I’m aware that the fuel cap issue is related to a recall, but if the display had not been working I wouldn’t have seen the alert because I wasn’t aware that alerts appear on that display and I realize now that I can miss an urgent alert. To me that’s a huge safety issue! I’ve seen hundreds of complaints online about this, and I know it’s caused by cracks in the solder. However, this work did not resolve the problem. The shop said there are no open recalls nor brake related TSBs for the 2013. They have not fully tested the master cylinder, booster, nor the HECU. With no support for the model year, despite the MANY issues reported for this problem on the 2013 and Hyundai's knowledge of these problems form 2009-2020 model years, this TSB should be expanded for additional model years and likely should be considered as a recall repair due to the safety risk of brake pressure loss.Read more

The vehicle has now undergone 13 repair attempts in the first 14 months of ownership, across 6 different Honda dealerships. All have been unable to diagnose or permanently repair the defect. The vehicle has been repeatedly inspected by Honda technicians, who escalated the issue to Honda Tech Line. Tech Line documents (dated 10/1/25) show that no aftermarket modifications exist and that the failure is verified but intermittent and ongoing. While the vehicle remains operable, all Advanced Driver Assistance Systems are currently disabled. It is my contention that Honda has engineered a defective camera system that requires a substantial out-of-pocket expense for vehicle owners to repair. I believe this cost should be borne by Honda, not the consumer. I drove straight to the dealership but they couldn’t do anything since it was 4:30 and later than work hours so they made me an appointment for the next day and let me go. We where driving down the PA Turnpike Pike when the transmission began to shift between 8 and 9th gears. A wrench icon turned on. I pulled over and the transmission stayed stuck in 9th gear even when parked. I turned off the truck and opened the door which turned the ignition off.
