnosing more than just plugging a computer in and saying: "whelp, nothing to see here." and returning it to the customer with a "we can't do anything, sorry."Read more

The Multipurpose camera that controls all advanced driver assistance fuctions malfunctions causing these systems to intermittenently not work properly or at all. It has caused the vehicle to fail to brake, and brake on its own without cause. Upon doing my own research I found numerous reports online of other owners of this make/model having the same issue. The problem first occured when my vehicl
... e reached about 50,000 miles. It has been ongoing since. It caused damage to my vehicle when the automatic collision assist failed to brake for a vehicle that stopped abruptly in front of me. The alerts that these systems are not working do not always show up when the vehicle starts. Sometimes they stop working in the middle of the route. I have been in correspondence with the dealership who informed me the cost to fix this issue is $1968 (this does not include the $150 diagnostic fee while the vehicle was being serviced for a recall related to the fuel pump - I already paid to the dealer that fee and for which I've attached my receipt.) There is clearly some issue with the part that was installed by the manufacturer. It makes the vehicle unsafe to drive not knowing if these systems will fail or malfunction at any given moment. I do not feel as the customer this should be my responsibility to have repaired, as many others report the same issue with this part. There is clearly a widespread issue that needs to be addressed in a recall in order to replace the faulty part.Read more

The engine lost lubrication during this process, and I was forced to have the vehicle towed to Ed Napleton Hyundai in Hazelwood, the same dealership where I purchased and serviced the car, for inspection and repairs. This incident occurred just three weeks after I had an oil change performed at the same dealership. I have been attempting to contact the dealership for updates on the status of my vehicle and the investigation into potential engine damage for the past three days, but I have received limited information until today, when the service manager, Jerry, stated that they installed a new plug and added oil, and since it's not ticking, it's okay. However, having worked in the automotive industry for years, I know that a full teardown is necessary to properly check for damage, including inspecting the bearings, rings, cylinder walls, and turbo for signs of oil starvation. This service was not performed. Additionally, Jerry informed me that speaking to someone higher up would do absolutely nothing for me. This is not an isolated issue. Over the course of my ownership, the dealership has damaged my oil filter by over-tightening and stripping it on two separate occasions during routine maintenance, requiring me to return to the facility each time.
