Dear NHTSA, I am writing to file a complaint regarding Recall No. 25C010000 involving the Evenflo Gold Revolve360 Slim child seats. The recall identifies a choking hazard from foam in the headrest, which could be life-threatening for children. The current remedy offered by Evenflo is a tape seal kit with installation instructions. I believe this is not an adequate or safe solution for the follow
... ing reasons: 1.Children’s safety: Foam pieces can still detach or be accessed by the child, even with tape. A taped fix is not equivalent to a redesign or properly secured headrest. 2.Temporary remedy: Tape is not a permanent repair for a product designed to last years. It will degrade over time, especially under heat, cleaning, or regular use. 3.Consumer expectation: Parents should not be expected to modify or repair a safety-critical product themselves. For these reasons, I respectfully request that NHTSA require Evenflo to provide a refund or full replacement car seat to affected owners. Nothing less than a secure, manufacturer-tested headrest is acceptable for child safety. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I trust NHTSA will ensure that families receive a safe and adequate remedy.Read more

Writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the vehicle I purchased approximately six months ago. Unfortunately, the vehicle has been in the service department for nearly five of those six months due to persistent and serious mechanical and electronic issues that have yet to be resolved, despite multiple attempts by the dealership and manufacturer. The most alarming issue is that the
... vehicle frequently stalls and then abruptly lurches forward, simulating the feeling of being rear-ended. This issue presents a significant safety risk not only to myself but to other drivers and pedestrians. I strongly believe this vehicle is unsafe to drive in its current condition. In addition, the onboard camera system activates randomly while driving. While this may not pose an immediate danger, it is yet another sign of the vehicle’s erratic and unreliable behavior. The dealership has sent out multiple engineers to inspect and diagnose the problem, but none of these efforts have resulted in a permanent fix. The defects remain unresolved, and the vehicle continues to be unsafe and undependable. I have made it clear that I no longer wish to have this vehicle returned to me, as I believe it is inherently defective. What is especially troubling is that despite being aware of these recurring safety issues, Stellantis continues to sell this model to new customers — effectively placing more unsuspecting drivers at risk. Furthermore, because this is an electric vehicle (EV), I incurred additional costs beyond the vehicle itself, including installation of a home charging station and a full upgrade to my home’s electrical system. The manufacturer has not offered to cover these costs, nor have they offered to remove the charger or restore the damage done to my home during installation, should the vehicle be returned or replaced. I am seeking a fair resolution that fully compensates me for the vehicle, the additional infrastructure costs, and any necessary restoration toRead more

There is a recall for certain VW models because the key may be removed when the vehicle is not in Park position. There is an issue with the micro switch mechanism, resulting in an error code. There is a wide recall for many models, except the 2019 Jetta. My dealer confirmed this is the SAME issue as the recall, but my car is not listed under it. The recall should be expanded for other models.
... Compliance Recall 37L5 – Shift Lever Micro Switch What vehicles are included in Compliance Recall 37L5? Certain 2015-2018 model year Volkswagen Golf and Golf SportWagen vehicles. What is the concern for Compliance Recall 37L5? Over time, a build-up of silicate on the shift lever micro switch contacts can make it possible to remove the key from the ignition switch without the shift lever being in the "P" Park position. This makes the vehicle noncompliant with 49 CFR 571.114 Standard No. 114 Theft protection and rollaway prevention. If the ignition key is removed without the shift lever being in the "P" Park position, there is a risk that the vehicle may roll away, resulting in a crash that could injure people and damage property. What is the repair for Compliance Recall 37L5? When parts become available, dealers will install an additional switch and circuit board. The recall repair will be FREE.Read more

My 2021 Toyota RAV4 has been under airbag recall for over a year (starting around August 2023), and I have been unable to safely use my vehicle since then. Their provided timelines are now unreliable. I was provided a rental
... car, but it is not comparable to my RAV4 (smaller, less safe, lacks features like AWD and collision protection). Toyota has told me that if I accept the inferior rental, I will not be allowed to drive my own vehicle until the airbag is replaced — an indefinite period. I have contacted the dealer and Toyota Corporate repeatedly, but have been told there is no fix in the foreseeable future. Toyota has effectively deprived me of my own vehicle for more than 12 months, with no compensation, no buyback, and no acceptable substitute. This indefinite delay in addressing a critical safety defect (airbags) puts me and other owners at risk. I am submitting this complaint in hopes that NHTSA can hold Toyota accountable and accelerate a fix or require them to offer alternatives such as a buyback, permanent replacement, or compensation. Summary of Incident: For approximately two years, my vehicle has experienced random electrical issues. All dashboard warning lights will flash at random times. When I take the vehicle to the dealership (Bell Honda), the problem disappears before it can be diagnosed. On September 27, 2025, and again on September 28, 2025, the vehicle completely stopped and shut off while I was driving. It would not
... restart. The hazard lights were stuck on and could not be turned off. This left me stranded and in a dangerous situation. After approximately 2-3 minutes, the vehicle was able to restart, but numerous warning lights remained illuminated on the dashboard. I had the vehicle tested with a diagnostic tool at an AutoZone, but no apparent issues were found in the system. Additional Information: This is an ongoing and unresolved safety issue that Honda has failed to address. This electrical problem, which causes the vehicle to shut down unexpectedly, is a significant safety hazard. This issue is in addition to another ongoing problem with the remote start system, which Honda has refused to diagnose and fix. Consequences and Concerns: The unexpected shutdown of the vehicle while in operation is extremely dangerous and could lead to a serious accident. The inability to use hazard lights properly further increases the risk to myself and other drivers. The intermittent nature of the problem makes it difficult to diagnose, but the consistent occurrence poses a serious risk that requires immediate investigation by Honda and the NHTSA.Read more
