Hello, I purchased this truck new in November of 2025. Around 1500 miles and a few months later the truck developed what sounds like some sort of belt squeak or chirp upon startup, light acceleration and when the engine auto start/stops. I took it to my local dealer and they told me they “lubed the belt” the noise became faint but still didn’t go away. Around 3k miles the noise is back as lo

This needs to be addressed many people online are dealing with this and the dealer is giving us the run around trying to say it’s normal for a brand new $70,000 dollar truck to squeak and chirp!Read more

The codes P0300 "Engine Misfire Detected" and P0301 "Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected" were the two relevant codes in the report. However the car only has 49,860 miles on it. The power steering randomly turns off. This is a known Chevrolet recall from the prior year model (2015) and it was recalled. I have just over 100k miles on my truck and I cannot have family members drive it because they are not strong enough to turn the wheel. If it went out on a turn the truck would plow right into oncoming traffic. It is not safe! The repair parts are $1000 with a total cost of

I am reporting a serious safety concern involving my 2026 Chevy Traverse that occurred on May 9, 2026 at 6:46pm. While driving at freeway speed in the carpool lane with adaptive cruise control and gap assist engaged, my vehicle suddenly applied the brakes unexpectedly even though there were no vehicles directly in front of me. The nearest visible vehicle was a significant distance ahead, and ther
... e was no apparent reason for the braking event. This was not a gradual deceleration. The vehicle actively braked. I was passing under or near an overpass at the time, which makes me wonder whether the sensors misread something. Regardless, the sudden braking created a dangerous situation because vehicles were behind me, and the driver behind appeared to think I was brake checking them. This could have easily caused a rear end collision. As a result of this incident, I no longer feel I can trust these safety/driver assistance systems and have since disabled those features because I do not feel safe relying on them until this issue is properly investigated and addressed. I am requesting that this issue be formally documented, that the vehicle be inspected for any malfunction related to adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, or related sensor systems, and that I be advised whether this is a known issue with the 2026 Traverse. If there are any software updates, technical service bulletins, recalls, or corrective actions available, please let me know. This is a serious safety concern, and I would appreciate guidance on the next steps.Read more

The electronic parking brake on my 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander intermittently fails to auto-release when shifting from Park to Reverse or Drive. Curiously, the system does respond to the gear shifter when returning to Park, as the brake will then engage or release as expected once cycled. This indicates a failure specifically in the transition out of the Park position. This intermittent delay or
... refusal to release prevents the vehicle from moving when expected, creating a potential safety hazard in traffic or during time-sensitive maneuvers. No dashboard warnings are present, and the issue occurs even when the driver's seat belt is buckled and the foot brake is fully depressed.Read more

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the failure of Land Rover and its authorized dealership network to complete Safety Recall D019 involving the front suspension knuckle crack on my 2015 Range Rover Sport. I received the official recall notice in September 2025. The recall concerns a serious safety defect involving the front suspension system, which presents a substantial risk of
... loss of vehicle control, crash, injury, or worse. Despite the seriousness of this defect and the passage of many months, the required repair has still not been completed. Since receiving the notice, I have repeatedly contacted the dealership from which I purchased the vehicle, as well as representatives associated with the manufacturer, seeking to schedule the repair. Each time, I have been met with delays, conflicting information, and excuses regarding parts availability. Most recently, I was informed that “tariffs” are allegedly responsible for the inability to provide the replacement parts. This explanation is unacceptable. Federal safety recalls are intended to protect consumers from dangerous defects, and manufacturers have a legal obligation to provide timely remedies once a recall has been issued. It is unreasonable and unsafe for consumers to continue operating vehicles subject to a known suspension defect for months without access to the necessary repair. I am requesting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigate the ongoing delays associated with Recall D019 and determine whether Land Rover is meeting its obligations under federal motor vehicle safety laws. I also ask that appropriate enforcement action be considered as the manufacturer has to provide an adequate and timely remedy to affected vehicle owners. This situation has caused significant frustration and concern as this i my families only vehicle. No vehicle owner should be left indefinitely waiting for repairs related to a serious safety recall.Read more

After doing some grocery shopping for about 20–30 minutes, I returned to my vehicle, put it in drive, pressed the accelerator, and received no response for approximately 3 to 4 seconds. I then pressed the brake and experienced the exact same issue — no response from the system for about 3 to 4 seconds. I decided to shut the vehicle down, wait approximately 10 seconds, and restart it. After re
... starting, the brake responded immediately (as expected), but there was still a significant delay from the accelerator of about 3 to 4 seconds. I then drove to another parking lot approximately 0.2 miles down the road, parked the vehicle, walked around the store for another 20 minutes, and returned to the vehicle. At that point, everything worked as intended. The accelerator and braking systems both responded properly. On Monday, May 11, I went to the Carvana Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram location in [XXX] , where I was informed by the Service Manager that they would likely need to keep the vehicle for over a month to troubleshoot the issue with Chrysler before they could attempt a resolution, since the entire electrical system is effectively locked down and controlled by FCA electrical engineers. Also, a loaner was not an option if they kept the vehicle. Less than 5,000 miles on this vehicle with clearly a critical issue and almost no attempt to help the customer. The transmission shift cable on the vehicle may fail to maintain its connection to the transmission. According to the manufacturer’s safety notice, this defect results in an unexpected and unrecoverable loss of PARK function. The manufacturer has acknowledged that this condition can lead to unintended vehicle movement in an unintended direction, even when the shifter indicates the vehicle is i
... n "Park." This creates an immediate risk of a vehicle crash without prior warning and poses a severe threat of injury to the driver, passengers, and bystanders outside the vehicle. The manufacturer issued the safety notice on March 8, 2026, but stated that a remedy is "not currently available." As of May 12, 2026 (over 60 days later), the manufacturer has failed to provide a timeline for the repair, failed to respond to formal written inquiries regarding a safety remedy, and has not provided interim safety measures or alternative transportation. On 12/20/25, the car - a Sonata plug-in hybrid - failed to start. When I pushed the "start" button, the dashboard display lit up w many clearly irrelevant error messages. Each time I pressed start, somewhat fewer error messages blasted toward me, and finally, no response at all. On 12/21/2026, the tow driver said it was the 12-volt battery. He gave us a jump start and we drove a few blocks. Howe
... ver, it failed at the turn lane while waiting for the light to turn. We turned it back on, bought a new battery, had it installed. On 12/29/25, my husband was driving. He turned into the intersection with a traffic light. As he was making the turn, the car simply quit. No warning. The car was dead, and blocking traffic! He pressed the start button to turn off the car, then again to turn it on. He was able to complete the turn and parked on the side of the road. By this time it had a "check engine" light on. He then drove slowly the few blocks back to our house. On 12/30/2025, the car was towed to a local mechanic. He said it threw the code PODE7, "almost certainly for a failed High Voltage battery." It was still under warranty, and we had the car towed to the dealership. After keeping it for 2 or 3 weeks, they confirmed the code and that the control panel needed to be replaced. We finally picked up the car (w new control panel) on 2/20/2026. In the meanwhile, we looked up Hyundai control panel repairs on a reddit forum. We found lots of chatter about it. Turns out it's a recognized problem in Sonata and Ioniq EV and PHEV's! Clearly, a car failing in the middle of an intersection, highway, etc is a safety problem and needs to have repair/replacements made BEFORE THEY HAPPEN!Read more

I am submitting this complaint regarding Ford Recall 26S28 involving my 2015 Ford F-150. Ford has acknowledged a defect serious enough to issue a formal safety recall; however, there is currently no repair remedy available and no clear timeline for when repairs will be completed. As a result, affected owners are left operating vehicles with an acknowledged defect or are left without reliable trans
... portation for an indefinite period of time. I contacted Ford Motor Company and requested interim transportation assistance or a temporary loaner vehicle while awaiting an approved repair solution. Ford denied this request, stating that my vehicle is outside warranty coverage due to age and mileage. Ford also advised that customers should retain receipts in case a reimbursement program becomes available in the future. My concern is that this situation places consumers in an unreasonable position. Although Ford has acknowledged the defect through a federal recall, owners are expected to absorb transportation costs indefinitely while no remedy currently exists. The issue is directly related to the recall condition, not ordinary warranty coverage or routine maintenance. I believe this situation raises concerns regarding the adequacy and timeliness of Ford’s response to Recall 26S28 and the hardship imposed on affected consumers during the unresolved recall period. I respectfully request that NHTSA review the handling of this recall, including the lack of available remedies, absence of repair timelines, and lack of interim consumer assistance for affected vehicle owners.Read more

I was in a single vehicle car accident on Monday May 4th 2026 right at 6am central standard time. My 2019 honda odyssey has been totaled out by Insurance. Primarily all of the damages were on the front driver side, the air bags on both the steering wheel and under the steering wheel deployed but the side curtain airbag didn't not, and honda link also wasn't able to connect to emergency services on
... ce a crash was detected. The side curtain air bag not deploying has been pointed out and brought to my attention by almost every single person who has seen my vehicle since the accident. During the accident I swerved to avoid an animal that was running across the road and I over corrected and loss control and in a complete panic it has been assumed by everyone including myself that I accidently pressed the accelerator pedal instead of the brake.Read more
