However, when I entered my VIN, no active recalls were shown for my vehicle. Given the similarity of the issue we experienced to the recall description, I believe my vehicle should be included. The vehicle is currently in the dealership’s shop undergoing a computer system reset, but I strongly feel any necessary repairs related to this stalling issue should be covered under the recall. My primary concern is the safety of this vehicle for my family and all passengers, and I request that this matter be reviewed and addressed under recall coverage.Read more

Every time the vehicle proceeds over a speed bump or a dip in the road, it feels as if something is lose and banging in the steering and suspension of the vehicle. I have taken it to the dealer on numerous occasions, and they say they can never find anything wrong nor duplicate the issue. My 2019 jeep Cherokee latitude only had 25000 miles on it when i bought it. Within a month the emergence break would come on by itself randomly while driving or beginning to accelerate from a parked or stopped state. It also will not start randomly, you will go out get in and for no reason it won’t turn over, yet the electrical systems will turn in fine, it’s getting power. In order for this to stop, you have to keep turning it on and off and apply the parking brake and the brake and than release them…. Over and over with intermittent breaks in between until it finally turns over. If you manage to get it started than it won’t shift properly. It stays in an extremely low gear unless you accelerate rapidly. And it won’t accelerate rapidly, your foot can be to the floor and it’s barely going until it gets into third and than just keeps rising never down shifting again until you coast to a stop and have to turn it off again and start the process over. On hills when this happens you will get hit and killed bc it won’t go in time for you to get out of oncoming traffic’s way. It has shut off while driving on the highway. Left me stranded blocking people in in parking lots. And almost gotten me and my family killed in several occasions. There are no similar circumstances in which it does this. It is comletely random and that makes it terrifying. I have 2 children that I am afraid to take anywhere now, and the jeep was bought to keep them safe and able to get anywhere in case of inclement weather etc. as if that’s not enough, the passenger seat floor is always wet. While traveling on the interstate at 70-74mph without warning, the tire suddenly blew out, causing the car to shake and forcing me to the shoulder, which almost led to an accident. The car was recently serviced at a Honda dealership, which noted my tire tread was in good condition. The problem appears to be with the sidewall of the tire, which blew, causing the issue.

Our body shop expressed that when a new model comes out the manufacturer is obligated to have a surplus of replacement parts on hand for this very reason. On top of all this our insurance company has done their due diligence and gave us a rental car as well as extended it but after 7 more days we will need to pay out of pocket. I called my Land Rover Dealership and they just stated that the warranty expired 2 years ago and nothing they can do. So then I called Land Rover corporate at 1800-637-6837 option 9 and they told me they can't help either unless I take it to dealership and spend $300 to get a diagnostic report from them. Then they may or may not assist me. I brought to their attention that the model year 2020 Range Rover Evoque has 2 current recalls for the same issue, Failing headliner and headliner built missing materials and since the body on the 2019 and 2020 are exactly the same the recall should cover this as well, but they refuse and say it goes by year and VIN and 2019 is not covered under the recall. The recalls in mention are: Recall N412 (19V-840) and Recall N454. These need to be expanded to cover 2019 or a new recall needs to be added, because the issue of a suddenly collapsing headliner while driving is a serious and potentially fatal matter. Not sure how you can help but something needs to be done because this is a danger to life and property. The contact stated that the failure also occurred with another vehicle approximately 100-feet ahead coming over into the lane, and the AEB activated, causing the wheels to lock up, bringing the vehicle to an abrupt stop. The contact stated that other drivers angrily honked at him. On one occasion, the contact was followed by an irate driver for ten minutes after the failure had occurred. The contact was concerned for his safety and the safety of the public because the system could not be overridden. When I took my car out my garage one afternoon, I heard a loud noise that my car was making from the outside of the vehicle. The sound was super loud and made my vehicle sound like a race car reving up, every time I pressed on the gas and then when I pressed on the brakes, it made a screeching/ rattling noise. I decide to take it to a mechanic shop and fix this myself and yet the dealership also says there is no recall for that issue. Another additional issue was I was having on this same vehicle was a weird smell coming from my A/C vents when I first turned on the vehicle to which it then dissipates . Informed the dealership and they said again, they don’t know why the car is smelling like humidity. It started happening in the past month. We stopped at a gas station to get gas and after filling up the car doesn't want to start. It does start eventually after 4-5 tries. Then it's ok for a while. On 8/17 it did the same thing except once we put it in park the light engine came on. I cleared the codes and drove it again about 200 miles stopped to get gas and it happened again. ... ealer and they said it might be the battery. I put a new battery and it seemed to be fine until the next day, 8/21. I stopped to get gas and after I filled up it would not start again, except this time the light engine did not turn on. The dealer is not sure what it is. From doing research there was a fuel pump recall for 2018-2020 camrys although my car was not included in it, from looking at the symptoms I have come to the conclusion that it might be a faulty fuel pump.Read more

When driving early in the morning to drop off my kids to school, we are driving on a highway, crossing a bridge, no cars on either side, no houses either, when all of a sudden the rear left window has a loud POP, and then shatters completely. This was an exploding window out of no where, with nobody around and no other cars near by to cause this accident. The glass fell all over my body and I coul

This was concerning because my 1 year old was sitting next to me and the glass could have fell onto them if they were sitting right next to the window just like I was, and that was a safety concern. I called the dealership to let them know what happened right before my eyes and they said there was nothing they could do for an explosive window. I asked if there was issues with this happening to other people with an 2023 Chevrolet traverse, and provided my vin, they said no recalls so again, nothing they could do. I mention maybe a default in defroster or manufacturing issue of installation problem, and they just said NO over the phone. They did mention they had another lady who came in with the same problem, a window shattering for no reason while driving, but that “things like that happen normally”. Despite having other people with the similar issue, I was given the cold shoulder with No resolution.Read more

While practicing parallel parking in the vehicle for about 1 hour, upon leaving the parking lot, there was a message that popped up on the dashboard reading, “SERVICE BRAKE ASSIST”. When driving the vehicle out the parking lot, the brakes were hard when pressing and the vehicle took a while to brake. I found myself braking at a far distance in order to stop the car at the nearest stop light. I
... turned my emergency lights and drove carefully home, since the engine light came on, which I parked and turned off the car. The next day, I turn on the vehicle and the engine light is still on, I take it to the local Auto Zone for a code, code P0556 is showing BRAKE BOOSTER PRESSURE SENSOR. I then call the dealership, they tow the vehicle and upon arrival they run diagnostics and text me the following message: “ Buckalew Chevrolet: They looked into all of those. They'd have been induced by the parking brake situation, however eveything in the computers have moved to "history" standing which means the vehicle no longer deems it an issue. If a code is not active or current, there is not much I can do with it. It shows us what the computer saw as having an issue, but not what the issue is or how it occured. Without us being able to duplicate it or it actively giving a signal that we can measure, we are kind of stuck without a paddle.” They next say they don’t find anything and they cannot fix it, there I have to go pick up my vehicle. Therefore I do, but the following weekend I go practice parallel parking AGAIN, and the issue happens all over again with the EMERGENCY BRAKE ASSIST turning on by itself, I continue to have braking problems. “STEERING ASSIST IS REDUCED DRIVE WITH CARE” reads on the dashboard, I call the dealership, they say I have to bring the vehicle in when it’s actively having the issue, and I explain that once I turned off the car, the dashboard message disappeared. While driving, the vehicle suddenly lost power and could not accelerate normally. The speed dropped and got stuck around 12–25 mph even when pressing the accelerator. This happened multiple times, usually during hot daytime conditions. It created a serious safety risk, and one time another car almost hit me from behind because my vehicle slowed down so suddenly.
