The head gasket needs replaced because of a faulty design....this is an expensive fix and one I think Honda knows about, but because the fix if almost all labor, they don't care because it is making them a ton of money on repairs. ... n 07/17/25, with only 137000 miles on the vehicle, the error messages all came on again and the vehicle stalled at a stoplight. It would not shift into gear. Vehicle was towed where they had to replace engine valve cover gasket and the timing chain. The replaced parts listed: RTV gasket, cam chain tensioner, tensioner filter, 2 cam chain tensioner arms, cam chain guide, VTC EX actuator assy, VTC IN actuator assy, flange bolt, cam chain guide B, oil seal, chain, and and new oil. I know this is a known issue with the engine in this model and not an uncommon issue that Honda has refused to admit.Read more

In March 2023, my vehicle was diagnosed with leaking fuel injectors that were causing fuel to leak back through electrical connections, creating circuit issues and a fire risk. I paid $2,902.65 out-of-pocket at a certified service center to have all four OE

However, I was told my VIN [XXX] ) is not officially included in the recall population, and Mercedes-Benz USA has declined to reimburse me for the $2,800+ repair. I purchased a 2014 Acura RLX. It had a LKAS Problem warning when purchased. I thought that meant that feature would be disabled. No big deal. In stead I have experienced the car making abrupt jerks to the right on multiple occasions. One instance, I turned onto an on-ramp that was dual lane. There was a vehicle to the right of me and my car abruptly jerked to the right towards the other car. I was
... able to slow a bit before entering the interstate traffic to gain control. Another instance, I turned left onto a county road. Upon straighten my steering wheel the car made another sudden jerk to the right with my steering wheel still partially turned to the left, and several warning lights and message started appearing, including: Brake system problem, adaptive cruise control problem, brake hold system problem, power steering system problem, and vehicle stability assist problem. I have noticed a rubbing sound coming from the rear end at times when turning. There have been 3 other instances where the car was jerked to the right with no additional warning lights or warning. Luckily those times there were no other vehicles nearby and I was moving at a slower speed allowing me to be able to slow down and correct the issue. The vehicle has not been inspected yet. The vehicle has an appointment with the dealership in the next 24 hours. It is available for inspection upon request. This is a serious safety issue! My teenage kids are not safe to drive this vehicle! The vehicle is in excellent structural condition and the motor runs excellent. It sounds like the RTC actuators is a huge issue!Read more

I rear ended a car on 3/12/25, and my automatic emergency braking system light was on at the time. The rear back up camera is malfunctioning/not working intermittently. Sometimes it works, and then glitches out and is gone, other times it is a completely black screen. This started approximately 4-6 weeks ago. It says "Camera is unavailable. Please contact your dealership". I have since seen that 1.5M Ford vehicles are being recalled for this exact issue, but my car is not on the list. I've ca
... lled Ford and the Dealership, and they've said I will have to have it diagnosed and pay out of pocket. It's oddly peculiar that this would be the same issue, and it just started at the same time of the recall. This has put others at risk because I cannot see them behind me, the car is not alerting me to people behind me, and I have gotten used to that function. I have to check to see if the camera is working, and then make sure to look behind, but even then it is hard to see. The vehicle has not been inspected by anyone just yet. I am hesitant to take to dealer, as I will be without car for 2 days and have to pay the diagnostic fee, and potentially repair fee. There were no warning messages or other symptoms.
