Transmission needs repaired and presents a constant safety risk to our family as well as others. GM needs to stand by their products as we consumers put our trust in these vehicles to be safe and to last more than a few miles. My wife and I both have to work and unfortunately we don’t have the extra funds to purchase another vehicle or to keep shelling money out to fix a basically new vehicle that we have babied. I hired Montway to help coordinate this process. I paid for professional support. Being told to find a holding location myself while coordinating a safety recall is not acceptable. I need all parties to provide real solutions and support. I need the following: Written confirmation from Jeep that the recall service will be completed at no cost to me and that my VIN is being handled as a priority case. Written confirmation from Montway that my shipment schedule remains active and that I will not be charged additional fees caused by this recall. Clear guidance on the correct next steps for temporary holding or drop off timing so I can comply with Pasha requirements without further disruption. I am not responsible for additional fee that has been involved due to the recall alert from 2 days ago, just a few days before my vessel departs. I have now been informed that I may need to pay additional costs due to delays and complications caused by this recall. I need to make it very clear that I am not responsible for any extra fees related to this situation. We were surprised due to the fact that we just had a full synthetic oil change within the past month and no reports of metal in the oil were reported. Honda stated that recall 23V-751 addressed this issue but our VIN was not listed for coverage. Only choice is to replace the engine assembly, quoted $9,000.00. We are just thankful this issue didn’t result in any accidents or injuries when it reduced power and unexpectedly stalled on a city road. We are 1st owners and have had all services done professionally, per the maintenance schedule. It’s a 2019 Honda Odyssey Touring with 70000 miles. No prior notice or poor performance. Honda confirmed it was an internal bearing failure. Vehicle is available for inspection, currently waiting on engine replacement to arrive. Recall Number is 16S24 I noticed that it was exactly same problem I paid for. I told Ford what happened and I wanted my money reimbursed At first I was told the warranty expired, it was either 12 months or 12, 000 miles. I explained it was a Safety Recall not a warranty. The person would not allow me to file for reimbursemenent and after going back and forth finally told me file a claim.I did. Another weeks past and I called again, went through the whole explanation again. Asked to speak to supervisor and after a conversation told me go to dealer to file papers.I did and service manager at first started saying the same thing but eventually put in the claim. I waited several weeks, then check with dealer who told me Ford had to give a code. Called Ford was told no code needed.Called dealer and told them. Several weeks later check dealer and was told still needed code. I called Ford, and asked for a code I was told again about the warranty expiring .I spoke with supervisor same problem. Is 4 months. Nothing. Ford is not complying with Federal Safety Recall Law that does not expire. Need investigation about truck brake problem and reimbursement money.Read more

I was driving the vehicle and without warning it just stopped shut off and immediately shot an error code that there was a critical issue with the engine and that the oil pressure was low, and the vehicle would not start and was not drivable. It had to be towed to a dealership.
