on 10/9/2025 I pulled out of my driveway and less than 300 feet from my house I struck a deer. Weather was approx 50 degree and clear. There was no dew on my windows as I park my car in the garage. I mentioned this to the insurance company and they really h
... ad nothing to say. I have had bicyclists get too close to me on the road and my vehicle engaged the emergency stop. After repairs were done on the vehicle, they had a third party come in to do a calibration of all the sensors. He could not perform the calibration due to #PIT6274: Error Message Referring to Vision Camera system with DTC B1C48 - (Nov 4, 2024). I just dropped my vehicle off at the dealer and mentioned this to them and they are claiming there is nothing they can do about it. I started looking around online and have seen several other people complain about this and I knew it affected my Adaptive Cruise Control as I have gotten this error a couple times before and I just thought my window was dirty. What I did not know is this also affected my emergency stop as it does not tell me that in the warning. If this is a known issue, this is a serious safety concern and to have the dealer tell me there is nothing they can do is not acceptable. If the camera was functioning properly that morning, there is a good chance that I would not have gotten into an accident.Read more

The Balmar alternator installed on our RV, which provides electrical power to charge the coach battery started a noticeable whine at idle, it stopped providing a charge to the coach battery, and upon further inspection, after opening the hood, we noticed a faint burning electrical smell. To confirm that the Balmar alternator was failing, I checked its electrical output to the battery, and it w
... as not charging. I then proceeded to unplug the regulator for the alternator to see if the whine and smell were still present. They were not. Since the whine was not present with the Balmar alternator unplugged, the burning smell had dissipated, and no charge coming from the alternator when plugged in, I determined it was starting or already failed. Knowing that there have been multiple reports from other owners that their EKKO's caught fire or had severe smoke coming from the engine compartment, that was later found to be the Balmar alternator, I made the decision to leave it unplugged. I was concerned about our safety and the real possibility of a fire if we continued with it plugged in and running. This just happened to us so we have not had it looked at by a dealer or independent service center yet, but we could make it available for inspection upon request. Please note, this is the second Balmar that has failed on us in our four year ownership of this RV, and we have a friend that has had five Balmar's fail on him! Winnebago needs to be held accountable and should be required to remove and replace the Balmar alternator from all owners RV's and replace it with a more suitable and capable alternator that will provide the secondary power they advertise when they sell this model to consumers.Read more

Wheels: From the original purchase of the vehicle, I had a small air leak from the right rear tire. I addressed this with Tesla and they said nothing was wrong. I lived with it adding pressure from time to time. When it was time to replace the tires because the originals were only good for 20,000 miles at most. Upon replacing the tires, it was discovered that the right rear rim was cracked which e
... xplained why it was leaking all this time. Not long after the tire replacement, I experienced another leak on the right front. I brought it back in to check for a leak in the tire and again discovered it was cracked also, but had 2 cracks in this one 😡. I discussed this with the tire shop and he stated he sees this very often with the Model S. He seems to believe the car is too heavy for the particular turbine wheels selected for the car. These wheels are a factory purchase upgrade. I called Tesla to address my concerns for feedback. They denied ever hearing of this issue as common. I did the research and lo and behold this defect is very common and people are very unhappy regarding this issue and the fact Tesla is blatantly being dishonest about it. For the foundation and a major component that binds a vehicle to the road should be taken seriously. In my opinion, a vehicle that has the potential for the wheels to crack and maybe just come apart is critical. And that depends on the actual speed of travel. This could be very bad.Read more

In addition, I was not notified of the recall in 2021and now the question is “ is the high pressure fuel pump replaced in 2019 the same fuel pump replacement part that came with the car when new? Follow-Up to Complaint #11696210 This is a formal update to my original safety complaint regarding my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [XXX] ), which suddenly decelerated from 50 mph to 10 mph on October 11, 2025 — a terrifying incident that occurred immediately after an over-the-air (OTA) Uconnect software update. Since submitting the original complaint, Jeep/Uconnect confirmed that my vehicle wa

They admitted the update was involved but claimed they had “no access” to the engineering or software details. They referred me back to the dealership, which had originally denied any recall existed and still has not provided a clear explanation of what was done. I have made repeated attempts to escalate my case through Jeep, Uconnect, and Stellantis, but: -My case was closed prematurely despite the seriousness of the issue -No one will provide documentation of what software version was installed, rolled back, or repaired -No one will confirm whether the recall fix was fully implemented -All email escalation contacts have since been removed I’ve been left without answers and with growing concerns about my safety in this vehicle The recall issued days after my incident matches exactly what happened to me, yet I’ve been treated as though this was an unrelated or minor issue. It was not. I was extremely lucky I wasn’t in heavy traffic when the malfunction occurred. I am urging NHTSA to further investigate Jeep/Stellantis's handling of this recall, including their lack of transparency, poor documentation practices, and refusal to provide consumers with the information they need to feel safe in their vehicles. The technician verified the loss of power steering, brakes, and several other codes and diagnosed the issue as corroded engine grounding straps per GM bulletin #23-NA-201. The grounding straps were replaced and the codes cleared. The technician test drove the vehicle and verified normal operation after the repair. I was responsible for paying the full cost of these repairs as my vehicle was out of warranty. I feel incredibly fortunate that this happened on a residential side street with no traffic. Had this failure happened on the expressway while pulling my 4,000 lb trailer, this could have been a fatal accident if I suddenly lost power steering, brakes and had the engine stall like it did. I see multiple complaints for this issue on the NHTSA website and the GM TSB for this issue dates back to 2023. I am shocked that this is not a nationwide recall yet. It is a significant safety threat to the driver and others. I also know this is not an isolated incident, as my service advisor at the dealer suggested it was probably the grounding straps before the technician even inspected my vehicle. While driving on a residential side street my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (81,996 miles) suddenly lost power steering and braking with no waring. Several messages appeared in the dash and the check engine light illuminated. I was able get the vehicle safely to the shoulder and put in park without power steering or brakes. At this point the engine stalled and would not restart. The vehicle was
... towed to the nearest Chevy dealer on 10/29/2025.
