Steering asst warning came on. This happened in 2022 when I got the vehicle and it’s now happening again. When stopped with foot on brake and auto stop engaged , you take foot off brake steering wheel jerks and steering asst warning comes on. There is also a problem with shift to park. Vehicle shifted into park vehicle doesn’t recognize that it in park and vehicle can’t be shut off until it
... recognizes that it’s actually in park. Chevy knows this is an issue and will cover it under bumper to bumper warranty but will not fix it under a recall or outside of bumper to bumper warranty. Vehicle has a p1101 code that comes and goes. Engine filter has been replaced, throttle body has been cleaned, MAF sensor has been replaced, and the issue continues to persist. There is no know way to fix this. Rear seat belt doesn’t work. Vehicle came like that. Vehicle has had multiple issues. Contacted Chevy they want me to pay for a diagnostic out of pocket and submit to them and possibly they will then help. These are all known issues that they are not addressing.Read more

My truck is under the national recall from GMC for the 6.2L engine problems. I even received the recall notice from GMC stating this. This truck has been in and out of the shop for engine problems things I took delivery of it in 2022. The latest was in April of 2025 and while it was in the repair service at the dealership, the national recall came out. During that time the dealership tried to tell
... me the problem was with my exhaust system so I was not covered under the recall. I knew they were not being truthful so I refused to take possession of the truck as I new it had all the symptoms that GMC was describing in my recall notice. My truck sat at the dealership for almost 5 months and last week they force me to take possession of my truck my taking back my "loaner vehicle". They stated "my truck passed the required inspection", which I knew they were being dishonest, but was forced to take the truck back anyway. Three days after taking possession I was on the interstate doing 60 mph and the engine totally seized up and almost caused an accident from the vehicles behind me running into me because of the sudden decrease in speed. I was able to safely pull over and had to get towed back to the dealership. This incident is beyond just a engine recall now because they new my truck was not safe to drive and forced me to take back my truck. Im just thankful I was driving and not my wife, or having my two grandchildren in the truck with me. To make mtters worse in this scenerio, this truck is actually my replacement truck because my 2021 truck had to be taken back per the Lemon Law in 2022, so this will now be truck #2 being Lemon Law and my original truck loan isnt even paid off. I have all of the various engine repair paperwork on this truck dating back to 2022.Read more

The affected systems are the power train, engine, and electrical. My 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe experienced failures consistent with GM Technical Service Bulletin 21-NA-149 (engine wiring harness chafing) and the conditions outlined in Recall N232404190 (valve body failure, November 2024). Beginning in March 2025, the vehicle displayed warning lights and messages including Check Engine, Traction Contro
... l, Service Transmission, and limp mode (Reduced Acceleration – Drive with Care). The vehicle shifted erratically, lost power, and occasionally failed to accelerate, creating a serious safety hazard at highway speeds. These problems were documented at AutoNation Chevrolet South Clearwater, where multiple diagnostic trouble codes (P0700, P0717, P2714, P2716, P0706, and U-codes) were recorded but not properly investigated. No test drive was performed despite being claimed by the service technician, and the applicable TSB was not referenced. By July 2025, the condition worsened into a complete transmission failure, with additional codes (P0700, P077C, P17F6, P17FB, P1872). The dealer’s estimate required a full transmission replacement at nearly $10,000. GM reviewed the case through its internal Policy Evaluation Tool and increased goodwill assistance from 15% to 40%, while AutoNation contributed only $500. GM’s partial contribution confirms the defect is recognized, yet this VIN remains excluded from the official recall. This issue placed my family and other motorists at significant risk, as sudden loss of power and shifting failures occurred during normal driving conditions. Dealer records, GM documentation, and photographs of warning messages are available. I request that NHTSA expand Recall N232404190 to include affected VINs such as mine, since the symptoms, diagnostic codes, and confirmed failures match exactly what GM has already identified as a known safety issue.Read more

Vehicle: Jaguar I-PACE Model Year: 2019 VIN: [XXX] Mileage at incident: ~63,000 miles Dealers Involved: Jaguar Land Rover Ft. Myers (FL), Jaguar Land Rover Naples (FL) Incident Dates: June–September 2025 Complaint Summary: Between June–September 2025 my Jaguar I-PACE experienced warranty and service obstruction tied to the traction battery recall. Jaguar Land Rover Ft. Myers submitted a false
... warranty claim for traction battery replacement, which was denied by the insurer as excluded. At the same time, the dealer misled the ADA driver/policyholder with a “coolant pump fault” explanation, even though the A/C system was operating normally, which made that failure mechanically impossible. The dealership never provided diagnostic codes from TOPIx/Pathfinder. On [XXX], at ~63,000 miles, the I-PACE was immobilized by a 12V failure. Both Ft. Myers and Naples dealerships refused assistance, leaving an ADA driver stranded. I had to replace the 12V battery myself to restore mobility. This raised a serious safety issue, as an immobilized I-PACE cannot be moved to a safe location in the event of fire. Text messages show direct Jaguar Land Rover Corporate involvement, with Ft. Myers stating: “We started a tech case and they will not proceed until they know if it is a buyback” and “Tech assistance will not give us assistance because of the open recall for buyback.” This demonstrates corporate obstruction of warranty rights. Multiple owners reported traction battery faults from March–June 2025 before signing NDAs tied to buyback settlements. This suggests a wider pattern of recall-related service restrictions. Requested Action: NHTSA is requested to investigate Jaguar Land Rover’s handling of the I-PACE traction battery recall, including obstruction of warranty service, denial of diagnostic access, and treatment of disabled/ADA drivers. These issues may affect a large number of recalled vehicles nationwide. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

The affected components are the electrical system, engine, and power train. In March 2025, my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe displayed multiple warning lamps across the dash, including traction control and check engine lights. The vehicle shifted erratically and sometimes entered limp mode. I brought the vehicle to AutoNation Chevrolet South Clearwater for inspection. The dealer replaced the battery, dism
... issed my concerns, and stated that a test drive was performed, but the mileage in and out on the invoice was identical, showing it never actually occurred. Diagnostic trouble codes (P0700, P0717, P2714, P2716, P0706, and multiple U-codes) were present but were not fully investigated. A GM Technical Service Bulletin (21-NA-149, December 2022) covers these exact symptoms (caused by engine wiring harness chafing), but it was never referenced or applied. Because the problem was not addressed, the condition worsened. By July 2025, the vehicle suffered a complete transmission failure. At that point, the dealer confirmed the issue, documenting transmission slipping, shuddering, noise, and additional codes (P0700, P077C, P17F6, P17FB, P1872). GM increased its goodwill contribution from 15% to 40% of the $9,925 repair cost, while AutoNation offered only $500 despite their role in the missed diagnosis. Safety Risk: My family and I were at risk each time the vehicle stalled, lost power, or shifted erratically while driving, including at highway speeds. These failures created a significant risk of collision. The drivability problem was not properly confirmed in March 2025 despite multiple codes being present. By July 2025, the dealer acknowledged and confirmed the transmission failure. The vehicle remains available for inspection, and I have retained all invoices, diagnostic reports, and communications with GM and the dealership.Read more

I left work on an unusually hot day, and several minutes into my trip, a deafening static noise began emanating from the dashboard area. I was frantically hitting all the radio and air buttons while driving, but I could not stop the noise, so I pulled over on the side of the road. The noise stopped after I turned off the car. I inspected the battery connections and the grounding cable, but found n
... o obvious culprit. The noise resumed when I began driving again, but did not happen the next morning. The deafening static was unpredictable and unresolvable over the next few weeks, and it was so loud at times that my noise canceling headphones did not prevent pain in my ears. It happened on intermittent occasions, in all instances while I was driving on busy roads or interstates, and several times leaving me and my child stranded in unsafe conditions while waiting on help. I finally discovered through forum chats and online videos that this is a common occurrence with my specific car; that the source of the problem is a known faulty amp that overheats and causes interference; and importantly, that the problem occurs only when the outside temperature is excessively hot. Due to the specific conditions required to trigger the interference, the static noise is impossible to replicate on command, rendering troubleshooting efforts prohibitively costly and unlikely to bear fruit. For reference, there are videos of the problem online with search terms "Honda Accord static noise".Read more

While driving the vehicle I began to hear a loud grinding noise from the engine compartment when the A/C was engaged. I pulled over to look under the hood and it sounded like the noise was coming from the serpentine belt. Upon inspection by a Subaru dealership it was determined that the A/C compressor is failing. I was informed that there was a known issue with the 2018 Forester A/C compressor
... and the compressor has been redesigned. I was also informed that if I postponed repair then the compressor could seize up with would cause the serpentine belt to break which would then cause immediate engine failure. Such failure could be extremely dangerous if it happens when driving on a highway, etc. There was no warning light that appeared when the grinding noise started. I also listen to music when I drive so it was lucky that I heard the noise before the compressor seized. If Subaru had to redesign the compressor then it seems reasonable that a recall should be issued to prevent engine failure. All routine maintenance has been preformed on this vehicle at the dealership in a timely fashion. There is 78,000 miles on the vehicle and I am the original owner.Read more

* Initial Transmission Failure: -In February 2025 my vehicle began experiencing severe and rough shifting, which was quickly followed by a "Check Engine" light. I immediately took the vehicle to dealer for inspection. * Dealer Diagnosis and Repair: -The dealership diagnosed the issue as a worn-out transmission solenoid and valve body. They informed me that they had to install a newly redesigned
... valve body and replace the solenoid. The repair was completed at my expense, and I paid approximately [$3000]. The dealership had my car for over six weeks, during which I was not provided a courtesy vehicle. As a result, I incurred thousands of dollars in rental car fees. * Denied Reimbursement Claim: -The recall notice included information about reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses. I was told by the dealership's service advisor that I would receive a reimbursement form, which I did. I meticulously filled out the form and submitted it with all the required documentation, including my repair invoice and proof of payment. The dealership rejected my claim, stating that my specific repair was not covered by the recall and that the recall was only for a software update. This is demonstrably false, as the recall notice itself links the software issue to premature component wear, exactly what I experienced. * Ongoing Safety Concerns: -To make matters worse, I am now experiencing new transmission issues, including slipping, just months after the "repair." I am terrified to take the vehicle back to the dealership, knowing I may have to pay thousands more for rental cars and another repair that may not even solve the problem. I am concerned for my safety and the safety of others on the road, as a failing transmission can pose a serious hazard. I am requesting that the NHTSA investigate this matter. It appears that GM and its dealerships are misleading consumers and failing to honor their responsibility to reimburse owners for expenses directly caused by a known defect.Read more

This is a known issue with Acura that they have not addressed. The software cannot be updated due to a flaw in their design. The dealerships cannot even update the software since it is designed to only be updated via a WiFi connection, which does not work. This is critical, because the 2025 MDX is actually a major departure from prior years in how the brakes and other functions operate. When I

Quite frankly, Acura marketed this vehicle to be vastly superior to prior year models, but they cut out various features (including a hard wire connection to the electronics).Read more
