Due to a mechanical failure, the front sprocket began wearing and eventually broke causing the vehicle to lose propulsion in traffic. Vehicle was left inoperable. In addition to the sprocket breaking from the engine, internal to the engine and transmission, several gears were damaged along with the drive belt. This same issue had a recall issued for the 2015-2019 Spyder RT and F3s in 2022.

While riding, I felt the bike vibrating. Within seconds I heard a crack and snap and began to lose acceleration. Twisting the throttle only slightly revved the engine. I put on the hazard lights to alert vehicles behind me while I coasted to the left side of the road. When I stopped I noticed the belt was hanging and saw the front sprocket had broken. Insurance was contacted and the vehicle was t
... ransported to the dealership for inspection and repair. The dealership contacted the warranty company. Both the warranty and insurance was denied. Warranty expired in May and instance said it was a mechanical failure. Speaking with the service department, they confirmed it to be a mechanical failure and it wasn't something that could be seen or checked during normal service calls. There were no lamps or warning signs of the failure.Read more

Vehicle was purchased new from Yacht Club Powersports in [XXX] after remaining in its shipping crate since 2024. Yacht Club documented the pre-delivery inspection on XXX. On XXX, before leaving, the front tires visibly appeared very low. A family member and I questioned the salesperson and were told the tires were fine and the vehicle was safe to ride. I then rode more than 160 miles home. During
... the ride, the vehicle developed significant side-to-side steering/handlebar wobble at approximately 62-70 MPH. After arriving home, tire pressures were approximately 8 PSI left front, 9 PSI right front, and 20 PSI rear. A BRP representative later advised me that approximately 8-9 PSI front and 20 PSI rear are the pressures used when these vehicles are shipped in the crate. I corrected the pressures to 20 PSI front and 28 PSI rear, but the wobble continued. On XXX, Greenmount Motorsports inspected the vehicle, documented the tires as good, and advised it was safe to ride. Because the wobble continued, I had the vehicle transported under warranty to an authorized Can-Am dealer in [XXX] on XXX. That dealer determined both front tires were defective/out of round and replaced them under warranty. The wobble stopped after replacement. The vehicle later developed suspension fault C211A, and the rear suspension air compressor required warranty replacement. A service employee at the Festus dealership told me, in substance, that they had been replacing multiple suspension air compressors on Can-Am units, not just my vehicle. After my compressor repair, the suspension became extremely harsh and required additional dealer attention. The vehicle has also displayed U0155 loss of communication with the instrument cluster and intermittent electronic/display concerns. These events occurred with fewer than 1,500 miles. I am reporting this for possible tire, steering, suspension, compressor, and related safety-defect trends. Brake light stays illuminated even when brakes are not engaged. My bike was brought into an authorized / certified service center and the, Component: rear wheel was not serviced correctly ; the service person forgot to install one of the two wheel bearings and the one bearing he did install was placed on the wrong side of the wheel ; I took the bike ; started my road trip ; the rear tire was wobbly but I thought it was an alignment issue that I would have to
... deal with when I arrived at the next service center. Safety: the wheel bearing was required for the bike to be assembled correctly ; the one lug nut holding the rear wheel assembly on the bike almost worked itself loose ; which would have caused my rear-wheel to lave the bike ; causing me to have certain injury or death Reproduced: Yes, I brought my bike to another authorized / certified service center and they determined the issue ; held my bike from use as it was not roadworthy (they commented, how I could be alive given the distance to their service center) ; the necessary parts were ordered, installed ; I took the bike : the front wheels were out of alignment which was 'masked' by the rear wheel being installed incorrectly Inspected: the vehicle was inspected by the service shop who performed the necessary service to my rear-wheel ; I tried to make an appointment with the original service center but they refused to take my call, answer my emails, and when I called they said that they were no longer servicing Can-Am bikes for the forseeable future so could not help me. Warning: There was no warning as I was having my bike completely serviced prior to a road trip (~ 4000 miles) ; upon receiving my bike there was a wobble in my back tire as I rode home ; the service shop was closing after I took my bike ; I was leaving the next day on my road trip ; so decided to deal with the wobbly back wheel when I arrived at the next service shop ; I rode at 55mph because the wobbly rear wheel was noticeable at 60mph and terrible at 70 mphRead more

**Re: Safety Complaint – New 2026 Can-Am Ryker Rally 900 ACE** I am submitting this complaint regarding a newly purchased 2026 Can-Am Ryker Rally 900 ACE and a potentially serious safety concern that occurred during the vehicle's initial trip home from the dealership, Redline Powersports in [XXX]. During the sales process, the transaction included substantial additional charges beyond the sta
... ted vehicle price and its current advertised price on its website. My paperwork reflects a vehicle price of approximately $10,638, with additional charges including approximately $1,995 for freight, $1,950 for dealer preparation, $552 for accessories, $399 in administrative fees not including Reg/Tax. I am reviewing whether all pricing and additional charges were adequately explained and disclosed. My immediate concern, however, is **vehicle safety**. My neighbor drove the new Ryker while I followed behind in another vehicle. I, personally, observed a **visible cloud of white smoke coming from or immediately behind the vehicle while it was being operated**. The rider also reported a **burning smell** while operating the Ryker. The vehicle reached approximately 60 mph during the trip. I am concerned that there may have been a mechanical, exhaust, fluid, cooling, electrical, assembly, or other defect present when the vehicle was delivered. I am requesting that this incident be documented as a safety complaint involving a new 2026 Can-Am Ryker Rally 900 ACE. Given my concerns about the original transaction, I would prefer, if possible, to have the vehicle evaluated by another authorized Can-Am/BRP dealer or otherwise obtain an independent diagnosis of the white smoke and burning odor. My vehicle, 2023 Tahoe, previously had the GM Recall 25V-274 / N252494001 remedy performed (0W-40 oil swap) in October of 2025. Despite completing the manufacturer's official recall remedy, the engine suffered a sudden, dangerous loss of motive power at highway speeds when I was making an out of state move and traveling alone; it was terrifying. I had to have it towed to the nearest dealership an
... d that is where it is now as I had to leave since I was in the middle of moving. I need a new engine. I have no idea how I will get my Tahoe to my new residence or when. The dealership was not open on Sundays so I had to find a place to stay after leaving my Tahoe full of my items and my bike. I was so afraid it would be broken into. I had an oil pressure warning right before the engine completely stalled. And, I was accelerating up an incline and it felt like my Tahoe couldn't get enough power to make the incline. My Tahoe only has 35,047 miles, and threw the Diagnostic Trouble Code P0016 through my ONSTAR app as well as with the tech at the dealership. And, I am having a lot of trouble with GM corporate with rental cars. I had to pay out of pocket in order to get back on the road with my belongings as I start a new job this week at my new home. I had to leave some belongings and my bike with my Tahoe at the dealership.Read more

Component Affected: Exterior Lighting (Tail Lamps) / Electrical System. Description of Defect and Safety Hazard:The rear tail lamp assemblies on this 2024 Toyota Sequoia have suffered a major sealing and adhesive compromise, permitting road dirt and fine debris to bypass internal filters and permanently accumulate inside the housing. This is a progressive design defect identical to the one that t
... riggered Toyota’s massive 443,000-unit rear-lighting safety recall (Recall 25TA14 / 25TB14) for platform-sharing Tundras. This constitutes an active safety hazard. The dense layer of road grime and permanent dust obscuring the interior lenses significantly degrades the lumen output, visibility, and daytime reflectivity of the brake lamps, turn signals, and rear running lights. This directly increases the risk of a rear-end collision, particularly in low-visibility or nighttime conditions. Furthermore, the persistent introduction of dirt and sand into an unsealed electronic housing risks premature circuit corrosion, electrical shorts, and complete illumination failure while the vehicle is in transit.Despite bringing the vehicle to two separate licensed dealerships (Daytona Toyota and Parks Toyota) within the original 3-year/36,000-mile factory bumper-to-bumper warranty window (current mileage: 35,821), Toyota and its regional distributor (Southeast Toyota) have refused to replace the defective assemblies, falsely categorizing a structural seal breach as normal environmental behavior.Read more

The contact stated that while driving the bus on a rural road, the alarm buzzer sensor on the emergency exit windows activated independently. Due to the rough conditions, the buzzer alarm activated. The windows were not loosened; however, the alarm soun
... ded to indicate a failure. The contact had experienced the failure with the 5 school buses he oversaw. The contact stated that the alarm sound prevented the driver from safely operating the vehicle. The contact was able to recreate the failure by jumping up and down outside of the bus. The contact inspected the buzzer alarm; however, the cause of the failure was not found. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.Read more

2017: transmission replacement UW 2021: Vehicle stopped/ lost power on I44 at a speed of 70 mph. I immediately pulled over and called Roper on a recorded line per roper Honda. Took it to roper- needs a new motor. 2021: motor replacement Not UW 2024: vehicle was called in about hatch defect . Apparently, Roper reports that it is fixed yet- it IS NOT. I was unaware of the rods recall. That would
... explain why I need another motor. 2025: motor is knocking. Not UW 2025: AIS: vehicle has stalled at busy intersections after an idle stop. Scary when you have a car full of kids and your car doesn’t want to go. Now the car will just loose power and not start at a stop light regularly. I paid $43,000 for a vehicle that may have all the bells and whistles but it is complete trash to say the least. I have records of all of the work, issues, and roper has recorded calls that could be supenaded. ROPER HONDA JOPlIN MORead more

Stellantis is unable to provide a timey remedy for NHTSA Recall Number24V-896. The hydraulic control unit ("HCU") is susceptible to failure or malfunction which may result in a reduction or change of Anti-Lock Brake System ("ABS")/Electronic Stability Control ("ESC") /Traction Control performance. A failing HCU will initially result in the intermittent loss of ABS/Traction control progressing to p
... ermanent loss. The loss of ABS/ESC/Traction control may cause a vehicle crash without prior warning. Driving the vehicle is a safety risk to me and the public. The vehicle is garaged at an authorized dealership since 2/13/25 and has resulted in a loss of income totaling $40,000 as the truck was used for transporting heavy loads. Additionally, I have paid $9,000 towards the monthly truck note and insurance for a vehicle that I cannot drive. Stellantis has not provided an adequate solution, and they are ill-equipped to be a manufacturer of vehicles in the United States. Stellantis is actively misrepresenting safety information to the public without any regard for the public’s safety. Out of an abundance of caution, I filed Better Business Bureau complaint case #[XXX] on [XXX] with the Detroit and Eastern Michigan office after Stellantis advised me that the 2018 Ram 3500 was safe to drive even though the recall was not repaired. Stellantis’ response can be viewed by the public at the Better Business Bureau of Detroit and Eastern Michigan’s website. It reads as follows: “We issued this recall out of our commitment to your safety and recommend that you complete the repair as soon as the remedy becomes available. However, please rest assured that you can continue driving your vehicle safely in the meantime." They made 5.5 billion in profit in 2024 and they won't deal fairly regarding a rental vehicle. On 7/17 they told me they would reimburse up to $60 then 8 days later they said up to $50. When I submitted my rental receipts they said their system is down. The power steering in my '08 Ford Escape has intermitten issues, and does not engage sometimes (especially when starting the vehicle). There was a recall by Ford (recall id: 14S05) in 2014, and when I called the Ford Customer Service, they said the recall was repaired in 2015. They said my current issue would not be covered under the recall. I called my local Ford Dealership, and they said they wo

The engine cooling system of my 2022 Audi SQ7 has failed repeatedly over the past two years, resulting in multiple warranty repairs. Components replaced include the coolant pump, water pump, radiator breather hose, thermostat housing, seals, gaskets, and breather lines. Despite these repairs, the vehicle continues to experience coolant loss and a persistent burning coolant smell. During the time o
... f these repairs we were repeatedly told to "top off" the coolant because "these cars are just like that" (communication I also have in writing. After the most recent repair in July 2025, dried coolant residue is still visible under the hood, coating surrounding parts and the burning coolant odor returns. While the invoice shows I declined service and warned of damage, I have email correspondence stating otherwise and the repair is shown at the bottom on the invoice. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Safety has been compromised due to the failure of the vehicle to consistently display overheating or escalating coolant warnings despite substantial coolant loss multiple times. In one incident, the MMI system went black while multiple malfunction lights illuminated, forcing a system restart. This raises concerns about electrical reliability and driver awareness in critical moments. The issue has been confirmed by Audi Dominion in San Antonio, TX across six separate service visits in addition to multiple warranty related visits. Several technician videos documented coolant leaks, part failures, and test results. Audi of America has been formally notified, and I have detailed service records available. Symptoms began in December 2022 and have continued through July 2025. Warning lights and messages have been inconsistent. The vehicle has required coolant top-offs between visits, but the system did not consistently alert me when coolant levels dropped. This inconsistency, along with the unresolved nature of the failures, presents an ongoing safety risk.Read more

This 2012 GMC Acadia denali with close to 160k has been in the shop several times due to it randomly stalling out It kept basically locking me out from starting the car a "service anti-theft system" would flash across the dash followed by a flashing check engine light along with a lock and key symbol. Salvador ended up replacing the anti-theft control module after the 3rd time having to tow it back and forth just to leave the shop and I couldn't start the vehicle the next day after handing over almost another 400$ and less than 15/20 miles of drive time. GM needs to get this issue figured out!!! There anti-theft system locks people out from starting their vehicles more than it does actually preventing actual theft. This will eventually end up causing a major crash at an intersection or highway if the anti-theft system keeps failing it just randomly cuts out power to the engine while driving.Read more

My new car Honda Accord purchased less than a month ago, had a front passenger sidewall fail while driving about 40 mph. No potholes, smooth road. The interior sidewall failed, leading to a flat tire, damaged rim and my low tire pressure gauge never went off. I replaced the damaged tire with the spare and after driving home, the tire gauge finally went off (8 miles later).

Hard shift 70-80 mph, lost drive power output. No response to gas pedal while engine remained on. I turned on hazards and moved to the emergency lane as the car was coasting to a stop. The contact owns a 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle was shaking violently. No warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over and contacted an independent mechanic. The check engine warning light was then illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the independent mechanic, who diagnosed that there was a misfire in cylinder #5.
... The spark plugs were replaced, and the oil was changed, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic, who discovered metal shavings in the engine and determined that the camshafts and lifters needed to be replaced. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer, who also determined that there was a misfire in cylinder #5 and recommended that the engine be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the year and VIN were not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 89,700.Read more
