He jumped the car so he could drive it up on his truck to not do any other damage to it. I got them to tow it to my Kia dealership I bought my car from. They ran diagnostics on it and told me the wiring harness needed to be replaced and was internally shorting causing my battery to drain. They still have my vehicle in shop at the dealership. Thankfully both times I had had issues I was either at my work or my home (safe locations), but I couldn’t imagine not being able to get my car started out in an unknown area or having to jump it every time I were to drive it due to this issue. Prior to this, I have received "Camera temporarily unavailable" errors when in reverse (inhibiting the backup camera feature from operating as intended), even after updating to the latest software version as indicated by the most recent safety recall notice. I've also received very intermittent errors around the blind spot sensor/rear auto-brake/park assist system -- and these three errors occur at the same time -- but I have not seen this error either in the days before or after receiving the collision avoidance system unavailable error.Read more

The flip key fob gets stuck every time I park and will not come out for average 15-20 & sometimes it will come out if I move the gear shift to all gears and then put back in park. ... 2020, after buying the car September of 2018. I was also given 2 key flip key fobs, which one was broken because the previous owner's knee hit the fob and the key broke off. It is obvious this ignition switch issue causing the key to remain stuck in the ignition was never fixed. I have asked for proof that it was fixed and I was told they couldn't provide proof or provide me with the flat keys that were to be provided after the recall. Check engine light comes on randomly, then will go off a day or two days later. I connect my sensor and it says 3 items: 1-high purge flow 2-cylinder 1 misfire detected 3-GM failure recorded. Yet, my car passed all the testing for inspection. I do not believe the dealership corrected any of the recalls that were issued for the 2015 Chevy Camaro when I purchased it. ... iginal design posed a serious and unacceptable safety risk. 2.Child Unlocking Base Mechanism (April 2025) • My daughter is able to unlatch the seat from its base while rear-facing. • She does this repeatedly, even after being re-secured. • Chicco only sent a “lever lock” cover despite my request for a full replacement, which was ignored. • This flaw allows a toddler to disengage the seat mid-drive, rendering the product unsafe and unusable. 3.) Cup Holder Suffocation Hazard (June 2025) • My daughter easily removes the silicone cup holders. • On one occasion, she placed one over her mouth and nose, creating suction and restricting her breathing. • I have since removed the cup holders entirely, though this alters the seat’s intended use. • This presents a clear suffocation hazard. 4.) Excessive Rattling When Not in Use (Ongoing) • When installed rear-facing and unoccupied, the seat rattles loudly during travel. • The noise is so disruptive I have rotated the seat forward-facing at times to reduce it. • While less severe than the other hazards, this reflects poor product integrity and contributes to ongoing safety concerns. My 2018 Honda Odyssey (VIN: [XXX]) experienced a catastrophic engine failure due to a spun connecting rod bearing in Cylinder 4. While driving, the engine suddenly began making a loud knocking/tapping noise. ... ylinder 4, with severe crankshaft and connecting rod damage. The failed parts and metal debris in the oil system are available for inspection if requested. This failure occurred without any prior warning lights, messages, or check engine indicators. There was no advance notice other than the sudden onset of knocking just before failure. The defect caused loss of engine power and risk of stalling in traffic, which could have easily resulted in a crash or fire. This type of failure is consistent with Honda Recall 23V-751, which covers connecting rod bearing defects caused by crankshaft machining errors, and also matches the ongoing NHTSA investigation into premature rod bearing failures in Honda Odyssey and other models. However, my VIN is currently excluded from the recall. I request that NHTSA review this case as potential evidence that the recall should be expanded to include additional Odyssey vehicles. Improper Recall Compliance Recall Bulletin NTB11-039a (NHTSA Campaign 11V244000) requires that dealers (a) retain affected vehicles until remedy or repurchase, and (b) provide customers with a rental vehicle at no charge for the duration of the recall. Nissan failed to comply. My vehicle has been retained for over fifty (50) days, yet I was provided a rental from Nissan for only one week and my vehicle has been at the dealership for over 50 days. 2. Misrepresentation and Omission in Repurchase Letter On September 4, 2025, Nissan issued a repurchase offer letter that omitted the recall campaign number entirely, despite federal requirements that communications cite the campaign ID. Instead, the letter vaguely referred to the strut tower corrosion issue without linking it to Recall 11V244000 / NTB11-039a. The letter further misrepresented compliance by implying rental car coverage was provided by them in full, when it was not. This failure to cite the recall campaign number, coupled with misleading statements, violates recall communication obligations. Intentional failure to mention the federal bulletin 3. The steering is stiff and hard to turn this is the second time this has happened. It happened last year around this same time. I took to Tesla service in New Orleans for repair and they said they cleaned the bolts and reconnected the line. And now the car is experiencing the same issue

Travel Assist is disabled which includes Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist. The warning lights flash on and off, sometimes multiple times a second, sounding a loud beeping each time. It is triggered at engine start and persists through all speeds. I have experienced it 0-70 mph. ... g. Warning lights and warning sounds are designed to alert the driver to a potential safety issue so ignoring the lights and sounds is dangerous in the event it is a different caution/warning. However, also not ignoring it is dangerous because of the frequency of the warnings which causes the driver to look away from the road. After speaking with the maintenance department at my VW dealership, they indicated that this is a widely known problem that is remedied only with the replacement of the steering wheel. There are several other sensors that are triggered by the same issue I was told by the maintenance department. They are uncertain at this time if it impacts the airbag system which is another potential safety concern.
